The second collected volume of David Hahn's Eisner and Ignatz Award winning series includes an all-new story, a sketchbook, and other extras. Follow Trudy, Sharona, Sam Murphy and friends on what has been called "a slice-of-life story turned on its edge" and "a Gen X soap opera without the angst, but with aliens.".
Originally I read this volume and its predecessor in high school; I just happened to reread them today.
Trudy Honeyvan has been touched by something cosmic. Weird stuff keeps happening to her, and lately it seems like it's coming together to form something else.
Unfortunately after this volume we never find out what happens next, but this is one of my favorite comics for its weirdness and suspense. In general I love Hahn's art style as well - polished lines, very heavy on black inks.
