The Octonauts follows a team of adventure heroes who dive right into action whenever there is trouble under the sea. In a fleet of amazing aquatic vehicles, the Octonauts explore incredible new underwater worlds, rescue wonderful sea creatures, and often save the day before returning safely home to the Octopod. Under the leadership of Captain Barnacles Bear, closely flanked by Lieutenant Kwazii Cat and Medic Peso Penguin, the Octonauts are always ready to embark on an exciting new mission! The Octonauts and the Whale Shark The Octoalert is sounded when Dashi gets accidentally swallowed by a whale shark! It's up to Barnacles, Peso and Kwazii to venture inside the huge fish to rescue her. Octonauts, to your stations!

MEOMI is Vicki Wong and Michael Murphy. Vicki and Michael both write and illustrate the Octonauts books - although people tend to assume Vicki is the writer and Michael is the illustrator - this might be because of Michael's wavey hair.

Meomi enjoys spending their time making up silly stories, drinking tea, and drawing strange characters.

Meomi's artwork has been featured in numerous illustration and design books, while their art has appeared on a wide variety of merchandise worldwide. They are the designers of the beloved Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic mascots (Quatchi, Miga, Sumi and Mukmuk), and have created art for such clients as Google, Yo GabbaGabba, Chickadee Magazine, Electronic Arts, Monterey Bay Aquarium, and CBC4Kids.

this book is so nostalgic because i loved the show when i was little! i lowkey still want to be a marine biologist but it seems too scary for me 😭

This is one of William's favorite episodes of the show. I'll admit that Dashi plays a damsel in distress in this book, but still its only three male characters on the cover.
