Captain Eli Grant was funny and sweet. Livvy was fun and angelic. They dated once, but it didn't end well. Now, they are stuck on a boat in the Caribbean, searching for clues that will provide Livvy with a million dollars for her wounded vet charity.

Cami does a great job keeping the stories in this series unique and desirable.

Captain Eli Grant and Livvy Bennett were a great couple. when he wasn't gone on missions. However, Livvy knew how to put up with these missions even though she didn't like them, she understood. However, her sister Natalie had fallen for a jerk who was married and hadn't told her. Eli's mission this time was different, it was personal. His team was to go in and find and retrieve Major Bennett Nash's team. He did come home; but without one of his best friends and one of his leg. They also brought the remains of Major Bennett Nash's team. It takes a long time to deal with these problems and added to this is his belief that Livvy cheated on him while he was gone. So he ghosts her.
For a year, Livvy has dealt with no reason as to why Eli and his family completely turned against her. She turned her energy into starting her own business in artificial accessories for Vets who have lost limbs in combat. She and her friend, Jarome run the company together.
Livvy has been chosen to compete in Mercedes Belle's reality show, A CHANCE FOR CHARITY. This includes driving a boat across the Caribbean collecting six clues which point to a specific island. All electronic and internet functions have been shut off. When Livvyshows up for the competition, she finds her vet partner is Eli Grant.

Who knew that a contest for a million dollars could be so dangerous and none of it over the money? This series has been packed with adventure, danger, romance, humor and more that a few twists. Eli and Livvy appear to be star-crossed lovers, but in Eli’s defense, I think most of us would have drawn the same conclusion. We all know that a man and woman can’t be best friends without ending up in love (wink) and normally in romances they aren’t. In life, it certainly can happen, as Livvy says, kissing Jarom would be like kissing her brother, yuck. Cami Checketts brings us all the above mentioned action, danger, romance that I expect from her books plus a compelling storyline. You will not want to put the book down until you have finished.

Impossible Sail

This book is such a wonderful addition to the Chance for Charity series by Cami Checketts. Captain Eli Grant fell for Livvy Benedict the first time he saw her. Long distance dating had not deterred him from loving her and defending her to the people who did not think they belonged together. After suffering a great loss on one of his missions Eli completely ghosts Livvy. Now they are trapped together on a boat in the Caribbean trying to win money for Livvy’s charity that benefits injured veterans like Eli. Be sure to read of their adventures to see if they can overcome whatever obstacles are keeping them apart.

I absolutely loved this story. Eli and Livvy are amazing people-er, characters-that draw you right into their lives and emotions. Livvy has no idea why Eli ghosted her a year ago after he lost his leg. Thrust together for the chance to win a million dollars for her charity takes an emotional toll on both of them. I love how real their feelings and the challenges they face are portrayed.I stayed up way too late to finish this.

This was a great read. Livvy has no idea why Eli ghosted her a year ago after he had lost his leg. They are thrown together to win a chance of a million dollars for Livvy's charity, but there is friction between them due to a misunderstanding that needs to be resolved. There is also a bit of suspense and adventure during their boating experience around the Caribbean.
Looking forward to the next installment in this series.

Sweet Romance

Technically, you can read this as a stand alone, but it’s way better to read in order! I was surprised at how long it took for them to finally discuss what happened. What a bizarre reason that what happened happened at all. Good grief! I love Eli and Liv and their story is adorable. The contest, not so much. I liked the little blurb on the past two couples. I’m excited for the next book in the series!

Love on a tropical island

Eli and Livvy knew each other and were madly in love. Eli went on a mission, and during that event tragedy struck. Their relationship was severed.

The next segment of the reality show was happening, and to their surprise, Eli and Livvy were on on a sailing adventure.




Would they forget what happened in the past and move on together? You need to find out for yourself.

I was so perturbed with the author for about the last 5 chapters that I was so tense that I didn’t know whether to finish the book or just close it and forget it. But I love this authors books and I persevered till the end. You may ask what happened and I will tell you to read it and see. So good.

WOW. What a wonderful and exciting story. This is another one that I couldn’t put down. I read this one all night. You will not be disappointed in this one. Getting these two characters back together was going to be extraordinary. I loved this book. I can’t wait for the next book in this series.

Beautiful second chance

I enjoyed this exciting romance with intrudors, storms, intruders, a treasure hunt on the seas this was exciting. I enjoyed each character try to keep from falling again until they could work out their misunderstandings.

Can the past meet up with the present when the hurt is so intense and give them a futre. This seems to be the easiest challenge produced by Meredith. Eli & Lobby soon find out otherwise. There are so many emotions experienced in this book. It kept me wanting more but satisfied.
