From a young age, I struggled to find the answers to what I think of are life's fundamental questions: Who am I? and Why am I alive? I found those answers for myself after much study and circumspection, culminating in strict fasting and meditation on top of Moak Mountain in South Korea more than 30 years ago.

What I discovered opened up a new life and a new world for me. Since then, I've sought to find ways to help others answer those questions for themselves, and live healthier, happier, and more fulfilling lives as a result. All of my work is focused on developing methods for this and sharing them with as many people as possible. I believe when enough people know their true nature and purpose and are empowered to live by it, the world will become a place of dreams; heaven will be expressed on earth.

This is the purpose and content of all of my books. I hope they enrich your life by reading them.

I personally think this book is a nice example of a health-related book. Not to mention that the health part being highlighted is (brain) aging. This book does not use difficult, brain-health-related terms. In fact, I could count any said terms easily. Instead, the authors use relatively simple narratives that flow smoothly, pages to pages.

Being a Korean, co-author Ilchi Lee infuse his BEST (Brain Education System Training) with some Asian influences, from Ki-energy-related exercises, to meditation, and even to Korean "Jangsaeng" lifestyle for "youthful longevity" (which is also the rough translation for said Korean word).

I love how the overall feel of this book is just encouraging. After reading it, you will have this sort of optimism that your aging journey and your senior life later are just going to be great.

I always felt that there was no recourse to an aging mind and body. But after reading this book I felt such hope that I can not only heal my aging body but also reverse the aging process if I choose to do the recommended exercises and change my thoughts and actions. In this book you will find brain exercises as well as exercises for improving the tone and condition of your muscles, even realigning your skeletal system so that you can stand more erect, no need to have that slump that comes with growing older. Ilchi Lee shows you the secrets of intestine exercise and brain wave vibration that will make your legs stronger as you age. As I teach Seniors Dahn Yoga classes, I constantly refer to this book and they love the exercises and find that they are becoming more flexible and stronger and their brains calmer and more focused.

I thought the content of this book is very well organized. I am familiar with Ilchi Lee's work, and this is one of the few books in English in which you can see his five steps of Brain Education laid out and explained clearly. Even though the emphasis in "In Full Bloom" is on successful aging, I think it's a good introduction to the Brain Education practice in general and is helpful for people of any age.

True to form, Ilchi Lee takes the clear approach to teaching readers how to manage their brains for better performance. This is specifically targeted to aging people and their loved ones to help them battle the effects of dementia.

This book shares the wisdom of Ilchi Lee and lets the reader feel that just because their body is getting older it doesn't mean that there is no hope for a healthy, happy and peaceful life.

I think it would be a great gift to someone who is aging...

Great book for seniors to start off with and help understand why going practicing on a consistent and regular basis is so important. I enjoyed the brain games and pictures of exercises. I like to learn and this book deepens my experience in class.

The book awakened me deeply to the fact that aging does not have to cause fear and helplessness, with increasing visits to the doctor and relying on medicine for my health. Instead it can bring my life into full bloom. Well worth reading if you want to take your life into your own hands.
