The answer to Karla's boredom comes in the form of Angie and Cee, two young girls driving along American highways in search for Cee's prophetic date with destiny. As Karla joins these two exciting and determined girls for a ride that will change her forever, she encounters memories long brushed away, parts of herself that she's long ignored and new ways of living life to it's fullest that she's never before imagined. All the while, Cee's strange behavior continues to rattle Karla's staunchly undecided beliefs. With Angie behind the wheel, and Cee's oddly endearing ways, Karla drifts further away from home and deeper into an uneasy uncertainty for reality as she's always accepted it.

Jack? Well, Jack’s another story. Let’s just say he’s not a very happy camper and he’s got a little problem with self-deprecation. Something else about his car and a short stint of crime binging should make it in here, probably something else about love and self-destruction and maybe even a message that needs delivering, but what’s really to say? He’s just not a very happy guy.
