“I want to be the best.”

Set in London, England, this is essentially a prequel to Afterglow.

We watch as Thorn meets Kaito, the owner of GodGiven Talent.

This truly brings back what a damn revelation Thorn is.

Thorn’s awkwardness—social and otherwise. His desperation to find his mother…Thorn’s thoughts are illuminating.

Luca is heartbroken. Rarely one to open up emotionally, he’s just been betrayed by his boyfriend of six months. And then he sees Thorn.

Vulnerability, insecurity, a lust that snowballs over time…wanting someone for soooooo long…

Luca is a narcissistic screwed-up head case. But now we (mostly) see why.

Shockingly sexless—especially with the lust buildup. But surprisingly strong character work.

Excited to continue with Thorn and Luca’s journey. 😍

And, even worse, his eyes bore through me as if he can see how fucking broken I am.

ARC Review

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I really enjoyed this. It’s a very short novella that covers how Luca and Thorn from Afterglow (Book 1) meet. There isn’t much actual spice but there is plenty of tension between the two models! I’m looking forward to their continuing story! Thank you Abigail Hunter for an ARC of this book. My review is mine and freely given.

This was a cute, short read that takes place a couple months after Luca and Thorn got together in Afterglow. It was super sweet and I loved how honest Thorn and Luca were with each other.

I received an ARC of this book and this is my honest review.

I loved this follow up! Thorn and Luca are just the cutest! I loved seeing some background into their relationship, and also just some additional stories of them.
