Another slim volume, although this one is as light as others are deep and ponderous. Sweet, sentimental, fluffy prayers. As bedtime reading, it won't cause bad dreams, but it's not a book that wold make one feel as though one were praying deeply.

Poems:

I thoroughly enjoyed this book of poetry. The many poems were interesting and inspiring. There Is something for everyone, even those who might not be drawn to this genre will find something that speaks to them in this book. I recommend it to all who wish to be encouraged.

Hello heavenly readers, this is a brief review of this book of reflections, poems and prayers that I got in a secondhand store. The title made me decide to buy it because I thought it was a Christian book, but it is far from it. There is a whole combination of beliefs as some of them are from the new age movement, (meditation, Buddhism, mother earth-nature, universe, etc..) and only a few are Christian prayers and/or poems. I found those to be beautiful, meaningful and the most redeeming thing about this book. It definitely does not fall into the category of Christian non-fiction nor does the title match the content, so in the end I was left with a bittersweet feeling about this read. I forced myself to finish reading it because I liked some of the poems and reflections, plus they were short, poignant and simple.
And that's my review, thank you for reading me.
