Zelos is back in the Far-Flung Green Depths—but at least he’s not alone this time. Celestina, Zweit, and a squad of knights have joined him for a training camp, looking to get some combat experience against the deadly monsters that lurk the forest. Their levels are already skyrocketing, but things are getting tougher by the day. Will they all make it out alive? And will they be the same people when they return?
Not that leaving the forest will be the end of their more dangers await them outside, as does a certain girl with whom Zelos might have more in common than the two of them first expect. And of course, with the training of his students coming to an end, Zelos is set to face another enemy that no amount of magic can the looming specter of unemployment...
Why are there so many disgusting people in here? A horny middle aged MC who keeps sexualising an underaged girl, a horny father that can't keep it in his pants, a perverted grandfather that keeps obsessing over his granddaughter, a woman that keeps having s€x with young boys, monkeys that tries to r@pe men. WTH is wrong with the author? Iris is not a good character to have in this series. Her incompetence lead to the deaths of many and I really hope she doesn't appear in future volumes. This series is definitely not my taste but unfortunately, once I'm interested in something I just keep reading even if I hate almost all the characters. The best thing about this series are the orphans, they are so funny.
Zelos is settling into life in this world. He’s even more OP than he was in the first book, but again, he ends up helping the natives get more levels and knowledge.
It fits his character, but I do kind of wish he wouldn’t discuss gross foods he’s eaten, and he’s constantly pulling out cigarettes to smoke, but everyone needs a few flaws…
I did enjoy this book though, and I’m still a little surprised that I’m enjoying this series so much. I am looking forward to book three for sure.
I like how long the book is, but now I want to read more and I have to wait. I recommend it to fans of isekai stories, but the main character is stupidly powerful. You may not like his antics. In any case, I enjoyed the book.
