A fling between friends after crushing heartbreak may just turn into the relationship she's always longed for in this steamy romance from New York Times bestselling author, Brenda Jackson, previously published as Just Deserts.
Learning that her estranged husband has passed away is the biggest shock of Danielle Timberlake-Foster's life—until she learns that she wasn't his only wife. On the verge of reconciliation, the betrayal is staggering, especially as she was hoping to start a family.
Picking up the pieces, she finds an expected ally in her brother’s best friend, Tristan Adams, who offers support, comfort and, as the heat between them grows, maybe something even more. Tristan is every woman’s dream, but can Danielle heal from her past to accept the future she deserves?

How could that man have three wives?! Not only that, but once Marc the bigamist died, his three wives became best friends! Alex and Renee had moved on and found love again. Danielle needed closure before she could move on. Her best friend Tristan went from best friend to lover. He had always been in love with Danielle, but she didn’t know it. He helped her pick up the pieces of her life, and she ended up falling in love with him. She finally got her happily ever after! This was a good read. ❤️🔥
Another good read from Ms. Jackson. Her novels seems so real, she make it easy to read, natural and human. Great love story, even with a little trauma.
Great read, I enjoyed the characters and storyline. After heart break and deceit, Danielle got closure. But along the way she fell in love with her best friend. This is Danielle and Tristian’s journey to their forever love and happiness.
This was another good book by Ms. Jackson. I loved the plot twists and the love Tristan had for Danielle not to mention all the steamy moments between them. I loved this story.
This was truly another one of Brenda's excellent books. I've enjoyed most of her books. I can't say all of them because I've misses reading some of them. I hope to find the other two Mrs. Fosters books soon. As always I can't wait to read her books.
This was good story, but it move a little slow. Tristan and Danielle have been in love with each other for a long time. The fact all of them thought they were married to same man. Why none of them recognize d a crook, amazes me.
It was so cute it kept me up some extra hours later just. And yes, I feel like I’ve read it before 🤨 True to form Tristan was every woman’s dream all the men were even if he was “whipped” and sexy.
Great read now awaiting Book 4.. I absolutely love Brenda Jackson’s novels…Very talented writer with an incredible imagination..Again, looking forward to Book 4..
Love the friends to lovers story Great read Love the chemistry Love the friends and the support of friends Looking forward to more stories by Ms. Jackson
