Sage Bennett is a witch with a tricky problem. After hustling for years to become a top agent tasked with granting holiday miracles, her latest case has left her burned out and hiding an awkward secret: a magical snowfall that follows her wherever she goes. With the storms creating chaos and her job in limbo, Sage escapes back home to a picturesque ski village just weeks before Christmas, hoping to break her snowy curse and rediscover her lost holiday spirit.
However, Sage's plans for a peaceful homecoming end when she runs into Leo Grayson, the new owner of the local resort and the man who broke her heart. Now, he's back—infuriating and somehow more irresistible than ever. He's also the town's favorite villain, and he needs her help to save his failing ski resort.
Sage could say no. She should say no. But when Leo discovers her secret, she's stuck playing along until one of her spontaneous snowstorms leaves them stranded together in the cozy lodge.
As old grudges melt and attraction heats up, Sage starts to suspect there's more to this holiday getaway and magical snowfall than she initially thought.
Witching You Weren't Snowed In is a laugh-out-loud, heartwarming romantic comedy that will leave you wondering if the one you left behind might just be the one you've been waiting for.

**Book Review: *Witching You Weren't Snowed In* by Jenna Collett**
*Witching You Weren't Snowed In* by Jenna Collett is a cozy, charming addition to the world of magical love stories. Think The Good Witch Christmas Edition. It’s a cozy Christmas novella filled with magic and intrigue. This delightful book blends magic, second chance at love and a dash of humor to create an engaging read that will appeal to fans of both witchcraft and small-town vibes.
The story centers around Sage, a young witch who works as an agent who really needs vacation. When the time comes for Agent of the Year Award she isn’t picked. In fact, she is told to take a vacation due to burnout. Sage is handed a ticket home to Cold Spell. A place she’s avoided for years. She heads home and runs into Leo, a man from her past. A past in which she’d like to forget.
Collett has a knack for creating likable, relatable characters, and Sage is no exception. Her mix of inner monologue, clumsiness, and witty banter makes her a fun protagonist. The supporting cast, includes the quirky townsfolk, which adds richness and depth to the story. The romantic subplot is light but adds a nice touch of warmth to the story’s already cozy atmosphere.
The pacing of *Witching You Weren't Snowed In* is well-balanced, with enough tension and intrigue to keep readers engaged. Collett also cleverly uses the snowy town filled with quiet intrigue to amplify the warmness of the small-town vibe during the holidays. The plot unfolds naturally, with enough sweet interactions with a second plot twist to keep the story rolling until the final pages.
What really sets this book apart, however, is its ability to blend magic and love without feeling over-the-top. The magic is an integrated part of the story, helping to create an enchanting atmosphere but never overshadowing the human elements of the townsfolk. Collett’s writing is both accessible and immersive, making it easy to fall into the world she has created.
If you enjoy small towns with a bit of magical flair, *Witching You Weren’t Snowed In* is a perfect choice. Jenna Collett has crafted a delightful escape, filled with whimsy, warmth, and a touch of intrigue, making it a perfect read for a cold winter’s day or whenever you’re in need of a bit of magical coziness. My only wish is that it had more pages!
**Rating: 4/5 stars** A fun, magical romp with heart, humor, and just the right amount of winter!
Thank you to Jenna Collett for the ARC of her book. Below is my review. Want a cute, banter-full, HEA Christmas story with a little magic sprinkled in? Then this is your book. I loved the banter between Sage and Leo. The chemistry between the main characters was there from beginning to end. Favorite "villain" is Leo. Let's not even get started on how much I loved Valerie, his assistant. Then there were the little twists at the end that I never expected. This book had me itching to read when I had any moment of time to read and laughing with the playful jokes thrown in. Overall, if you want a cozy romance, with banter and a HEA, I highly recommend this book. It's an easy read and very lighthearted. It reads like a hallmark/lifetime Christmas movie. I loved it!
I was sent this ARC and to be honest I wasn't sure what to expect as I didn't even see what this book was about. But let me just say I loved it. Sage is a relatable character. Going back to her small town home and seeing people fron her past brings all new struggles aside from being burnt out from work. (I related to this so much). Leo trying to fix past mistakes that weren't caused by him, just shows how much he cares. The banter between the two made me laugh throughout. There's twist and turns through out that I wasn't expecting making me wonder what's going to happen to Sage and Leo. I didn't want to put the book down. It was an easy fat paced reading.
this was perfect christmas read and i aboustly love the banter that comes with a touch of magic . I love Valerie and Leo, there was so much chemisty from the begining to the end ... Leo is the Villian and Valerie is his assistant .. I never saw that twist at the end ... completly shocked . I was hooked to the story a si couldnt put it down and i cant wait till i read more of Jenna's books
I was sent this as an ARC reader and all I have to say it’s the perfect novella length rom-com for the season. A witch with a curse and a villain with a heart of gold…what could go wrong? Better question, what will go right?!
I couldn’t recommend this book enough, it’s so fun!!!
There's only one way to describe this book: It's a short hallmark Christmas movie with a touch of magic. That's all you need to know to determine if you're gonna like it or not. I personally liked the first book in the series better, but I did also enjoy this one. It was a nice comfort read with the right amount of background story, some lovely banter and of course all the predictable ingredients you'd want in a Christmas novella taking place in a small town. (The one thing I did miss was the promised wedding in the new gazebo!)
“Welcome to Team Villain. We wear black on Wednesdays and chisel candy canes into shivs.”
Christmas, witches, enemies-to-lovers, and enough sass to make you literally laugh out loud. Witching You Weren’t Snowed In is the perfect cozy short read to kick off your holiday season! With the most lovable main characters (plus a few supporting ones), you will find yourself laughing and kicking your feet watching them fall in love. One of the best books I have read this year!! I only wish there was more 🤍
P.S. the plot twist at the end will have you smiling like a kid on Christmas morning 🎄
This was an adorable read. Second chance romance, Coming home for the holidays, a Clean Romance. The banter between the 2 characters I loved. If you're looking for a cute in-between short Christmasy story, this would be a perfect read!!!! I'm hoping for more to this series.
ARC Review! This was the perfect second chance story to kick off my Christmas Season reading! The banter was very cutesy and adorable! It had the perfect holiday vibes and all the perfect romance that you could see the Hallmark movie playing out in your head as you read! I’ll be adding her other books to my TBR, I enjoyed the writing immensely!
I really enjoyed this story. My first from the author, let me say, it won't be the last. It's well written and includes serious moments and hilarious moments. The characters will draw you into the story and will keep you turning pages. Sage Bennett is one of the agency's top witches with the task of granting holiday miracles. She has a serious problem. She is truly burnt out. Her element is storms and her burnout is causing the storms to ramp up and she is powerless to stop it. Her boss forces her to take time off for a magical recharge of sorts and won't allow her back until it's complete. With no choice, Sage heads home to her beautiful ski resort village. When she arrives home, her mother believes she had won an award and become the top agent. Sage doesn't have the heart to tell her she didn't win & let's her think otherwise. She also runs into Leo Grayson, an old flame who broke her heart. She isn't happy to see him and decides to keep her distance, but fate never cooperates. As the two navigate the village, they constantly run into each other and learn they both have secrets. A little blackmail has the two working together to help each other with their problems. This creates a funny read that will have you laughing out loud. A great read.
I went into this blind and didn’t really know what to expect. This was my first book by this author, and I will definitely keep an eye out for others!
This quick read was the perfect fluffy holiday romance. No spice, which is fine, but I was quickly pulled into the story and loved the two main characters. Sage is a burnt out witch with a weather problem and Leo is the sweet hotel owner making amends for his past actions. All in their story was the perfect escape from the real world that I love at the holidays.
I wish the story was a little longer. I would have loved a little more exposition - it definitely just jumped straight into the action and took me a little bit to orient myself with what was happening and the world they live in. I also think there could have been a little more development between the two - by the end it felt a little “insta-love” and I would have loved to see their story grow a little more first.
Overall though this was a sweet read and a nice short distraction!
Witching You Weren’t Snowed In was such a fun, feel-good holiday novella. I absolutely loved Sage and Leo, both individually and together, and their second-chance romance hit all the right cozy notes. The small-town setting paired with Sage’s slightly chaotic snow magic curse made everything even more charming and festive.
One of my favorite moments was the fundraiser to rebuild the ice skating rink. Sage and Leo dressed as elves was beyond adorable and perfectly captured the playful heart of this story. I also really enjoyed watching their old wounds heal as they worked together again. Even though it’s a fast read, the pacing never felt rushed, and all the key moments had room to breathe.
This is a clean, sweet, and heartwarming holiday romance that left me smiling and kicking my feet. Having now read all three books in this series, I can confidently say I would absolutely read more from this world and this author. It’s the perfect little winter escape when you want something cozy, light, and full of holiday magic.
Features: ❄ The main character is a witch cursed with snow storms following her wherever she goes. It's a family curse where the weather changes based on the person's emotions.
🎄 She runs into her ex, a wealthy ski instructor.
❄ Her family tells everyone that she's back home to celebrate winning agent of the year, which she actually didn't win.
🎄 Takes place in the mountainside in a ski resort.
❄ The sweetest HEA (happily ever after) in the end.
Overall, I loved this novella. The romance was sweet yet funny with laugh out loud one liners. Loved the twists and the ending was absolutely perfect and cinematic. I hope the author writes more to this series.
Side note: The heroine's last name is Bennett. Just like the main character of Pride & Prejudice. One of the other characters has the last name Spellman like from Sabrina Spellman from Sabrina the teenage witch.
Another a cute and fun Christmas story! This story follows Sage, best friend of Delia from the first book. While the timeline of books 1 & 2 overlap, they can be read as stand alones, but I enjoyed the little nods to book 1!
Sage has been grinding hard at work making magic and miracles for other. When her family's curse of weird weather events rears its head as her burnout peaks, the agency tells her to take sometime off to rest and recover. Begrudgingly, she heads back home for Christmas, only to run into her old flame and somehow having to work with him to bring the small town (and maybe more) back together.
The banter and humor was great and had me smiling the whole way through. My favorite quote was:
"Will you stop devising weird plans where I have to think like a villain or act like a ninja? Where do you come up with this stuff?"
"Everyone knew everyone, and even the smallest news spread faster than icing melting on a hot cookie."
Imagine you are so stressed out at work, that you cause a snowstorm to appear! Yikes, someone get this lady a cup of hot tea & a fuzzy blanket to relax by the fireplace. Snow is nice & all, but we don't want to be snowed in for Christmas. Unless of course we are snowed in with our first love, hmm maybe it's not so bad...
This was a sweet magical second chance romance. It is book 2 of 3, but is written as a stand alone. This novella is the right amount of winter festivities & a sprinkle of witchy magic. Just the right amount to push those holiday miracles into the happily ever after the characters deserve. I'm ready to hop right into the 3rd book.
Content: clean romance | kisses only (non descriptive)
Witching You Weren’t Snowed In is a heart-warming romance comedy that is perfect to kick off your holiday reading! It is a cozy Christmas novella filled with enough banter and sass to keep you laughing and wanting for more.
-Dual POV -Cinnamon Roll MMC -Second Chance -Enemies to Lovers -Family Curse -Witty Banter -Clean Romance
A magical curse forces Sage Bennett, an agent witch, back to her hometown of Cold Spell for a mandatory reset. Only it’s the last place she would ever want to go for a mind clearing vacation. The very man she was running from is the first person she stumbles into. As it turns out, Sage isn’t the only one in town who isn’t very fond of Leo.
Collett does a fantastic job of creating lovable, relatable characters. The tension between Sage and Leo is never ending. Their witty banter is guaranteed to keep you laughing and smiling. The relationships between the townspeople and family members adds to the depth of the main characters and their roles in the story. The small-town mountain vibes adds to the cozy Christmas environment. This is definitely a hallmark type of story line read.
This is book 2 of the Witching You series but can also be read as a standalone. If you’re looking for an enemies to lovers, second chance, clean romance to transition into the Christmas season, this is the perfect read for you!
I received this book as an ARC copy. This book follows Sage and Leo, second chance romance. ****Possible spoilers ahead****
Leo and Sage grew up together but then had a falling out. Years later they both end up back in their hometown around the holidays. Leo has become the town pariah after his father betrayed the town in the past. Sage returns to town and Leo finds out a secret Sage is keeping from the town. Leo uses the leverage to blackmail Sage into helping him win over the town. During their shenanigans, they begin to fall for eachother again.
This was paced well. I enjoyed the banter between the two characters. I enjoyed the magical points in the story. I did not read the first book in the series, so this works as a stand alone as well. 3.5 stars.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
Ah, what a lovely story full of romance and second chances. I love how revenge melts to hope and even once the secrets fall along with the snow that romance can conquer if you believe. Not just loving another but loving yourself comes into play too.
I wish we had more about the world and the magical components but this novella is just that and it had just enough information to make me smile while wanting to know what happens for Sage and Leo. I have a suspicion this world isn’t done yet with its matchmaking and schemes.
If you are looking for a story that is sweet and holiday filled fun, check this out.
My second one by the Author. I like the combo of cozy witchy magic an Christmas. Binge read 80% today.
Cozy Christmas Romance, including a HEA. Frenemies to lovers. Second chance small town romance. Standalone in a series, according to the Author the first two you don't have to read in order of publishing. I agree, either way there are little connections. I read 'Witching You a Charmed Christmas' last year for one of my holiday books. I had gotten that one free from a stuff your kindle event. The next two I bought cause I enjoyed the first so much.
A must read of you like Holiday Romances, like hallmark style but witchy.
The second instalment in this series. Have to admit. I preferred the first book. However, this was a nice, easy read for a hard couple of weeks for me.
It was nice to see the other side from the first book, but it did let me down. Points were made that suddenly became insignificant whilst a character was predictable.
The story felt a little unfocused. Hence why the missed plot points make sense, but the Christmas feel-good vibes are still there for anyone wanting a Christmas romance short read.
Although this book didn't quite hit the mark. I am willing to continue the series in hopes of a better adventure.
I absolutely loved the push and pull of this Christmas story. There was enough suspense to keep me on the edge of my seat, knowing the why and who and how, wondering how it would all come about. Jenna Collett did an amazing job writing this story. It fully engaged my imagination and I was able to see the story unfold as if I was watching it on a big screen. I can’t wait to read more from her, hopefully in this series. Sage needed to resolve her past and Leo was always a part of that. I’m glad the ending was exactly what I wanted it to be!
“Welcome to team villain. We wear black on Wednesdays and chisel candy canes into shivs.”
Rating:5/5
I just started reading Christmas books this year. I am so glad I came across Jenna Collett. Her books are such fun, cute, quick reads. They are hallmarky with a touch of witchy. This follows Sage and her mandatory return to her hometown. When she returns she is reunited with Leo, the man who broke her heart when she was a teenager. When old emotions come back, will she be able to contain the storm within her? I truly loved this book and I am so glad I read it.
The vibes: - weather magic - holiday novella - Second chance - A witch - Closed door
My thoughts: I really liked the concept of this one, and I loved to see Sage’s weather magic. I thought this was a cute, short romance. I wanted to feel a little bit more about the romance match, but I know it’s hard to get there sometimes in a novellla this short. I liked the family dynamics and how Leo played into the story.
Overall, it was fun read that felt super wintry, and I can’t wait to read the next one.
A cute follow-up to Witching You a Charmed Christmas. This is a predictable story, but that's honestly what I want for a short holiday rom-com. It didn't have as much humor as the first book, but it still maintains this series' status as a must be made into movies immediately! I love the elves' photo shoot! It also gave us an intro to our leading lady for the third book, Valerie, and I loved her! This is well worth it if you want a short holiday rom-com style story with childhood rivals to friends to enemies to possibly more!
I loved this book! If you’re looking for a short cute holiday love story this is absolutely perfect!
Our FMC is a witch working in a miracle department and her mood has negatively been effecting the weather. She’s sent back to her home town on a work hiatus until she can get it under control and runs face to face with her rival/old love.
This sweet story follows their journey during the holiday season, with secrets and the perfect amount of drama. Cant recommend enough for a holiday read.
This was such a fun and sweet book! It will definitely get you in the mood for the holiday season. When Sage, a witch, is forced to take a break from her job because her emotions keep producing snow storms, she goes back home. She instantly comes to face with the boy who broke her heart while she was in high school. He needs her help and is not above blackmail to get it. The story is funny and heartwarming.
I read the first book the Witching you a charmed Christmas and was instantly pulled into the series, so starting this one felt like slipping right back into the magic. Read Witching you werent snowed it. Now I’m lucky enough to have the third book Witching you a mistletoe and mayhem as an ARC, and I couldn’t be more excited. I just love the way the author brings together witches, magic, and Christmas in such a warm, whimsical way. It’s the perfect mix of cozy, magical, and festive.
