A short, steamy Christmas erotica novella perfect for some holiday fun. If you’re looking for something plot-heavy, you won’t find it here. This book is a continuation of "Midnight Mischief," but it can be read as a standalone.
Zoe never expected for her one-time Halloween fling with her dad’s best friend to turn into something more. But after that steamy night of exploration, he’s promised to ‘show her the ropes’ of everything she’s been missing. Now, it’s Christmas time, and Zoe is spending the night with Donovan while he hosts his annual holiday party. She’s hoping that they’ll finally have a chance for their late-night festivities to become a little more . . . spirited.
Her wishes come true when Donovan hands her a list of naughty activities to rate before the party begins. With the list filled out and the anticipation setting in, Zoe quickly realizes that this Christmas party is going to be much more than a mundane get-together, especially when Donovan’s charismatic friend begins to show interest in her . . .

well, this sucked ass. i’m not the biggest fan of sharing, and this book was basically that. sharing and public humiliation are definitely not my thing. i’m honestly sad because i was super excited to read more about zoe and donovan, especially since i absolutely loved the first book. but this one was awful. it wasn’t hot in any way, shape, or form. i’ll just pretend the first book is the only one that exists in this series 😬
more info (possible spoilers): 1st person pov - fmcs pov only no virgins no condoms sharing (fmc is shared between the mmc and another man) no owd no omd (besides the sharing) no cheating hfn
I am loving this novella series, midnight mischief i still think about all the time but this was a fun and very spicy holiday party and i love Donovan's character so much. If you are looking for a spicy fun christmas time with some dark romance lyla has you covered for sure
That’s the second part from the „holiday heat“ series and I loved it!! Just like the first one it was really kink (but with some other kinks this time) and has such a nice filthy slightly dark vibe to it!
I really enjoyed to see Donovan’s and Zoe’s relationship to grow and not only in their kink aspect. Both of the are so sweet and you just feel how much they love and how much trust they have in each other!!
Definitely can’t wait to get into book three from this series🤭
Trops: 🖤age gap 🖤dads friend 🖤sharing between two men 🖤bondage 🖤degradation/humiliation 🖤objectification 🖤exhibitionism 🖤CNC 🖤impact play 🖤chocking
I really enjoyed watching Donovan and Zoe’s relationship grow beyond just the kink side of things. There is something genuinely sweet and intimate between them, and the level of love and trust they share is impossible to miss. When Donovan gives Zoe a list to explore her boundaries and desires, it feels more like an invitation than a demand. One of the things she is open to is bringing other people into their experiences, which leads to a carefully planned dinner party charged with tension and curiosity. As the night unfolds and one guest stays behind, the energy shifts into something undeniably tempting. The story does not linger. It moves fast, confidently, and with just the right amount of heat.
Considering these are just super short spicy stories the characters are so good and I'm invested in their story!! I need a third book. Do they get up to some spicy shenanigans on Valentines day?? Maybe not just the two of them? 👀
Looked to see if this had been expanded into a full novel and was disappointed to see no! Would 100% read it if it was. The writing is very good
The last book was Halloween themed and this one is Christmas themed. Boy was it a spicy Christmas. Again same characters as before this is just the continuation of the first book. They’ve now been dating since Halloween so it’s been a few months. She’s been spending more time at his house but they’re still keeping things from her parents. I think this book is even spicier than the first book. In this one Donovan gives Zoe a list that he wants her to go through and rate the things she’s sexually willing or not willing to do from 1-5. One of things she’s willing to do is explore sex with other people so he brings a few people over for a dinner party and one of them ends up staying over and you can imagine the rest. This one is straight to the point since we already know that Donovan and Zoe are dating now so there’s no leading up to the idea, it’s just the front and center topic in this book. It was def a fun read! I’m excited to read the last 3rd book.
“Every day is one step closer to building our life together,” he says. My stomach flutters at the words and the promise they hold. “And I’ll be with you every single step of the way.”
“That’s my girl,”
“I guess I’m just not used to being forced to be the center of attention like that.” “Well, you deserve to be the center of attention always. As much as I’d love to keep you to myself, I also love showing off my girl.”
𝑴𝒚 𝒕𝒉𝒐𝒖𝒈𝒉𝒕𝒔: They've been together ever since book 1. Their relationship is serious, it's a very short story and I wish we had a full book for them because it wuold help get attached to them. Now, this is a novella, the spice is more than spicing and you get what you came for. I'm curious to see where book 3 will take us, especially with that ending!
Not my usual genre but the storyline surrounding the “spice” is intriguing. Stuck between “eww not for me” and “ooooh so it’s not so bad once you see the ‘relationship’ side of things”. 3 star because the dark level of spice is a no but the writing style of this author is a definite yes! On to book 3 to see how this plays out for Donovan & Zoe!
Christmas themed. KU. Ties her up with Christmas lights and puts a bow on her! Zoe is spending the night with Donovan while he hosts his annual holiday party. Donovan hands her a list of naughty activities to rate before the party begins. With the list filled out and the anticipation setting in, Zoe quickly realizes that this Christmas party is going to be much more than a mundane get-together, especially when Donovan's charismatic friend begins to show interest in her.

It's Christmas and Zoe is trussed up at a party, decorated with festive lights, silenced with a ribbon, and trying not to orgasm. As for Christmas presents - she's one of them. And the night has just begun! “Festive Fantasies” is a short piece of festive erotica. 2.5 Stars, brought back to 2 Stars.
See that ??? she deserves four stars. it was so creative and not just like every other dark romance book. i loved that it was Christmas. will i be reading the next one right now even tho it’s 1am? absolutely
Seriously, please write about these two for erry holiday because I'm here for it!!! Don't forget to include those ridiculous holidays too, I want them ALL!!!!!!!
After reading so many dark romances it’s so refreshing to read an author exploring BDSM safely and consensually for a debrief!! And in under 60 pages? Absolutely. And the characters have a solid connection? Love that for me
If this doesn’t get you ready for the holidays, I don’t know what will! Another super short, fun story with a lot of spice! I loved seeing our main characters' relationship evolve, and can’t wait to see where it goes.
I love how the story grows, and so does their relationship. It is now Christmas, and what a gift we are given, but this time sharing is caring! Wonder what the final cute novella will hold. Yes, be prepared to read all of them in one sitting!
This was a great short novella full of smut for the holidays. It took place around one night of a Christmas party. There wasn’t a whole lot of plot but I think that was the point! Lots a spice in a few pages!
it told me to read the content warnings and I thought NAH! I wish I damn well did 😭 The description mentions nothing of sharing! although I suppose that's why it told me to check the triggers! I hate it here 😞
