Fantastic
I can not praise this book enough
I love the way this book kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time I was reading
From chapter one to the end I could not put down the book until I read it all
The way the relationship between nutsbe and Olivia and Beowolf and even Henrietta grew into love was amazing
I especially love how at the end Beowolf because Nutsbe service dog after there instant bound in the beginning and everything they went through together it was fate that they would become a service dog and handler team

Beowolf Doesn’t Disappoint
Fiona Quinn continues to pull you in with Beowolf! You are on the edge of your seat to see what will happen next to Nutsbe and Olivia. Fiona does a fantastic job of keeping it suspenseful and you don’t know until the end who the bad guy is. All of the books - Lynx, Strike Force, Panther Force, Cerberus, Kate Hamilton, etc are great reads and I would recommend them all. I can’t wait for the next book!
Fiona Quinn continues to pull you in with Beowolf! You are on the edge of your seat to see what will happen next to Nutsbe and Olivia. The book was very confusing. It ended with many questions unanswered. Nutsbe seems to have a problem with Albania and Russia. They got his name because he swiped a phone with his finger. This does not make sense to me. The problem was never resolved. What about the student who was arrested in Russia? That was never resolved. Most of the book was about the Olefed trial which Olivia was prosecuting. Olefed was supposedly sent for psychiatric care. But what came of that? Was he tried again or put in a psychiatric ward for life? Nutsbe and Olivia were shot at in the courthouse parking lot. It was determined by the FBI that it was Mickey (her husband). But Olivia said there was insufficient evidence. So, was it ever determined that he was the shooter? Mickey was in debt to loan sharks. They came after Olivia. Were they ever caught? How long did Aunt Jo have to stay at a hotel? She was mentioned being sent to a hotel and then nothing. Olivia was accosted and detained in her home by 2 Canadians. They got away. This comprised about 4 or 5 pages of the book.

I read the blurb and I do not remember the book. So it was not memorable. I can remember books I read 30 years ago but not that one.
I will say 2 and out. I am not reading anymore of the author's books. Unfortunately I have 3 other eBooks of hers, but I am not going to waste time reading them.

So, there are some grammatical errors, a couple of missing words, mixed tense nonsensical phraseology such as 'sick sense ' and a couple of others I can't recall at present.
There are no sex scenes and I don't recall any swearing.
Which is really odd when you consider the characters.
Ex-military, bikers, terrorists and gangs.
I believe the closest the book came to cursing was 'blinking'
So, not very true to life then.
My main problem with the book is the sheer volume of issues.
Problematic witness under threat. Swearing in of secret grand jury. Terrorist threat to her. Crazy pants nearly ex husband. Extremely well educated attacker. Snipers. Car jacking. Nice notes from gang boss. No
And that's just her.
Nutsbe has a whole boatload of his own problems. Double amputee with the issues inherent therein, terrorists etc.
The plotline jumps all over the place in an attempt to introduce the problems and it's just too much information.
You can only track and engage in so much data at any one time before it becomes overload and you simply don't care about the characters enough to try and get to the end.
Beowolf was underplayed and I literally have no idea why the book is named after him..
Nutsbe isn't fleshed out, nice guy shame about the personality.
Olivia has to be the most TSTL character I've read in a long time.
Seriously, no house alarm, no night lighting, leaves broken window ready for the terrorists/gang/crazy pants .. .
I don't think I will be continuing the series but if you are a fan of the genre you would probably enjoy the book.

I'm obsessed with Fiona Quinn's books!
One of the things I really love about Fiona Quinn's books are that they for one have a human quality to them and 2 they have recent events in them too. For example Nutsbe (MMC) was a military pilot and like a lot of soldiers he lost his legs and like a lot of soldiers who have lost a limb he hasn't let it stop him from doing things. Nutsbe is the tactical guy for all the teams of Iniquus. He might be the "ground guy" but his role is very important.
When a prosecutor asks Iniquus for a support dog for a witness on short notice and there is only one person and dog left who has the credentials to be able to do this... Nutsbe. Well let's just say a slobbery dog + Iniquus Soldier + Prosecutor = A potential for danger. Which is what happens. Someone doesn't want something coming to light and there are a couple of suspects who it could be. It's up to Nutsbe and Beowolf to keep them alive and safe. And that is just what they will do!
Throw in some romance in the mix and you have a fantastic book that is very hard to put down. The Characters draw you in from the first chapter. I really loved Nutsbe's story and will re-read it again and again and again!
I really can't wait for the next Fiona Quinn book! LOL they should come with a warning.... WARNING THESE BOOKS ARE ADDICTIVE! LOL and I have my next stalking victim Red Line coming in December 2024! If you haven't read any of Fiona Quinn's books I highly recommend you start with the Lynx series starting with book 1 Weakest Lynx! I don't think you'll be disappointed because I sure wasn't! I like to say I'm a Paranormal romance reader and these really aren't that type of book but I will pause a book I'm reading just to get my eyes and hands on Fiona Quinn's Books!

I absolutely love Fiona Quinn's World of Iniqqus. Iniqqus is a secretive security organisation which, although available for private hire, works with the government and the FBI to keep the country and individuals safe. It's large organisation with everything necessary to go anywhere in the world and deal with any situation. Fiona Quinn includes just the right amount of danger, conspiracy, violence - and romance in each story to make them hard to put down and have me waiting impatiently for the next one. I don't like romance novels, written for that purpose, but I do love that every operative in the Iniqqus organisation has love included in his or her story. This one is focused on Nutsbe Crushed. Nutsbe is his call sign. He is the tactical operations coordinator, not a tier one operative, because he lost both legs below the knee in Afghanistan. He meets Olivia, federal prosecutor when she asks for a service dog to help calm a frightened witness. Nutsbe was the only operative available and Beowulf, a huge, slobbery Bull Mastiff, the only dog. This is a bumpy, exciting ride with multiple villains, including Olivia's soon to be ex husband. I'm lost, having finished this "episode" and can't wait for the next one ! There are 34 books in the series so far and it's best to read them in order. I get them from KU.

Tad (Nutsbe) Crushed is having a bad week. Finding out you're on the radar of Russia is never a good thing. His responsibilities as Tactical Operations Coordinator for INIQUUS Panther Force are vital to that team's success and safety. And now he's filling in as a K9 handler for Beowolf, a court certified support K9. He's an imposing Bull Mastiff. Beowulf is needed to provide support for a crucial, traumatized key witness in a murder trial. And Nutsbe is the handler available on short notice. The prosecutor requesting K9 support is Olivia Gladstone. She's high-powered, whip smart and also on the wrong people's radar. And she's in the midst of a messy divorce. Although Nutsbe and Olivia meet because of Beowolf, it becomes clear she needs his special forces ingenuity. Between burglary, high speed chases, snipers and home invasions these two are constantly overwhelmed with danger. But through it all, they find each other. Despite not believing in a "happily ever after" they do believe in each other and their future together. Wonderfully developed and delivered adventure and romance.

I really wanted to love this. I love love love there being a lead character who is a double amputee, kudos to the author on that one.
I also loved there being women in high-powered jobs - Olivia and her boss Steph.
Unfortunately, other than that, it was a bit of a hot mess.
There are too many different bad guys lurking in the background.
Quite a few grammatical errors.
There are too many unanswered questions. For example, the plotline Beowolf was brought on for as a court support dog never got resolved.
Olivia is totally TSTL. She has a broken window in her house patched with cardboard and does nothing about it. I'm not in a job that puts me in the crosshairs of criminals, but I'd be all over that shit.
Then there is the weirdness of the bad guys cruising her neighborhood looking for her on noisy motorbikes. Why the heck would you bring attention to yourself if you were trying to stealthily find someone?
Im sad because the author has heaps of books in Kindle Unlimited, but I dont think I'm going to be tempted.

I have been (im)patiently waiting for Nutsbe’s story for what feels like forever. And this was worth every second of the wait. With crisscrossing threads and too many possibilities for what’s going on around them, Nutsbe and Olivia’s love story has a bit more of a disaster-movie twist than meet-cute. I loved getting this chance to learn about the man behind the computers, and in the process, the author has taught me a lot I didn’t know about mastiffs. I kind of want a Beowolf of my own now. Olivia’s circumstances could be plucked from the headlines of any major news outlet in North America; it mirrors so closely what we’re watching take place. I adored the little family (canines included,) this book brings together, and I can’t wait to see what some of the discoveries Nutsbe and Olivia turned up mean for the future of the series.

Another great read from Fiona Quinn!
I’ve read all of Fiona’s books and was so happy when this newest Iniquus book came out! The entire series is excellent. The military/security stories are edge of your seat reading, and the cutting edge science and technology woven into story are so cool. Add to that the story of Nutsbe meeting and falling for US prosecutor Olivia while acting as K9 handler for Beowulf a 200+lb mastiff. Beowolf serves as a court support dog for Olivia’s terrified witness who needs to testify against a deranged psycho. I especially liked how Nutsbe devours life, taking his loss of his legs and his prosthetics as a part of who he is, and how he considers every day he’s woken up since as a gift. He continues to train and be an awesome force using the tools he has to make the world a safer and better place. I liked how he took care of his neighbors and Olivia and the dogs. Enjoyed this book! Please keep writing!!

It’s a busy day as usual when Thaddeus ‘Nutsbe’ Crushed takes court support dog, Beowolf, to meet US prosecutor Olivia Gladstone at the home of a frightened witness in preparation for testifying against a trafficking cult where other witnesses have died. Nutsbe’s mind is still tumbling to determine how his name got connected with the US-Russian treason case he worked but he’s sure he knows Olivia from somewhere.
While Beowolf and the witness bond, Nutsbe and Olivia realize they’re neighbors, with abutting backyards, Nutsbe has a front row seat when someone breaks into Olivia’s home before she returns, he puts a stop to it. That’s one of a succession of court issues and delays, one costs Beowolf his support standing by helping secure the scene. Nutsbe breaks in Olivia’s house after hearing thugs beating Olivia. Are these things happening because of Nutsbe’s Russian issue or Olivia’s cases or have the Russian’s tied the two of them together?

Olivia Gladstone, a prosecutor is involved in a grand jury case, local extreme criminal case and a nasty divorce. It has been two years since she left her ex and now the papers will be final in less than a week. The criminal trial heats up and she thinks she is a target of the brothers of the man accused Her only living witness is in fear so she brings in a support dog Beowolf to help the witness stay calm in court.
Beowolf a giant support dog comes with handler Nutsbe an Iniquus private security agent. He is retired military and double amputee. After someone tries to shoot them at the courthouse they are unsure what case this is related to? He has got some Russians possibly after him for a job in Europe and is not sure if this is to do with Olivia's work or his.
This was a suspense, intrigue with some romance and the dog is very sweet. I read it mostly for the dog angle but the characters acted like adults which was really appreciated, no juvenile type drama.

Good story...good dog!
Fiona Quinn never fails her readers, she surpasses their expectations. This book was a rollercoaster ride of suspense, new love, terrorism, alphabet agencies and damn good writing. This storyline just kept on giving. The twists and turns about what was happening and who was responsible kept me turning pages to find out who done it. I love a strong hero and heroine and Nutsbe and Olivia go even beyond that and more. He is an amputee from his service and she prosecuted bad guys. The supporting characters make this story so much more and lead the reader to their HEA ending. The dogs in this book are also part of the essential story not add ons. I appreciated the author's knowledge and research into so many aspects of this story. You need to read this author. Her stories keep you heart pumping from beginning to end.

I found this book and concepted so interesting
I never realized I categorized certain Types of disabilities. In this book as I read through it I realized I did. This book had twisted and turned in it that I had to stop reading and carefully think about what I read. I'm not a mystery Read reader person. I enjoyed this book otherwise I would have quit reading Gone on to my more Humorous books. I like the mystery and the figuring out who did what why And to To whom. The author has a way of making you Keep reading. As you think you figured it As you think you figured it out comes a new As you think you figured it out comes a new whole concept comes to light. I now know if I want to read more books from this author I need to do it On a weekend So I have more time I can spend reading it And digesting what I've read.

Beowolf
This author fascinates me. She does her research and makes everything interesting. She's a great storyteller. I've read most of the books in this series and have enjoyed every one.
This author fascinates me. She does her research and makes everything interesting. She's a great storyteller. Nutsbe is a hero....
And Beowolf is AMAZING!
But put the two of them together and neither Olivia or I stood a chance of keeping our hearts. They don't hesitate to jump in and protect, they shelter - even when it makes them uncomfortable. The three of them "click" instantly and can read each other with just a look, they may have waited years to find each other but Nutsby knows Olivia is his miracle, she is more than he could ever have hoped for, but everything he needs and Beowolf is an unexpected bonus for them both.
I loved this addition to the series, Nutsbe has been a key character in so many books, offering support for numerous missions and so many of the Iniquus staff, it was fantastic to finally see him get his forever with an amazing woman.

This whole book felt incomplete. I’ve liked most of this authors various series, some books missed the mark others excellent. This falls in the middle. Beowulf is great, Nutsby is an interesting character mostly developed through previous books and wanted him to have his own book. Liked learning about the medical advancements in prosthetic’s and the service dogs. The story plot itself would have been more interesting if there weren’t so many things left hanging and unfinished. The romance aspect was iffy and felt incomplete as well. I did enjoy the book and the author does have a way of keeping you from putting the book down, especially if you’ve read other books in the series. This one needs a rewrite.

Awesome
Beowolf caught my eye before I realized it was part of a series of books. Even without reading from the beginning of the series it was a great book. It is nice that it can stand alone and still easy to follow. I love all the characters. Olivia and Nutsbe are a great team, but I absolutely adore Henrietta and Beowolf. Now I am starting from the beginning of the series and can't wait to read everyone's story.
I love how there was an instant connection between all the main players. They were thrown in to a helluva situation and together they persevered and even found love along the way. What a great book and so far I'm loving the beginning and can't wait to meet everyone.

Meh.
I had high hopes for this book but ultimately was left feeling flat. I found the abundance of military, FBI, etc acronyms confusing. Most regular civilians only know basic acronym rhetoric or at least that was the case for me. Once I got past all of these acronyms I was finally able to settle in a bit and start enjoying the story more. Then out of nowhere, at the height of drama, it all ended. The questions were answered, the drama was over and the main characters were professing their love for one another. This all happened in a matter of a few days. This left me feeling disappointed.
On a side note, many of Nutsbe's chapters jumped from first to third person dialogue.
I don't think ill be reading any other books from this author.

4.5 rounded up. This was just the book I needed right now. (Guess it’s back to the book slump for me.) Sorry, but I’m not a rehash the plot sort of reviewer. In fact most of my reviews are only in star form.
Here are some random musings. Beowulf the pup is pretty awesome and saves the day multiple times. Olivia and Nutsbe make a great couple. The sex scene is closed door (which I prefer).
I recommend this book. It could definitely be read as a standalone, but I recommend you at least start with “Wasp” where you will meet the whole panther team. If you want to start at the very beginning “Weakest Lynx” is the place to start the Iniquus series.

nine stars. Nutsby is Iniquus’s tactic man. Olivia is the governments best DA. They just happen to live next to each other.
Olivia is in need of an Eniquus help. One of her witnesses needs a protection dog in court. Eniquus calls on the only guy not on manuvers, Nutsby. He is only guy left that is qualified to handle a dog in court. The dog happens to be Beowolf a 240 lb bull mastiff. So the three meet and all their lives change. Fantastic story with lots of suspense and danger for all. As I said life changing for all. Great read

first time I've found a crack in Fionas plot. and I have listened to every one on audible.
without dropping clues, the hole in the storyline was subtle and could have been interpreted in other ways but because I have listened to all of Ms Quinns books I was a little dismayed.
besides that though. i loved it. Nutsbee deserved a love interest. what can you say about gorgeous Beowolf. awesome k9.
I've caught up with all of the characters now, waiting on new stories to ring in my ears

Finding your family
Nutsbe/Thaddeus and Olivia. Beowulf is the K9 extraordinaire. The story is fascinating as there is multiple dangers for both characters and the question is the violent attacks aimed at him or her. Beowulf is the superstar for them, judges and witnesses. This story was full of action and intrigue which was so vivid and well developed I didn’t want to the put the book down. The idea of how dogs learn and their skills was fascinating and so was the science behind AI for things like spy craft and prosthetics. A great read and addition to this world!

I like Nutsbe so I liked this book. Both characters were great.
There was a lot going on and it seemed to have all resolved very quickly over the last couple of pages.
Also, it seemed weird that even with everything that was going on, these characters kept going back to their houses and staying there alone - no extra security, no tracking the guys on motorcycles, etc.
Even after the kidnapping attempt or ambush or whatever it was, they just went home.
There was a lot going on and it seemed to have all resolved very quickly over the last couple of pages.

Loooove this series!
I didn't want this one to end!! And I especially hate waiting for the next one. It's so difficult to find truly great books you can lose yourself in. I read 250+ a year, but I rarely leave reviews unless I thoroughly enjoyed the book...maybe only 5-10 a year. This one had a great storyline, lots of little details, and my only complaint is that there was a big rush at the end to tie up loose ends on what felt to me like a new/beginning relationship.
I didn't want this one to end!! And I especially hate waiting for the next one. It's so difficult to find truly great books you can lose yourself in. Good read
I li!ed the fairly slow but fast romance. But I think I like it Is more for the action and the closure that makes this a gripping story. Getting to know each member of this organization flows in the background as they find the someone special for them and at the same time learning of some of the adventures the members fight their way out of.
I recommend all these books in this world.

Love Browolf
I had a mastiff, the joke was that she and our youngest were toddlers together. Best dog breed for families. She wasn't a heavy drooler but was patient and parental as the kids grew. She passed away a few.years ago and she is missed.
This book really captures that bond. The characters are.wonderful. this storyline is one of my faves. If you like action and suspense with your romance and puppy love you can't go wrong with this author. Enjoy!!!

This author is always interesting and, even when the story is outrageous, believable.
When a federal prosecutor and an Iniquus Cerbeus Tactical Planner get together and are being pursued by assassins there are too many possibilities for who is instigating the attacks. Both have dangerous careers and deal with some evil people. Adding a couple of lovable dogs to this mix was good too.
