And if so, can Danny not only get there, but map his way back so he can watch over the wife and daughter he loves so much?
I enjoy reading book reviews, but get kinda miffed when you get spoilers in them. I won’t be spoiling anything, I promise! This book was a roller coaster! I laughed, cried, got annoyed, and experienced a profound peace. Everyone has at one point or another thought about death. People have been fascinated with what comes after. This book profoundly captures the fictional journey of navigating Danny’s story. I only hope to be able to accomplish in my life what the author capitulates in her book. Jacqueline Druga’s characters are memorable and her books are emotionally charged!
3.5 stars This is a short, emotional, and engaging book, a bit different from Jacqueline Druga’s usual themes but just as creative. Danny’s character is funny and likeable, even as he’s going through a difficult time. I felt sad reading this, but I did enjoy Danny’s story from his perspective and from the points of view of those around him.
Another great book by Jacqueline. I hard time putting it down at night. I have enjoyed all her books so far. Pick this up and have a wonderful time reading even if it is a little sad.
