This series has me in a chokehold. So good each one building on off of the previous.

I knew Teddy would be my favorite so far. He’s funny, kind, strong when he should be, and deep down is a good person. And I will forever root for someone who is old school listing to a Walkman to 80s & 90s jams. He was thrusted into a job he did not want nor would he take willingly even when forced on to him; but it did bring his woman back into his life after so long.

Raven the strong emotionally, mentally, and physically scarred woman so hasn’t been treated by anyone like she should have been treated. All that she has gone through she still fights to find what’s right and protects those who she loves.

Both of them need and compliment each other. Teddy is so respectful and keenly aware of what she needs to help process her trauma. Raven is the shining light in his dark world. I love that he calls her his darkness. I do love me some Edgar Allen Poe. This whole story was funny, fast, emotional, so spicy (hello edging), and fantastic.

I have a feeling Constantine’s story will be dark and just as incredible. I can’t wait to dive into his story soon!!

Thank you Ivy Wild and Valentine PR for allowing me to read this ARC. The above review are my thoughts and opinions only.

I was lucky enough to be sent this an ARC and I loved this book!!

This is the third in the Boston Bloodline series and you can either read this as part of the series or as a standalone which is what I did. I’m definitely going to go back now and read the other 2 as this one was incredible!

This is a 2nd chance mafia romance with so many twists and turns that I didn’t see coming and soooo spicy! Teddy is a beautiful human who loves hard considering he’s head of the family and his love for Raven is clear throughout. Raven is an absolute warrior and deserves peace and happiness. Will they get it though? You’ll have to read and find out!!

“Want is such an insufficient word for what you mean to me. You’re not just a want. You’re not even a need. You are a compulsion. You consume my every thought. My every step. My every moment. When I’m with you, I never feel alone. When I’m with you, I’m home. When I’m with you, I’m at peace “.

Take that! Omg Teddy!! I just can’t with him..He is at times fun and playful like a small puppy and at times, fierce, loyal and protective.

This was such a good book and definitely worth reading!

Check TW before beginning your journey..

prince of sin by ivy wild is a second chance, angsty romance following the story of the youngest son of the maldonado mafia family, teddy and nun to be raven kirkland. teddy and raven briefly knew each other when they were in high school when teddy helped her when she was most vulnerable but after raven soon disappears. thirteen years later, their paths across and soon old feelings begin to ignite once again.

this book made me feel so many things, i laughed, i cried and giggled almost at the same time. i didn't expect teddy to be such a softie and for raven to literally be such an angel. i was living for how in love this man was with raven from the get go and refused to let anyone hurt her. not to mention, teddy is hilarious in kind of an insufferable way if that makes sense (my favorite kind lol).

this was my first book in the boston bloodlines series but i'm very tempted to pick up the ones before this. even though constantino was an asshole, i'm definitely going to read his book. i cannot wait to see who brings that asshole to his knees because man needs to be humbled real bad.

overall, this was a very entertaining read. it was fast paced, addictive and swoon worthy. if you're into mafia romance's - you should give this a try!

Arc Review:

This is the third book by Ivy that i’ve read but this is the one I ate up the fastest. this book is so good! Ever since I read Prince of Chaos I’ve been WAITING for Teddy’s story. I love the contrast of Teddy to his brother’s. He is carefree, doesn’t take everything so serious, and he cares about those around him. Although he’s not into the business side of stuff he’s the clean up guy, he cleans up the scenes after the crime so there’s no indication of what happened and no evidence of who was apart of the crime. When I read the first chapter I was curious to where it was going to go but it was better than I expected honestly. I loved reading about how Teddy and Raven met and then seeing them in present time. Raven is probably my favorite partner to one of the brother’s as well!! She’s strong and even though she battles with what she wants through the book, I love her story and what she stands for. Seeing what she went through as a child to being a grown woman and the struggles she’s faced, i couldn’t help but root for her and Teddy. While none of the spice scenes are as scandalous as the other two books (the church scene at the end of POC if you know you know) i cherish this book for everything is it but also isn’t. There’s personally nothing I’d change to this book besides making the book longer! I’m obsessed and I’m also sad this book ended so fast. I cannot wait for the next one!

• Mafia • Second Chance • Tortured Lead • Close Proximity • Bad Boy, Good Girl • He Falls First •

I really wanted to like this book, I really did. I really enjoyed the first half and I thought it was going great places, but then it just totally fell apart in the back half. The back half felt rushed with the major conflicts being resolved too conveniently or easily. And for a book that was supposed to be mafia, it really felt like it was lacking mafia things. I think some of that might’ve come about because the MMC found himself in a position of power that he really didn’t want. But the side characters just were not doing it for me, and didn’t really provide anything. The story could’ve been any old story and not mafia at all, and it probably would’ve been better.

I did really like the MMC being a “cleaner.” That was different than most other mafia I’ve read and was a nice change of pace. I just struggled with him being too much of a golden retriever. He started the book kind of giving off slightly unhinged vibes, but that quickly went by the wayside.

The FMC was interesting with her backstory and the outcome of her trauma. Would have liked a little more relationship building between the two though.

Tropes -
. Mob/mafia romance
. Boy falls first
. Forbidden Love
. Bad boy good girl
. Tragic past ( TW)

In this 4th book of Boston Bloodline series we meet Teodoro and Raven. Who met each other when they were in highschool, and something significant happened. Now they met again 13 years later with more baggage to unfold.

Okay, I actually like this book, like the characters Theodoro aka Teddy and Raven. I like Teddy most. He is the most laidback mafia man I have ever read. His humour and character is really fascinating. And Raven with her conflicting thoughts are also interesting to follow.

But I also has a huge disappointment. While reading the book both Teddy and Raven feels like teenager most of the time, even with all those sufferings, and their romance too. And it keeps going till 70% of the book. Then the relationship feels mature, they feels mature. I don't know why.

Anyway I am eager to read about Constantino most, cause his character is more fascinating and full with mystery.

love me some Teddy!

Oh I loved this second chance book!

Raven had a terrible childhood when Teddy walked into her life. He helped her with a situation she was in then she ran away.
She was on her way to become a Nun when she stumbled upon Teddy cleaning up a crime scene.

Teddy fell in love with Raven the day he saved her and can’t believe she is back in his life.
Right now he has to take over his family business that he never wanted. While he struggles with this, he also is trying to keep his hands to himself.

Oh I just loved these two! How he helps her overcome the trama in her past and shows her how to be loved.

Mafia with all the angst - I’m in!

I adored Teddy. Such a fun character that even when he’s mafia-ing, can’t help but love him. And the way he is with Raven, yes please.

So many twists and turns and sooooo much angst! Give me more!

This a deliciously thrilling read. Very intense but a great page turner. Spicy but just the right amount that it didn’t over take the character building and relationships built with it. I loved it.

Prince of Sin by Ivy Wild, is the third book in the Boston Bloodlines Series, now it is the turn of Teodoro “Teddy” Maldonado, after Primo and Giovanni give up their family chair for their respective wives, the position of power falls on Teddy, he is by nature a chill and joking man, so occupying that position brings him responsibilities that he was not looking for and he has to be in everything a little bit. But there is something that he has always enjoyed and what he has been good at is taking charge of cleaning the scenes. This leads him to take care of one in particular and when he is finishing it he discovers that there is someone watching him. When he manages to catch the witness, he realizes not only that she is a woman, but that she is the girl he has never been able to stop thinking about and whom he always wants to meet again. Raven Kirkland has had a tough upbringing, her parents expect excellence from her and no matter what she does she always ends up doing everything wrong and was cruelly punished for it, when one day she manages to escape her punishment the consequences of the same make her go to seek help from Constantino, but instead it's Teddy who ends up helping her, but guilt leads her to run away, after thirteen years she meets again the boy who helped her that night and made her feel safe, their years apart have been full of darkness for her, so now she seeks redemption by giving her life to the church. But Teddy has also changed, now as Don of the Mafia Crime Syndicate, he will do everything possible to help Raven, but when they believed they could have a future together, her loyalty is called into question, leading Teddy to a crossroads between his family and love.
With each new story in this Series I become a bigger fan of this author. If I loved the Maldonado brothers before, I think Teddy takes first place. His sense of humor, even on the heaviest occasions, is hilarious and makes him unique. His connection with Raven is beautiful and sweet. This story captivated me from its first pages and it makes me very happy to know that we are still missing a Maldonado brother whose story we will have, for which I will be very attentive. If you enjoy the romance of Mafia, with its dark touch, this Series is for you. Highly recommended!
*Thanks to Ivy Wild and Valentine PR & Literary Management for my ARC. I voluntarily leave my honest review*

¡Altamente Recomendada!

Ooohhh.. Finally we have the book of the sweetest brother among the Maldonado clan. Teddy Maldonado is easy going and fuss free and I have always loved how he talks to everyone around him and makes them feel great.

In both the previous books in this series (which are amazing and you should definitely read them), we have seen Teddy as the one brother around whom each of the brother's girl felt like she could be anything and yet not feel judged.
Teddy has been that calm and understanding and a cool person whenever he's around people and hence it's no wonder that he's the most liked among the brothers.

But seriously I never expected Teddy's story to be so wild and especially the twists that awaited and his girl who would be his opposite and yet would bring him to his knees. ( No worries, all in good ways 😉)

So now that both Primo and Giovanni have left the business, it has all come upon Teddy's shoulders to keep running something that he doesn't have any idea about.
But his brothers basically just pushed upon him this unavoidable responsibility that Teddy doesn't really want to be a part of.

I loved the Past bits of the story that are told, where we actually get to see the real root connection between Teddy and Raven and OH MY FREAKING GOODNESS.... I was shocked with the twists and turns that happened all those years ago.

Seriously, that part of the story had me turning the pages like crazy.

But then even after having that special connection, Raven leaves Teddy behind without a single word and he has no idea where she is.

Now, years later when he stumbles upon her, first he's shocked to find her there and secondly he is unable to believe that she belongs to the church and hence they can never be together (just read ahead, Ms. Wild has not really crossed the moral boundaries here, so all's good)

But Raven is hiding secrets too and with the arising tension between his family and the Irish and also people wanting to tear them apart, would Teddy ever get to be with the only woman he's ever wanted?

This story definitely kept me on my toes and my goodness did it feel like, would they ever be together because of so many obstacles that seemed to be paved on their road.

I'm seriously loving each brother's book and now the next one is of the black sheep of the family, the one and only Constantine Maldonado.
I never thought I'll be interested in reading his book because of his past actions but Oh my, the revelations in this one has left me shocked and changed every belief I had about him. (Obviously minus the part where he's still the grade A 𝖠-𝗁𝗈𝗅𝖾 and Anti-hero).

I'm excited to dive into his book next. Ahhh.. Can't wait. Loved loved this one. ❤️❤️

Raven Kirkland had a secret life nobody knew about when she was in high school. She dated one of the older Maldonado brothers and one night she came to his family mansion to ask for help and ended up getting Teddy to help her instead.

Teodoro “Teddy” Maldonado knew he wanted his older brothers girlfriend, Raven, when they were in high school but knew he didn’t have a chance until she came to their house one night needing help. He was shocked by what he discovered but knew he was going to do what he needed to be done to protect Raven at all costs. Now 10 years later he is reluctantly running the family’s Mafia after his two older brothers decided they wanted out.

Then the next day Raven was gone and then 10 years later she stumbles into Teddy’s life again and he knows what he has to do to keep her safe once again.

Can Raven keep the secrets of the past and the present to keep herself and Teddy alive?

This was a good book and I enjoyed it.

Raven went through so much that I could see where she finally found some solace. I think she believed that this was where she needed to be as she felt like she had sinned so much that if she gave herself to God she could make up for her past mistakes. It was interesting how the two different Father’s that she confessed to each took a completely different approach on what it all meant from God and how God would feel about Raven’s past. Raven was so grateful for what Teddy did for her in the past but she didn’t want him to be linked to her as she didn’t want to create problems for her.

Teddy was stuck in a job that he didn’t want but didn’t understand how he could escape the family Mafia as he was pretty much the only one left. That being said he didn’t enjoy it and really didn’t want to do what he had to and therefore when he saw Raven again he felt like he could finally control an aspect of his own life.

There was so much chemistry between Raven and Teddy from before to now and it had never gone away. There was no judgement between the two and when they got back together things still weren’t instant which I liked. I really thought these two were good for each other and I was happy for how things went.

I knew things weren’t making sense on the business side and to me things weren’t adding up with what was happening. I had some guesses to what was going on and I was glad I was right.

The end of the book definitely had some surprises and I was really mad at Teddy for some of his actions but I was glad he finally put the pieces together although it was a little late.

The very end of the book was great and I am interested in what is going to happen next with the family!- Rebecca

Teodoro Maldonado. The youngest of four brothers and the last of the Maldonado children who want to take over the family mafia business.

Raven Kirkland. Loner & top of her class despite her abusive and controlling parents.

After a life time of abuse, Raven is finally able to take control of her life and rid herself of her abusive parents. For good. However, this doesn’t come without some help from Teddy, her boyfriend’s youngest brother. After Teddy helps Raven who finds herself in a perilous situation, the two enjoy a day of sharing secrets and creating a bond that (as we find out) will withstand anything. But, when Teddy wakes up the following day, Raven is gone.

Fast forward ten years and Teddy, who is now head of the Maldonado family, finds himself face to face with Raven once again. Teddy takes Raven under his protection because, once again, he is faced with the girl who he has a bond with unlike any other. Raven, however, has taken on the life of a nun to absolve herself of the sins she has committed simply to survive the day to day. This causes some resistance from Raven when dealing with her feelings for Teddy. However, Teddy is our persistent MMC, and while he has golden retriever energy, he is still a part of a mafia family and will stop at nothing to have what he wants (but within limits, of course. Remember, big golden retriever energy)!

Teddy was such a refreshing character especially for a book that is based around a mafia family. His internal monologue is hilarious and I think that’s a huge reason why I liked his character so much. He also wants afraid of showing vulnerability and he really was just such a big softy. He didn’t like to hurt people, especially Raven, and I just really liked him all around. Raven, who suffered a childhood full of abuse, did the best she could with the resources she had to survive. I think her life would have been different had she not ran from Teddy as teenagers but alas, she did, and she did the best she could. I liked Raven. I think she was strong and had her own humorous moments but Teddy was the light that she needed after a lifetime of darkness. The relationship between these two was like old friends falling in love (even though they only spent 1 day together). I’m going to have to go back and read the first two books now because naturally I’m curious about Primo and Giovanni and how they ended up not having to run the family anymore. I’m also looking forward to a story about Consty 👀

**ARC Review** This is my first Boston Bloodlines book and I am highly impressed. I have definitely found a new author for myself!

Teddy is the youngest of the Maldonado Mafia crew who never quite fit into the family because he was much younger. He's not your typical alpha, broody, mysterious guy who grew up with a bad childhood so he unalives people, so this was a very unexpected character for me going into a Mafia book. Teddy is a more playful, happy, go-lucky personality who jokes around (and he will crack you up). That doesn't mean that this sunshine trait of his doesn't disappear, because it does. And it does get a tad angsty for my angst lovers (that's me 🙋🏻‍♀️).

Raven is a very smart, troubled young girl who happens upon Teddy one early morning when she's seeking help from his brother, Consty. And thus a secret is birthed and sealed with a kiss. While she's on the run for 8 years, her life experiences shape her into a woman who is unsure of herself and her worth, but she knows one thing. She knows Teddy, the one person who treated her kindly and made her feel special - the boy who her changed her life, forever.

Some readers may be put off by some of the indecisiveness of Raven, but let's remember what she's been through, where she's been, what she's experienced. She has no voice, she is unsure, she feels unseen. She's run away for the past 8ish years. This should help put it into perspective. When your not supposed to exist, when your decisions were always made for you - how do you make your own decisions? How do you speak up?

I don't have much interest reading the two prior books about Primo and Giovanni (those were their names, right? I feel like I'm having a Teddy moment 😅). I feel like they did Teddy bad with the way they were so nonchalant about him and the situation they put him in when he never wanted the Mafia life...but I AM highly, EXTREMELY interested to see who breaks Teddy's older brother, Consty. C'mon now - this man is a little unhinged based on the small glimpse we get from book 3, and I hope he falls first, and comes completely undone. And so....we wait for the next deliciousness.

Teodoro Maldonado is the youngest of the four brothers and is not happy with his current circumstances. He is a cleaner not a leader, but do his brothers care? No!

Primo handed over the reins to Giovanni when he decided to marry his attorney and leave the mob life. Giovanni, who had decided to make their family legit fell in love with a Cuban mob boss's daughter and moved to Florida to help her run their syndicate. Constantine. Well, he has a price on his head. Everyone wants him dead after he killed Charlie. His brothers included.

Teddy is about to walk out the doors of the cathedral after doing a clean-up when something flashes in the corner of his eye. When he tackles the witness he is in shock when his eyes meet those of Raven. His Darkness. The woman he hasn't seen in thirteen years.

I loved this book! It is very well written and the characters are fully developed and relatable. This is book three of the Boston Bloodlines series and although it can be read as a standalone I would suggest you read this series from the beginning to truly understand the dynamics of these brothers and the underlying troubles with the Irish mob.

To say that Raven had a rough childhood doesn't even touch the torture she lived through. She is ready to take her vows to the Church when she runs into Teddy again and all she believes about herself is falling apart.

Teddy has never wanted to be involved in the business dealings of the family business, but being the cleaner cleared his mind. He never wanted the details about the scene or the crime loving to put the pieces together as he worked the crime scene backwards. Now he is in over his head in more ways than one.

This book is action-packed and has triggers of child abuse and torture. As with all of Ivy's books, you have depraved men and all the dark romance you can ask for. Teddy was always the kinder brother but his actions during his breakdown of losing Raven surprised me.

I love this series and am really looking forward to how Ivy is going to redeem Constantino in the next book to deserve anything but punishment for his actions.

IVY WILD has easily become one of my favorite and an autoread author of mine (if she writes it i wanna read it) and I am so glad yo have gotten an opportunity to read her BOSTON BLOODLINES series who’s books are juat top tier for me.

PRINCE OF SIN is the 3rd book in the BOSTON BLOODLINES SERIES

🔥Anti-hero
🔥Billionaire Romance
🔥Second Chance romance
🔥Close Proximity
🔥Dark Romance
🔥Bad boy; Good girl

Plot: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Spice: 🌶🌶️🌶️

This series got me good...🥰
Everything about it is just PERFECTION

Teddy finds himself in a position he never really wanted. One night, while on a job, he finds a witness hiding in the shadows and is shocked to discover that she's a familiar face. One he hasn't seen in years. He takes Raven back to the mansion to protect her and decides to put her under the protection of the family. He's drawn to her, just as he was all those years ago, and he soon discovers that he can't stay away from her even if it drags them both into sin.

The two have a history where Teddy helped her out of a bad situation. Teddy always liked Raven even when she was dating his older brother. I loved reading about how Teddy and Raven met and then seeing them in the present . Raven is so strong and brave, I love her story and what she stands for. Seeing what she went through as a child, the struggles she’s faced, and how she overcame I couldn’t help but absolutely love their story

I always loved Teddy and when i heard He was getting a story all about him I literally couldn’t wait to get my hands on it.. I found their relationship very heartwarming and refreshing. Their spice was perfect, and their story was just so beautifully written!

I really enjoyed this book! I’d definitely re-read this! I would highly recommend reading this series and YES! its all worthit! I gotta say though …so far PRINCE OF CHAOS IS my favorite

Looking forward to reading the next story. Am never really sure what to expest since Miss Ivy Wild keeps suprising me every time haha

The main male lead, Teddy, has always been bright, bubbly, and slightly chaotic. A personality trait that shone through in the author's writing early on. But as the story progressed and Teddy began losing himself to the darkness of his new-found responsibilities within the family, and with betrayal and danger lurking and making him question everything he's ever thought or felt, the author's writing changed, and as a reader, I felt that personality shift within him, making for a gripping read as I waited and wanted for him to find his happiness and to find it with Raven.

''I call you Darkness, but it's because you're the force that makes me see the light''

Raven comes with her own host of issues, and with her traumatic past, she has chosen to become a nun and seek out God. I enjoyed how the author dealt with her religion and her doubts about becoming a nun or choosing to be with Teddy. The book didn't bash religion at all, nor did it push religion upon the reader. There was no right answer, and while Raven felt like she had to make a choice, the author used sideline characters such as Father James and Mother Superior to offer support and show that Raven deserved happiness and could love both God and Teddy.

The book was a lot darker—not necessarily in actions but more in tone—than what I expected originally, especially with the type of character I had come to know Teddy as. However, I loved this book. It showed so much more depth to Teddy's character, and he may have just topped my list when it comes to my favourite Maldonado brother. I'm excited for more of the family's story, especially as this one brought Constantino to the head of the table, and if I'm honest, he's a bit of an ass, so I can't wait to see how the author redeems and humbles him in the future.

The chokehold this series has me in... 😮‍💨

Teddy is passionate and caring. His job in the family is to clean up crime scenes, not the most glamorous job, but once his brothers Primo and Giovanni have stepped away from leadership, it falls on his shoulders. He's navigating the best he can in a position he never really wanted.

Teddy was always a cute side character in the previous books. Always there for a good laugh and break in all the tension. To have a book completely about him was so much fun to read. I love his passion and comedy. I love that he tries not to take life too seriously, and I'm sure coming from the family he does that can't be an easy task. He keeps things light even when he meets Raven and discovers her darkest secrets. Rather than turn his back on her, he decides to help her and show her love in a way she's never experienced. I found their relationship very endearing and cute which I was not expecting from a Boston Bloodlines book. It was refreshing. The spice was there and definitely was good, but I think when they finally get together it's more sensual and loving rather than spice for spice's sake. Still very enjoyable, and I'm glad that Teddy finally got his own book to shine. I really enjoyed it! Looking forward to reading Constantino's story next. I have a feeling that one is going to be a lot more intense!

The very end of the book was great and I am interested in what is going to happen next with the family!

Thoughts 💭
I haven’t read the first books in this series, but if it anything like this one I know it’s going to be good. I absolutely loved it.

Raven - Got to say I have never read a book where the FMC is a nun but I absolutely loved this story line. Her past is so awful and heartbreaking but she showed such a great character development, she is so strong. I loved that she found the family she never had but deserved especially when it comes to Teddy.

Teddy - I loved him. Reading these types of stories, it’s usually a grumpy MMC. But honestly I loved Teddy personality. The youngest and is so cute and funny and a absolute sweetheart. He Is such a Teddy bear He a fresh character to the Mafia side, not read many with the job of a cleaner. I absolutely feel in love with his jokey and banter side. From reading this, he is definitely the favourites.

Loved this, it was so funny, fast, and emotional. I’m so glad I gave it a chance. Will definitely be reading the first ones and the next in the series.

Favourite Quotes 🗣️

~ “There's a deep burning desire inside of me to protect her. I can't explain it or why it's there."

~ “My darkness.”

~ "Raven, I can't imagine my life without you in it.”

~ “I know I call you Darkness, but it's because you're the force that makes me see the light."

Teodoro “Teddy” Maldonado may be the Prince of Sin.
But he’s also the reluctant King of the Maldonado mafia family.
He's the youngest of the brothers and never fathomed he’d one day rule the family.
Raven has always been a smart girl.
Top of her classs, pretty and only daughter to a rich couple.
But not all is as it seems with her.
One horrible night when she comes looking for Constantine for help. She finds Teddy instead.
The minute he sees her he knows something is horribly wrong.
And since he’s always been fascinated by Raven he takes it upon himself to help her.
What he finds is utterly shocking.
They spend 24hrs together and the next day Raven disappears.
Now thirteen years later and once again a horrible situation finds them face to face.
I adorded Teddy. He’s witty and funny. Happy go lucky and kind. Something unusual in his world.
I loved how he was so protective of Raven. Even when they were just in high school.
He felt this pull towards her from the minute he sets eyes on her.
Raven has been to hell and back. But she’s strong and her strength is inspiring.
She doesn’t give herself enough credit for the things she’s endured.
All she wants is peace and love. But she doesn’t know where to start.
So she’s finding solace in the wrong place for herself.
But Teddy is so patient and respectful of her and her needs. Of all the things she gone through.
And still dealing with. I loved that about him.
The hardships they go through just made their bond that just more stronger.
And their chemistry that just more intense.
I was really invested in both Teddy and Raven.
My heart is happy for both of them

Story - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5
Spice- 🌶️🌶️ 🌶️

Prince of Sin is the third book in the Boston Bloodlines Series. This is Teddy’s story. Teddy is the youngest of Maldonado’s boys and the sweetest of the brothers. He does not want to be the head of the family; however, his brother Primo and Gio have left the family leadership for personal reasons. They leave the leadership to Teddy who has never wanted this position. While cleaning up a site, Raven Kirland witnessed everything with the killing and cleaning up of killing Father Murphy. Raven is from the past of the Maldonado family. She dated Constatino, the oldest of the Maldonaldo boys and Teddy helped her out of a bad situation. Teddy always liked Raven even when she was dating his older brother. After she witnesses everything, Teddy grabs her and takes her to the mansion. Teddy feelings for her have never gone away and he makes sure the family can do no harm to her.

This story is about the angst that Teddy and Raven have for one another – the current and history complicate their journey to HEA. Raven is in the process of becoming a nun and her feelings for Teddy is confusing her. This is a slow burn story, and it is the heaviest story line of the series so far.

Then they need to deal with the Irish Mafia mess that created by Primo and Gio. This is where the challenge to Teddy’s leadership comes from internal forces. So, Teddy needs reach out to his older brother Constatino. Then the fun starts.

After reading the first two books in the series I couldn't wait to read Teddy's story and Ivy did not disappoint. After really liking him already I fell in love with him within the first three pages of the book. He had me drawn in from the beginning and I didn't put it down until the last words. Even though he and Raven spend such little time together in the beginning of their relationship the connection they share is so intense, strong and full of love. It made their reunion that much more special. I love the nickname he gives her. It was a little disheartening when he lost his trust in Raven and I'm glad that those problems got taken care of. After some indecision and inner turmoil the hea these two finally get is well worth the effort to get there. Teddy Maldonado will be added to my book boyfriend list.

"All that matters now is this moment, this connection between us that feels like coming home after a lifetime spent wandering in the dark." 🥰❤️
“When you have what we have, Darkness, one night is all it takes.”🥹❤️🥰
"I'll sleep next to you tonight, and every night if you want me to. I'll fight off those nightmares for you, I promise."🥰❤️😊
"My Darkness, my everything."😊❤️
"Want is such an insufficient word for what you mean to me. You're not just a want. You're not even a need. You are a compulsion. You consume my every thought. My every step. My every moment. When I'm with you, I never feel alone. When I'm with you, I'm home. When I'm with you, I'm at peace." 🥰❤️😊🥰❤️😊🥰
"Being with you means I'm already home." 🥰❤️😊

I am leaving my honest review for a complimentary copy of this book via the author.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie's Book Reports.

This is the story of Raven and Teddy. I have to go ahead and say that you are going to fall head over heels for Teddy. That man would be able to steal any woman's heart. He is smart, strong, and really funny. Deep down inside he is a really good person and I really got why Raven was so drawn to him. Raven is so strong. If you love a strong female character then you have found one in Raven. These two have a past and where the mafia prince saved the damsel in distress by helping her cover up something that she had done. It was to her the ultimate sin and she was the man who helped her cover it up before they went their separate ways. The night they shared together before she ran on him was the best night of both their lives. Now he has been given a job that he would never willingly do. He wants nothing to do with it really. But, it ends up leading his right back to Raven. But can he protect her and keep her save since she has seen things that she was never supposed to see and is now in extreme danger? You have to read and find out. I loved reading this book. I couldn't put it down. I have been loving this series so very much. If you have not read any of the book yet, you need to go and get them and enjoy all these amazing stories with me.

This is not your typical mafia romance story. I honestly don’t think I’ve read anything close to this.

Teddy is a happy go lucky individual who is forced to be the head of his family. He fell in love in high school and the girl disappeared. Since then, he never found the right girl and had playboy tendencies.

Raven had a horrible childhood and a not so great adult life. That is until she finds salvation in the church. She is in the process of becoming a nun thru the main part of this story.

Raven is the witness to Teddy cleaning up a scene in the church in which Raven lives. Teddy takes Raven in as a form of protection. Raven is the girl from his past that he can’t get over and he has a strong desire to keep her safe. Raven tries to resist Teddy, as she believes he is the reason she chose to live her life the way she did before finding the church. Teddy tries to respect Raven’s commitment to the church, but the attraction is too strong.

It was refreshing to see how these 2 characters find who they truly are, once they give into accepting love from the other. If you are looking for a book that has guaranteed HEA for the last 1/2 of the story, this is not for you. However, if you want a storyline that keeps you guessing until the end, I encourage you to read Prince of Sin.

ARC Review: Prince of Sin by Ivy Wild

Rating: 3.5 / 5 stars

Thank you so much @ivywildauthor and @valentine_pr_ for allowing me to read this ARC (a little after release date, apologies!)

- I recommend reading up on the TWs before diving into this one!

Third arc read of the year! I actually really enjoyed this book! It was my first Mafia Dark Romance read and it has definitely left me wanting to dive deeper into the genre!

I’m not used to reading such fast burns, so the MMC and FMC exchanging “I love yous”in the timeline they had, I was left cringing a bit. But maybe you’re into fast-paced love stories and the timeline is perfect for you!

Having it be my first mafia read, I wish there was more mafia-ness to it. I wish there was more mafia history and background with this alliance with the Irish and that their story was explored a bit more! Carmine’s and Enzo’s scene, I wish it was dragged out more mafia-y if that makes sense 😂 Most of the plot seemed a bit rushed and I wouldn’t have minded spending a few more hours reading a more developed story line!

All in all, it was a good start for me in this genre and it’s pushing me to pick up a few more! I really liked Teddy’s character’s evolution :) Raven was ehhh and hyped up by him a bit, would have loved a few more of her POVs to understand how her feelings for him developed a bit. But good read!

She is the beautiful girl who captured his heart before he even knew it was happening, the girl that slipped through his fingertips and he has regretted every day since... but now thirteen years later she stands before him, and all he can think is that it's their second chance. And he isn't about to let her slip away a second time...

Prince of Sin is an action-packed attention stealer that is bound to have you on the edge of your seat the whole way through. I knew Teddy's was going to be a little more special than the rest, that he'd have a story that hit different and I was not wrong at all. The man can be lethal when he needs to be, and sweet as pie a second later, especially if it has anything to do with Raven. These two were the perfect pairing, he helped her find her strength, protected her when she needed it, and loved her every single second... it was such a beautiful and emotional fall... one I won't soon forget.

Highly recommend you meet these two, they have a story that is bound to put an impossible squeeze on your heart, and leave you with a smile you can't shake. Definitely my favorite from the series to date!!

I requested an advanced copy of this title from the publisher, and I am voluntarily leaving my honest and unbiased opinion.

When Teddy walks into a job the last person he expects to see is Raven…the girl who disappeared. Yet here she is struggling beneath him as he tries to restrain her.
The last person Raven expected to see as she finished her evening prayers is Teddy…the guy who took care of her and saved her when she needed it the most. All she knows now is that she must run.

In Prince of Sin, we follow the story of Teddy and Raven. Teddy is trying to manage the family business while Raven has higher goals in mind. The author provides the readers with 2 different POVs throughout the story to develop each character. The reader is able to see what brought Teddy and Raven together and what subsequently tore them apart. I enjoy a multiple POV story but I would have liked to have the flashbacks to be more separated throughout the story to help build the suspense. However, those flashbacks as a vital part of Ravens character development. This book does have a good amount of spice and I would say that it is almost a slow burn…almost. Maybe mid-burn?

The pacing of this novel was a little slow for me but it did pick up when it needed too. I would recommend this book to someone who loves a second chance love story with mafia thrown in to keep things interesting. Please be sure to check the trigger warnings!
