"Alam kong may katabi ako ngayon pero hindi ko nakikita," sabi ni Lanie sa lalaking kaharap niya habang hindi inaalis ang tingin dito.

"Kung hindi mo siya nakikita paano mo nalamang may kasama ka?... Did you come here alone?" tanong nito. "Of course, when I say "alone" I meant you being physically alone."

"Yeah..." sagot ni Lanie.

"I didn't want to scare you—and I hope I am not scaring you—but I need to tell you that your companion seems angry at me."

"Ano'ng hitsura niya?"

"H-he's taller than I am."

"Probably six feet?"

"Yes. He's also lean and as I've said angry."

"Ano'ng hitsura ng mukha niya?"

"Ahh... iyan ang hindi ko masasagot."

Napakunot-noo siya. "Bakit?"

"All I can see now is a shadow, At mukhang wala siyang balak ipakita sa ibang tao kung ano talaga ang hitsura niya."

I got this book on a book box subscription. It could've been better. The story is okay, the execution/narration is not. Maybe this book isn't just for me.

I love it. At first, I was a bit hesitant to read this, dahil gabi na, and nabasa ko na rin yung excerpt sa likod ng book (try reading yung nasa back cover muna, mas exciting :D lalo na pag sa gabi. siguro, pwede na yung before 12mn). But buti nanaig ang curious-side ko kesa sa matatakutin-side.

This one is new to me. I'm not really a fan of paranormal stories na about sa ghosts, shadows, other side or spirits. Basta yung mga nasa ganung level. Ang kaya ko lang eh yung fantasy stories about vampires, werewolves, fairies, elementalists and witches :D

So for me, it's a good piece. Medyo naoverwhelm lang din ako sa infos about spirits and the other life na nasa story. I know iba-iba ang mga alam natin sa topic na yan; it's an interesting topic pero i'm not brave enough to know more about it :D

Gustong-gusto ko 'yung concept ng book na 'to, as in! Kaso medyo nakulangan ako sa execution ng kwento. Saka feeling ko mostly "telling not showing" 'yung naganap sa book. May mga technical errors din, pero 'di naman big deal sa'kin. Siguro mas maganda 'to kung naging pure English dahil mukhang mas maayos 'yung flow nung dialogues or narration nung English 'yung gamit. Ayun. Overall, magustuhan ko talaga 'to at mas naging interested pa ako sa concept ng soulmate (na favorite kong topic nung bata pa ako).. :D

This is one of my all time favorite book. At first, medyo natatakot ako. I am not really into reading books related to ghosts or spirits but I decided to buy it because the sypnosis caught my attention. It was scary at first, but as you read it, youll start loving the characters and it has a really cool plot twist. :D Thumbs up!
