I always liked Linda. I had no idea she had such a bad time a few years ago. I've lost a decade to mental health. She had such an intense time I feel so sad for her, I'm glad quitiapine worked for her, it made me sleep 18 hours and I used to go three walks a day ( to be thin, I wore my favourite red jumper but it was summer, I never really paid attention to seasons at that age, it was so baggy) and be so ill. Also I didn't know how repeat prescriptions worked at my doctors, which is quite funny considering it's obvious.
I will reread this. I love her tone, she's strong and honest. Linda's London seemed really cool. She's really homely and loves her family.

Wow - not what I was expecting
I listened to the audio version and hearing the emotion in her voice had me holding back tears at times
Really enjoyed this and finished it within two days of starting it

Having been on mainstream TV since the early 90’s you’d think we knew all we needed to about Linda Robson.

For the most part she’s lived a relatively normal life. So if you’re expecting tales of Hollywood or A-List celebrities you’ll be disappointed. But, if you love British Household names like Biggins and Lesley Joseph and TV shows like Birds or Loose Women, I think you’ll enjoy Linda’s recount of her life.

Linda has a great sense of humour which shines through in her recollections. It’s a warm memoir and Linda’s really honest about her feelings and the people around her.

I learnt a great deal about Linda and enjoyed reading about her family and upbringing, the behind-the-scenes stories involving Biggins and Pauline Quirk, and I enjoyed how refreshingly honest she was about money and fame.

A great read! Watched Birds of a Feather growing up religiously and always loved all the characters.

I really enjoyed Linda's story, especially how honest and open she was about her struggles with her mental health and alcohol. It's very refreshing when you get a real story and makes an interesting read for us nosy people.

This was Linda's story of her early life, her career and her private life. Really enjoyable read and funny in many places. She's had an interesting life and met some great people that's for sure. Well worth a read.

Great Read

Really interesting book covering a good slice of Linda's life. I say interesting rather than funny because she has been so honest about the darker times she went through which balanced nicely with the amusing anecdotes. Linda is a real family person who attracts people to her. She comes across as honest and caring and has never forgotten her roots. What you see is what you get. Well worth a read.

I’ve always adored Linda and also the other Birds girls. Birds of a Feather has been my go to comfort TV series over the last ten years of trauma and ill health so I was so keen to read Linda’s story.

Not only did I read her story I got to meet her too and she is genuinely the nicest, caring woman.

Her life story is such an interesting read. It is filled with sadness,laughter, happiness and surprises. I really enjoyed learning more about someone’s life who played a part in getting me out of my dark days. I thoroughly enjoyed this read and found out so much more than I knew before and the truth behind all the headlines.
