Their Lies, Our Lives

Rate this book
In an instant our lives can be changed just by opening a door. A single act that can break a trust, break a heart, and pull you into a web of lies. Binding you to the betrayal and the deceit.

She never wanted to believe he was cheating on her.
She never planned to catch him in an intimate moment.
She never expected the other woman to be his neighbor. His married neighbor.
She definitely never wanted to meet the other woman's husband. Even if by accident.

Miranda 'Randi' Shaw just wanted to get out of her car, out of her clothes, and into bed with her boyfriend, Chad Wingert. Not find him seducing the wife of his next door neighbor.

Jenna Timmons had a plan. She wanted a baby and her husband was not sharing her desire for a child. He still blamed her from before.

Luke Timmons was so tired of the arguing and he knew their marriage was treading water at best. What do you do when time doesn't heal?

Daylight slipped quietly into the arms of darkness as the dance of time is repeated over, and over, and over. Relationships are in turmoil. The good hearts are heavy with hurt. The evil hearts are cold and determined.

2.5 stars. Interesting little book. Good guys were really good guys and bad guys were heinous. A little too much happened that needed suspension of disbelief. However, if you acknowledge it, the story isn't bad. Married couple Luke and Jenna are having marital problems; Jenna is very selfish. She begins an affair with next-door neighbor, Chad - serial womanizer and cheater. His girlfriend Randi catches Chad and Jenna together. By happenstance, Randi meets Luke; they are drawn to each other.

Quite a bit of drama ensues and all of the characters end up getting what's coming to them.

hero is married and his wife starts a relationship with the next door neighbour, the next door neighbour already has a girlfriend, the heroine, but hd cheats on her all the time. hero meets herojne right after she discovered her cheating boyfriend and feels attracted to her, which was believable because he was in a unhappy marriage. they meet and spend time again through friends, which was kinda cheating on the hero's part but his marriage was already falling apart at this point.
I liked the story, it was sweet and easy going, and both hero and heroine were very likable. only min was that there was no deep emotions or angsty feelings, so if u want that than this is not the book for you.
