Ok I love the names chosen for the characters, I think they're so fun and they all have a certain theme. The Gamble family is such a riot, and I'm just realising Cassina & Spade's story exists and it came out before this book...might have to get on that too.

I absolutely loved this author’s writing style! 😩 It was grammatically correct and easy to follow. I never realized how much I’ve proofread other authors’ work as I read until I came across this novella. I could simply enjoy the plot, which made all the difference in my reading experience.
Speaking of, the plot was great too. It pulled me in right away. I was extremely invested in the characters and wished the novella was a novel because I couldn’t get enough of them. I wouldn’t mind a few spin offs for Nolan, Acadia, and Chinx.
I knew I would love this author by the end of the first page. Hart’s assistant’s name was MADELYN (spelled correctly and everything)! Lol, we Maddie’s don’t get enough love, I swear! On top of that, the female main character is from my home, New Orleans. It's not the stereotypical New Orleans shown in movies that only depict the bayou, food, voodoo, and Mardi Gras, but the authentic New Orleans! From Roulette’s phone number having the 504 area code to more subliminal things like the names- specifically, many of the characters were given first names relative to the culture and even had French last names (mine is Zénon), which made me smile while reading it.
It’s a fact that New Orleanians love their home, but the obsession some of us have with giving children names relating to the city is a quirk many don’t notice. For example, I personally know a Krewe, Crescent, Ca’Jun, Roux, Magnolia, and 3 Nola’s. The little things that the author included showed she actually did her research. I can’t wait to read more from her!

Alexa, play "Energy" by Beyoncé so I can match the vibe that Hart brings in this book. Hart embodies the saying “when you know, you know”, as he immediately recognized Roulettee as his forever. When Roulette needed his help, he effortlessly spun it in his favor - after all, what's the point of being a boss if you can't make boss moves? The chemistry between Roulette and Hart is deep and undeniable, making it impossible not to root for their victory. Hart's effort and thoughtfulness in planning their date was both admirable and sexy- it's always a pleasure to see effort put into a date. The sibling love portrayed in this book is heartwarming and I loved how Hart and his brother supported each other. I am eager to read the brother's book to see how he found his wife. The HBCU shoutout and the fact that the female main character was of Caribbean descent from New Orleans was the perfect icing on the cake. The mentorship aspect of the book was also a refreshing addition, however, I wanted to see more on page since it was the reasoning behind them meeting . While this was a short and fast-paced story that left me feeling satisfied, I can't help but feel that the author did not do herself justice by making it a novella. The characters had so much personality that they deserved to be fully developed in a longer book. Overall, I enjoyed this story and I am excited to read more from this author. If you're looking for a cute insta-love with a determined hero that will give you all the feels, I highly recommend picking this up.

Why did it have to end😭😭😭
Author Remi Ruger now done set the bar high with this one. I was so upset it ended, I’m legit screaming I need some more, lbvvs. This was my first read by this beauty and she did not disappoint.
Hart & Roulette were super cute. They were everything they didn’t know they needed. They both challenged the other to step out the their comfort zone, and watching their love blossom was enjoyable.
Spade & Cassina were an added addition, and I’d love to get their story in detail.
Nolan and his mom most definitely received an early Christmas blessing. They both deserved to see God show up and show out for them, especially his mom🥰.
So looking forward to Acadia and Chinx story. Cause sis needs a real man, and stop settling for pieces of a ninja who’ll only do right by your child if your opening your legs. Struggle alone, you don’t need that phuck boy holding you back. Your daughter will most definitely appreciate you for it.

An impressive inaugural contribution into my literary catalogue of authors and books. I enjoyed the banter between brothers Spade & Hart (oh, just realized the Vegas reoccurring symmetry! 🤭); Cassina, Spade and family; and newly booed up Roulette & Hart. Too adorable “will you be my girlfriend”😍‼️However, I’m curious what’s this books’ correlation and or relevance a “snowman”/snowman’s series ☃️⁉️

Spade told Hart he was going to be just like him. Bitten by the love bug. Hart didn't know what to expect when Roulette walked into his office, he thought he was going to write out a check. She blew his mind when she asked him to volunteer and he asked her to dinner. That was a win win for both of them. I should probably look into owning this story because I absolutely love Hart and Roulette!! Not even just them, I love the entire story.
From the very beginning I knew this would be a five star read for me! Imagine being in Hart's position OOOOOOOO yes, court her Hart and love her! Hart and Roulette's friends, family, and Nolan are the icing😭❤️🙌🏽😍

So glad I got to read about the gamble men. They easy became one of my favorites. Hart knew from the moment he met Beauty that he wanted her in his life. He was not afraid to show her and tell her either. Roulette was afraid at first to open her heart to hart but I'm so glad that she did because that man did not disappoint. So that they got the happy ending and Nolan did as well. Such a great fill good Christmas read.

Sweet Holiday Read
A sweet wholesome story with great smutty scenes. It's a little confusing because this Christmas series with the name snowman gives the impression that the MMC is involved with certain street activities but not in this one. His pockets are lined, but he isn't what one would expect to call snowman. The story felt like a slice of life, which is what a good novella should have you feeling.

This is my third read by this author, she has a forever fan in me! Roulette and Hart was an insta-love story was everything!! I think you left a little nugget on your next release, maybe a NEW Year book about the best friend and the chef!! I loved how they took to Nolan and his mom. I only hope that they can look into his brother's case. GREAT READ!!!

Couldn’t be any cuter!
I LOVED this lil novella! Starting out with everybody’s names, I loved how they all fit a theme and flowed. So creative. The book was only 90 pages so I won’t give and spoilers, but all I’ll say is READ IT!!! It was definitely worth it! I’d read a full length novel with ask these folk! And Chinx and Arcadia?!?!👀🤭

So Good!
I love Roulette and Hart!! I need more of them!! The connection they had from their first meeting already had me wanting to see what develops between them. Roulette and her giving heart wanting more for Nolan really made me love her character. I’m so intrigued about the back story of Hart’s brother Spade and his wife!! Definitely a great love story !!

Great Story!
This is an awesome story to read from beginning to end. It is very romantic and inspirational. When I read the story it played like a movie in my head, that captured my mind and secondly it ministered to my heart. I loved the flow of the story as well. Great Read! ReneeG.

Snowman??
This book felt more like a Christmas book than the previous ones but still fell short in regard to the snowman theme. K. Renee made up a city called Winter Crest and all her authors write about Winter Crest sticking to the theme. I can truly say that this book didn’t do that but it is a good read.

Roulette and Hart
This Christmas love story gave me all the feels, Hart and Roulette are perfect for each other..bonus points because I have a soft spot for basketball players. Helping Nolan and his mom pulled my heart strings, I was so proud.

One will never know the difference you can make in others lives. Hart taking the time to mentor Nolan changed his life around. Hart and Roulette had great chemistry from the beginning. This was a short and cute Christmas read.
