Lee Antona’s situation has gone from bad to worse. He’s managed to escape from the aliens Eral and Ronet, who wanted to use him as a vessel for their eggs, only to end up sold on the Dresht black market. Now he faces a terrifying future of endless breeding.

Lee didn’t know how good he had it with Eral and Ronet. They’d taken liberties with his body, sure, but they’d also coddled and pampered him and treated him like he was something special. And Lee threw that all away.

Frantic and frightened, Lee is desperate to escape his new captors and get back to the two Dresht who considered Lee their treasure. He’d do anything to be back home, safe in their arms.

Lee just hopes, if he gets a second chance, that Eral and Ronet will still want him.

Alien Clutch 2 is a dark romance that features a mindbreak HEA.

not nearly as engaging as the first book, but serves as a decent wrap up for the story. i feel like this could have been a lot shorter and tacked onto the end of the first book, or have a much more expanded beginning. 🤷‍♀️ the drama of it all feels too quickly over and done with

This is the final book (although there is an added extra if you sign up for Dove's newsletter) in a 3-book series. It cannot be read as a standalone!

Spoilers for book 1 Forced.

Lee escapes and ends up in a much much worse situation. Thankfully, the black market, shady building, three sets of couples ready to rape him, part of the story doesn't last long.

He's rescued by Ronet in a swoony movie style fashion. This book is about all three of them settling into their routine and family life, and more importantly, Lee embracing his life. What was once sweet and fluffy noncon, has now become consensual and fun. Who cares if it happens via mindbreak? Such a great series!

I don't know why, but the drone sent to help locate and rescue Lee cracked me up.

Highlights:

• There was no wealthy couple with a ship who had wanted a yshain of their own. That was obvious from the six strange Dreshtians in the room with him, all looking at him with dark, covetous eyes. Blindingly, painfully obvious.

• But the horror kept swelling inside him. He was going to live out the rest of his life as a breeding hole, at the mercy of who knew how many Dreshtians. There’d be no chance at freedom here, no opportunity for escape with so many hands to grab and hold him.

• His last thought before he fell asleep was that he hoped Ronet kept going. That he filled Lee up so he would wake warm and sticky and so full of them that no one could snatch him away.

• “SPECIES: HOMOSAPIEN. PLANET OF ORIGIN: MW- 957- 34.” The drone said in a toneless, robotic voice. “INITIAL BIOMETRICS SCAN MATCHES MISSING COURIER ID NUMBER: 01547- 469- 099. NAME: ANTONA, LEE HUGH. PLEASE SUBMIT TO RETINAL SCAN FOR POSITIVE IDENTIFICATION.”

• The drone sent out another red beam of light, clearly searching for him, and Lee dropped to the ground to dodge out of the way. He couldn’t let this thing scan him again. What would it do with a positive identification? Lee couldn’t let whoever was searching for him know he was here.

• It was faster than he was though, and Lee couldn’t avoid the next time it scanned the area, locating his body. It moved to hover menacingly right in front of his nose. “PLEASE SUBMIT TO RETINAL SCAN FOR POSITIVE IDENTIFICATION.”

• “PLEASE SUBMIT TO RETINAL SCAN FOR POSITIVE IDENTIFICATION.”

• Lee made sure that they knew he approved of this with happy little trills. The experience of being empty always felt so wrong now.

• The box was opened and Lee looked over the neat rows of jelly eggs. He remembered his nerves the first time, how afraid he’d been of the experience. Now all that was left was eager anticipation.

• Would they fuck him after this? When he was filled to the brim with eggs? He hoped so.

I'm glad everything I hoped for happened!!!

I was so relieved Lee got rescued! I was worried he would stay with his kidnappers for most of the story.

Lee gets his happy ending with Eral and Ronet and I love that for him. This ending was very satisfying but I'm a little sad there isn't more. An excellent read!

Told you it's a romance

I know not everything needs to be a romance and I know this is supposed to be a mind break but is it really? Does it count if Lee was never happy and always miserable to begin with? Is it really a mind break if Lee realizes that he's happier here than he ever was? I'm going to go with no. And it's not like there isn't a natural progression to the story. Lee doesn't just wake up one day and accept his situation. He grows to love Ronet and Eral as much as they love him. I don't know about y'all but where I come from we call that a romance.

There's not too much to say about the story because Lee gets rescued pretty early (thank God) and the rest of the story is just him living his best life with Ronet and Eral. There's a hefty dose of whump (look at me learning new words) but it fits the story. Was it the most exciting thing in the world no but because most of the character development was in the previous book this one got to focus on further in relationship and adding a little more world building. I just wanted to see some heads roll but we can't all get what we want.

If I mess up for liking this, fine. Judge me all you want, I've long since accepted who I am. This was some of the hottest smut I've ever read with real character development. It's paced exceptionally well, and above all, it was fun. What more could you ask for.

Book two baby lets go

After the cliffhanger that was the end of book one we get to see Lee having to deal with the consequences of his actions and the absolute mind break that comes after he is returned to Eral and Ronet. There's a lot less thoughts going on inside Lee's head this time and most of the book is Lee fully accepting his place with Eral and Ronet and working through his kidnapping trauma with copious amounts of sex and praise from these two aliens that are now the center of his world. Eral and Ronet are just as perfect as before and I loved seeing their protective side come out. It was short and sweet and a nice way to wrap up Lee's story with him finding his footing and flourishing as a yashin.

I will add that the extra The Falls after this that you get for signing up for the news letter is equally as wonderful and I hope we get to see Asher's story in full sometime in the future.

Mindbreak.

Uh, HEA mindbreak... I didn't think it was too happy of ending.
Smutty. 🌶🌶🌶🌶 4.5/5 in both novels. Heavily smut filled.
Third person pov.
Heavy BDSM in both novels.
Praise kink.
Threesome. 2 tops one human bottom.
It is like cushy non-con.

Lee was caught by slavers and sold to an alien planet where he was tested by the big, blue scaled aliens. He had to bear a clutch of eggs. Then he was sold to a couple. The couple bound and gagged Lee so much that they literally didn't have but maybe five conversations. All The smut was fine, all the praise was fine, but honestly how could Lee even like them having said a handful of words to them. They do not conversate with Lee, yet they love him..?? Kinda feels like they only love him for what he can do for them and the way Lee looks. It's kind of superficial. I don't think they even bothered to get to know Lee as a person. Which I am fine with non-con. But essentially this is smut erotica and Lee is a sex slave, a womb pretty much, and he escaped them only to have bad stuff happen, like what Eral and Ron did to him, they do get Lee back and then he just goes 'welp this is my life now'. His fight left so quick. I wanted him to able to say his peace. He doesn't.
Mindbreak for real. Don't expect them to carry on a conversation with each other. Oh, the aliens speak to one another, praise Lee, but Lee, nope not allowed to speak.
Still good though. Would read again for the smut value.

The motivation to finish this series was more to challenge myself more than it was that I enjoyed it enough to see Lee’s adventure through. By the end of book two, it’s obvious Lee is entirely brainwashed or is in actual love with his Dresht captors. The latter is the better of two evils since it makes all the subsequent scenes between the trio consensual, but it was a long opaquely dark road to get there. By book three the reader doesn’t see the benefit of Lee’s yearned for escape either, but Lee is ultimately in it for good time, not a long time. When he starts referring to his captors with the same affectionate terms as they refer to each other, it’s game over. The Dresht don’t know enough about human biology to take care of him in the long term despite a wealth of money, influence, and maybe even love. This book ends in the best possible terms for Lee given his circumstances, but it’s ultimately a story of extreme power play, infantilization, and sexual/procreational slavery. Reading this may exercise demons in a procreative-age person’s psyche, but the happyish ending and frequent smut ultimately wasn’t worth the tribulation suffered by Lee to get there.

3.5 stars. I recommend reading this book as a standalone, without reading book 1 "Forced." I read this one, which I liked, before reading Forced (intentionally), which I nearly hated. Read my review of Forced for my reasoning there. This review will focus on the book as a standalone.

It's hot. The sex is magical in the sense that there's very little prep for really large cocks, but I assumed Lee was used to the size from anal training or similar. The egg impregnation concept is super hot, damn.

The book could have used more POV, though. There were a few times that I wanted inside Eral's and Ronet's heads, but we never really get that.

Is this romance? Eh, in a way. It's mostly smut erotica, which is works well for. I could read it again for the smut.

Bondage and Eggs

Science fiction is my favorite genre and this book certainly checks many boxes in the alien-human-sex sub genre. I have to wonder if a human who was abducted and forced into a bound sub role would really eventually come to crave that life.
The majority of the book takes place in the alien’s luxurious home. The two Drescht who buy Lee from his abductors are unfailing kind to Lee in their own way, and seem to truly believe he was rescued’ from his life in the Courier Alliance.
I found the story interesting enough to finish it, and was pleased that the author wrote well.

I really liked that he fell fully into the Stockholm syndrome and for Ronet and Eral. I also liked that it was actually more beneficial for him instead of harmful to stay with them.
This story definitely had A LOT of smutty scenes, and it felt a lot like a daddies/little type story.
I gave this one one less star because it didn't have as much substance as the first. It was almost a retelling of the first, but from a content perspective now.

After the ending of book 1, I wasn't expecting this one to be sweet, it was a nice surprise. I loved the hurt/comfort elements and is it crazy to say this is like an HEA to me? Sure, there is mindbreak, but at least Lee is being taken care of and now he feels safe. I guess this book played with my mind as well.

The story is not storying that much, but oh well. It's written really well.
Do I think It's HEA? Yes, kinda. Am I happy there is TW, that It's not HEA? Yes! But Lee is happier than before, subjectively, so there’s that. I am happy he's happy. Even in that seriously messed up way.

and then there were even more eggs. and anal egg beads. there were near kidnappings and near escape, but the MC would rather be used as an incubator. Good for him, honestly.

Easier to read than the first

The first book was a rough emotional roller-coaster with the MC constantly unhappy and to human eyes treated like a pampered pet used for breeding. But in this book, the MCs mind had completely broken and he's 100% happy with his new lot in life. I'm pleased that the author split this into two books. As a reader, your brain need the break to separate the horror of the first book for the happiness the MC feels in the second.

This was a tough read, but I'm glad that the MC was happy in the end. As the reader, I feel both sorry for, and happy for the MC. He had to mentally break to be happy and he did.

Personally, I would have preferred a plot that didn't involve the aliens being "dumb" to the MCs initial fighting. But this is the book and for what it was, it was good, especially thus second book.

I won't be reading more from this author, but she's good so if you like this story I suspect you'll like her other works.
