Reading about Mia, River and Alex will never get old. In fact, I could read a thousand more novellas like this about these three, and it still wouldn't be enough. I was in the mood for a quick, spicy but sweet read and Miss Jessa literally said "hold up, girlie, I gotchu." And she delivered. I absolutely loved Rules We Break and I loved seeing JaxSidney and PiperLucas as well. Would def recommend y'all to binge this baby if you've read and loved ROO. Fair warning tho...keep your vibrators/your partners close by because this book was HOTTTTT😂🥵 Also, thank you to Jessa for being such a sweetheart and sending me a copy of RWB (because the zon was being a lil bitch per usual lol)🫶🏾

I wasn’t ready to say goodbye to Alex, River and Mia so this extended epilogue novella was exactly what I needed to quench my thirst. While I still don’t want them to be over getting one last hurrah was the cherry on top to this perfect throuple.

Picking up after the end of Rules of Our Own we fall into step in River and Alex and Mia’s lives as they navigate all being together. We get to see both Adam and River finding their step as boyfriends as well as Mia not only standing up for herself but standing up for her men as well. I didn’t think it was possible for there to be continued character growth and development as well as some of the hottest spice I’ve ever read in a 90 page novella but damn was I happy to be wrong. 

I love continuing to see River come into his own, Alex find his confidence and Mia encourage both of her men while maintaining being her true self throughout. These three are so special and wonderful and lovely and I need everyone to read them IMMEDIATELY.’

This is a little Christmas-esque novella follow up for Alex, River, and Mia (you kind of have to read their book first). It’s a lot of steam and minimal plot, basically filling in some moments between the last chapter of their book and the epilogue (like details because we know they happen).

There were some typos for a final published manuscript, like weary vs. wary.

It was overall, cute, but I was much more intrigued by the sneak peek in the back for the next book.

If you’ve read the holiday acotar novella then you know all about this book.

This is a short, cute, 🌶️, plot-free look into the holiday season featuring the Alex, River and Mia throuple. I give it two stars because, just like acofas, it’s basically just sex scenes and characters being happy during festive moments. I’m never going to turn away from a fluffy filler like this when I enjoy the rest of the series, but I don’t think books like this will ever be standouts for me.

I loved getting this little extended epilogue

I loved that we got this little extra fron my favorite group! I love Mia and her guys the way river is her calm and Alex is her sunshine . I love the love all three have for each other but I also love the love river and Alex have for each other as well as how much love they have for Mia separately. I am kinda sad their story is done but it was a great spicy ending!

I'm so glad we got a novella after the first book. It really felt necessary. I was missing some closure. The novella is filled with passion and has a minimal plot, essentially filling in the moments between the last chapter of their book and the epilogue, providing the details we knew would happen. And we finally got to see the switch between Alex and River!

I know this was a Novella, but it was not long enough. I loved every single second of it. Alex, River and Mia are just so adorable I would read anything with them in it. I am so in love with this story!
