In 2017, she earned her Bachelor of Science from Black Hills State University, majoring in Psychology and a minor in Sociology. After reading Origins of a Guild Master, I immediately had to read this next novella. Jade has just been accepted into the University for witches to become a healer. This is direct, hands-on learning instead of endless textbook studying. Her class is assigned a case with a shifter teen who is constantly in pain and no one can seem to figure out why. Tommie and their dad don't have too much hope that Jade will be able to help but Jade is very determined to not give up like every one else.

First of all, this story was absolutely, beautifully written. The stage is set and you're waiting to see how this plays out by very obviously rooting for Jade to be the one. I loved the interactions with Tommie and I felt every bit of emotion from all the characters. The breakthrough to the case had me cheering despite what came after and I just really, really hope we see Jade again in the future novel!!

I absolutely LOVED this novella! Again, the world-building was phenomenal and I can't wait to learn more about the magic system. It was such a great plot that was fully resolved by the end, despite the fact that it was a novella. I loved the FMC and was rooting for her the entire time!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This author introduced me to my first novella. And wow...just flew through this inspiring read. The cover is absolutely stunning to match the beautifully written story. This novella has the perfect amount of character development and plot. The author has captured my interest with her writing style, and I want to read more of her work!

Jade’s journey was compelling and inspirational. I love when she encountered Malachi. I will not spoil the story for you, but it was poignant. The novella comes out February 19th, mark your calendar! In the meantime, the background story (another novella) of Malachi is called Origins of a Guild Master and is heartbreaking and inspiring at the same time.

So glad I decided to read these novellas! They are so good! Quick reads, straight to the point with great world and system building. The author does a great job of giving you enough details on the characters and what’s going on around them to have you invested in their next move! Immediately meeting Jade, I know she was going to push the boundaries of duty and her heart, I was excited to see which would weigh on her and win! Also the author writing so you know these are all building up to something greater but not giving away to much details has me on edge lol! As an ending snob, I approve this cliffhangers!!! WHO IS THIS MYSTERIOUS MAN AND WHAT IS HE RECRUITING FOR!!! IM INVESTED! Read these books!!!

Jade spent her life working towards attending Witch's University where she would learn the skills necessary to be forever in service of others. At a young age she shows a strong affinity for healing, which her parents helped to nuture. At the University she is faced with making a life altering decision. Either follow orders or trust her magic and do what she believes is right. I found this story and Jade's abilities fascinating. I enjoyed seeing a character from another book in this series. The way the scenes and experiences are described is so immersing. I look forward to hopefully seeing where Jade ends up.

I received an ARC of Secrets of a Sagacious Witch and immediately delved into the world of Thaumoria. I don't read a lot of novellas and I really enjoyed this book.

Our protagonist, Jade, lives in the City of Witches where she attends Witch's University. As a student of Witch's University, she understands that she is doing what is believed to be the most selfless thing a Witch can do. Until she discovers something that matters more.

What I loved most about this novella was Jade's character. While she is one to abide by the rules, she's brave and determined to provide the most assistance to others that she can. She truly has a good heart. When she puts her mind to something, she sees it through fruition.

I am also in love with the worldbuilding. I read Origins of a Guild Master as an introduction to this series and was continually impressed when I began reading Secrets of a Sagacious Witch. A.M. Eno is incredibly skilled at placing her readers inside the world she created.

My only complaint is that it's not longer and I can't read the rest of the series yet.

This second novella continues to expand the world of Thaumoria.
We are introduced to witches, the University, and shifters that received a brief mention in origins of a guild master (speaking of which, Malachi has gotten a lot cooler, good for him).
I appreciated this short novel including the history and mythos behind the Witches.
Jade was an interesting protagonist and I enjoyed watching her navigate her internal dilemma and conflicts to do the right thing.
I’m excited to read more adventures in this world before taking on the Death Bringer

Jade is the witch/practioner we all wish we would one day encounter when we are in medical need. As a witch, she works toward her goal of being a healer and using her powers to determine ailments and create treatments. Her bedside manner and determination to find the truth of people's medical needs is admirable.

Eno is so good at creating a compelling story, world building and a main character you can't help but root for in such a short number of words. She makes sure all of those words count and that no character is unnecessary.

I’m quite literally obsessed w this universe and these characters. Each novella is a short story but I love the magic system. Here in this one, witches are healers and curers. They remind me of nurses and doctors. I’m so excited for her novel in October. Only reason this is 4.5 ⭐️ for me is, once again, I wish this were longer. Those 74 pages FLEW by! I hope the characters from the novella are present in the novel.

I thoroughly enjoyed this novella! I really like Jade and felt her character is so strong and feisty! I’m sure her character progression will gradually get better and better as the series goes on! Once again, world building was very well done in this short novella! I was kept intrigued all the way through, and am loving the subtle mentions of the other characters as well and how impactful they are to the main character of the particular novella!

This Novella had more world building than Origin of a Guild Master did, which was nice, I like slowly piecing together information about the world. Wonderfully Written

I love these novellas. They are fast paced with great writing that keeps me coming back for more. This novella focuses on the Witches of Thaumoria and the abilities they possess. When Jade is asked to complete a task, she sets her mind to it. Her love and abilities lead her to be one of the best characters I’ve ever read about!

Another beautiful novella from this author! This one was my favorite out of all of them.
This is the story of Jade, a witch who begins attending an advanced university to study healing and medicine. She is faced with a hard decision that tests her morals and puts her future at risk. By the end of this novella the story inside is concluded, but leads to an even larger story involving more worlds and characters.
I love the character development, the descriptions of the world and this authors writing just pulls you into the story. I can't wait to see how all of these novellas fit into the bigger picture together!

I'm not usually one for novellas. However, I am enjoying the author’s writing style. The storytelling is wonderful, and the magic system is interesting. I also enjoyed how we got to see a different magical society, but this was still linked with Orgins of a Guild Master. I like the world building andnlook forward to the next installment.

I loved that the witches are known for being healers but they also use traditional medicine.giving up on something when it’s hard was felt + made me so angry.

she knew she was right but old fuddy duddy assumed she made it up and couldn’t have solved it because no one could including them. the rules don’t always do what’s right, but she did. No matter the cost to her.

I knew it was him and he of course wanted some who wanted tot think outside the box b/c he knows shitty thing happen and trying to do things the “right” way doesn’t always work, sometimes you gotta break some rules to do the right things
