a short comic book style biography of Clara Barton, founder of the American Red Cross. I didn't find this one that interesting. The narrative is straight up biographical facts with some cheesy, stilted dialogue thrown in. The illustrations are fine. The people look like real people and not superheroes or something weird and they accurately show the background scenes as well. My complaint is this was too short to interested a tween reader older than 9 or 10 tops. It's perfect for a bit of sustained silent reading in the classroom and hopefully a jumping off point for kids to want to learn more but not something I'd spend my money on.
