I can’t lie the “stay tuned for more” was top 2 favorite things about this story lol cause I was already getting cranky and thinking of a good argument to get Alexis to give me a prequel. But my favorite thing was that this was a taboo romance that wasn’t bully or enemies to lovers and I’ve not had the pleasure of reading very many of those. And step sibling is by far and away the best taboo trope! My other favorite favorite thing was the way Hazel’s body is described in all its glorious fat detail, this is the second book I’ve read recently where the MMC likes to rub on the fupa and that’s a whole vibe. Outside of all the hot we might get caught sex this was really cute, too and I Really Really Really needed more!!

This was a quick and steamy holiday novella that I wanted to like just a bit more than I did, BUT the fat rep of both mcs was perfection. The way this author writes desire between fat bodies phew it’s delicious. The thing that was lacking for me was just the believable chemistry and the smut was pretty tame for a “taboo” romance. The dirty talk also wasn’t quite landing for me. I wish this was a full length novel!

This just didn't hit me how I wanted it to. There was spice, but it didn't feel fire-y to me -- more mechanical than passionate. I also did not believe in their emotional connection.

It's short, light, fluffy, and spicy, like everything wrapped into one amazing read.
As always, the way Alexis describes fat bodies is top tier, and the way they are described during spicy scenes is sublime.
The latine representation and queer representation is such a vibe
I love it when people just are, no explanation, no justification. People get to exist as who they are.

I enjoyed it and there were some v highlightable quotes but it fell short somewhere for me. It was just... good?
What I will say is that I loved(!) the double plus size rep and it's this that bumped my rating up a bit. Both MCs are described as having a larger figure and in the FMC's POV she describes seeing the MMC's stretch marks on his hips and arms and I loved that so much.
Healthy and positive plus size rep is so important because all bodies deserve representation in romance books and I appreciate that the author took the time to extend that to the MMC and normalised men having stretch marks too 👏🏻

69 pages of sexual tension that bursts into outright flames, hunny! 🔥🥵 (Made me wonder if that page count was intentional LOL) I enjoyed the tense buildup and them trying to be discreet with people literally EVERYwhere... This was a spicy quick read (69 pages). I was expecting the heat, but i was not expecting the sweetness of Cole and Hazel's relationship. Its taboo but they are just so perfect. Overhall a great holiday read that i devoured in one styong and just made me do happy ( especially with the mention of a nex part of their story to come.

Oh Holy Night
This was a cute Step Sibling romance of two people who have wanted and loved eachother for years but never knew of the others feelings. They don't let you forget that they are siblings by marriage but you still root for them anyway. It's fast pace and hot from the beginning. Gotta love a big girl getting what she deserves; love and devotion.

I'm usually hit or miss with step sibling books , but I couldn't get enough of this novella. This was such a sweet and spicy holiday read. I loved Cole and Hazel. Their chemistry was hot and I loved the mutual pining. I'm only sad there was more and I'm really looking forward to reading more of this couple soon.

Cole and Hazel are step siblings who happen to both want each other, and this holiday season, it's about to take a spicy turn.
It was a good little read that I enjoyed. Loved that Hazel is a plus size girly!!!! I recommend this read.

This novella is a real delight, it's cozy and familiar, since the story takes place in the family house on Christmas days, and at the same time it's EXTREMELY HOT, I've spent the whole story giggling, blushing and kicking my feet. Hazel and Cole are so confident which made the tension and teasing between them much more intense. It's one of those novellas that hits different because they seem like entire books.

Now I’m not a fan of stepsibling romance, but this was done well. Cole said he wasn’t going the whole weekend without getting a piece of Hazel. I absolutely love plus-size rep!!! I eat that up each and every time. Can’t wait for the next part of their story.

If you go into this book knowing it is supposed to be a spicy cute holiday read with not a ton of plot, then of course it's a 5 star- it delivers exactly what the author intended. Doesn't take a lot of brain power to read. It's cute, fluffy, spicy and a super quick read!
