This is a biography of Lionel Messi that is accessible to readers from probably middle school and up. For adult readers, it is an informative, quick read. For everyone, it has amazing digital illustrations that make the book pop.
The "life lessons" promised in the title are pretty vague, but they work well enough. Messi is a good role model for humility, loyalty, and commitment to family, faith, and country. Throughout his life, he has taken actions consistent with his values, and he has tried to make positive impacts on his teams, his family, his country, and the global community.
This book has shown me that Messi is a more inspiring figure than I gave him credit for. I took notes on a couple examples from the book that I will use with a lesson in my business class.
I purchased my copy of this book from Morgenstern's Books in Bloomington, IN. It will make a fine addition to my classroom library!

A good little introductory book to the life of Messi. Probably helpful for a teenager thinknig about their life ahead and learning some great practical life lessons from one of the greatest to ever play the World Game.
