Not feeling the story. There was no build-up; it was insta-lust. They never even talked about STD status and went bare, even though they've only known each other for no longer than 20 minutes. Also, not a fan of the dom/sub trope, it's just not my thing.

I thought that this was a very enjoyable, OTT, quick read. I wish I could have stopped myself from thinking that Ellie was not the sharpest tool in the shed. I mean, I know things were dire and she was in a horrible situation but the best idea she could come up with was to steal from the Mob??!!! Luckily, since this is a short book with a story that moves fast, I didn't really have time to get hung up on that pet peeve. Excitement, danger, action, kink, suspense, romance and lots of steam combine to create a fun read. I'm electing to post a frank review.

meh..
the start was good but then the story went flat,they only had sex and a few change of words...
then she was kidnapped by her ex which abused her for 2 months and the fact that the author didn't let us know exactly what happened down there didn't help at all...and well i'm pretty sure that she was raped and that ruined the story for me, i hate the fact that they didn't connect properly ,i hated the fact that he didn't find her sooner, i hated the fact that they say i love you based on nothing...i wasn't into them unfortunately , i wished more from it, but even tho, the fact that he saved her to late ruined it all anyway...

Out of the frying pan
This book starts out fast and furious and the story just keeps moving. You can see how the author has mingled the different stories together, but still keeps this one independent. I was a little bummed that we didn’t get to see Bruce punished for his treatment of Ellie, but at least we got to see Leo and Ellie find their HEA. I look forward to the next book by this author.

Guess I was in the mood for an over the top Mafia Romance! While I didn’t like the fact that Ellie was dumb enough to try to steal from the Mafia, I mean who does that? It made her seem like a dumb brainless bimbo, especially since she didn’t have any particular skills at being a thief!
Luckily, this was an over the top romance so when Leo was called in to deal with her (of course she was caught red handed) he fell head over heels in lust with her.
Happening quick enough in the story which moved fast enough from Ellie’s lame brained theft attempt, the author focused on their instant attraction and growing relationship despite all the Mobster barriers.
Loved that this storyline focused on their over the top attraction with super steamy scenes. Enough drama to bring out Leo’s alpha protective for Ellie that was intense and romantic. Lots of brutal violence and abuse inflicted on the Ellie, Leo, and Kane. They fought and survived like super heroes which pushed past the reality boundaries but made for great entertainment.

This is a fantastic story! I couldn't put it down. I was swept into the action from the first page. I can't wait to read more by this author.
Ellie knows that she shouldn't steal from the Romano Family but she is desperate. She is caught but instead of getting killed, Leo decides a different kind of punishment for her. Leo knows that he has broken a major family rule but he can't seem to stop wanting Ellie. She takes his punishment gladly. When he discovers that she needs protection, he doesn't hesitate to step in. Will he be able to keep her safe?

Not a fan of the H
Her Mafia Boss is Book 2 in the Romano Mafia Brothers series by Bianca Cole. I am not sure what to say about this book as there were just some creepy and to me stupid things with the characters. But there were also some nice things about the story-line. I think it will be up to everyone reading this series to decide if they like the H, Leo, or not. Personally myself I am not a fan because to me he does not seem like he really cares and will de anything to keep Ellie, the h, safe and protected. Instead he takes he own sweet time to rescue her. Plus the book suggests that she has been tortured, abused and raped for several months. The ending was a bit rushed and abrupt to me also. Not that I want the book to have been a lot longer but I think there were could have been a bit more wrapped up by the ending.
For me this book was a let down but I do have hopes that the next book in the series will be better and I will like the characters and story-line better.

Bianca did a great job! This was a nice quick read.
Ellie was in an abusive relationship with a drug dealer & he thought she stole from her. So she thought she could steal from a big Mafia man. Little does she know that Leo finds out & instead of killing her like he would to anyone else who stole from the Mafia he punishes her with Hard core SEX. She loves it. It is something she craves. Leo saves her from two drug dealers & takes her to his home to save her from their abuse. Instead of keeping her at bay he is falling for her. The hard mafia man falls for the girl who stole (but was caught) from him. She stole his heart in the process.

This story was supposed to be all big, bad mafia, but I think it's a cutesy love story involving a soft-hearted (don't tell Leo I said that) Mafioso underboss and Ellie. It's a fast-paced story, with some intense chemistry that sucked me in. I really enjoyed this story and I look forward to reading more of the Romano crime family and seeing all the men fall for the women that complete them.

I am loving this series. Insta-love is all the rage and neither Leo nor Ellie are immune to it. This one is a little darker than the first book but it is absolutely awesome and leaves some unanswered questions that will hopefully be answered in the next book.
The timeline for this installment overlaps Her Mafia Daddy so you really should read them in order.

This was a great second book to the series. I really love how moments and conversations between characters from the first book merge into this one with the other characters pov. It truly blends and flows seamlessly. It’s an insta love kinda read, so know that going in you won’t get a lot of tension before it happens.

Insta-love story with a whole lot of steamy moments!
When Leo is called in to deal with a thief, he isn't prepared for Ellie Russo. This little thief brings out his dominate side like no other woman ever has. Instead of punishing her with pain, he wants to take her in hand and give her a punishment in pleasure instead.
Ellie is desperate enought to steal from the mob and when she gets caught, she knows it's the end of the line for her . . . except she didn't count on Leo Romano. One look , one dominant command from him and she's a goner.
If you like strong alpha men with a kink for domination, power play and spankings, this book will be a hit :)
I really liked it up until the abrupt kidnapping. I thought the separation was too long and kind of slowed the pace of the story down. The fact that neither the characters or the reader really knows what happened during that two month lapse didn't help either. Overall a good quick read that I'd definitely recommend for the smexy times alone :))

Desperately in need of a literate proofreader
Second in the series and I would have enjoyed it more if the read did not keep irritating me. There were long, irrelevant and very wordy sentences along with too many grammatical errors. I ended up feeling the author had never learned how to use grammar/spellcheck. A good proofreader would have deleted quite a bit of the nonsense and corrected the numerous errors. Sadly this author did not seem to make use of either a proofreader nor a grammar checker.
If you don’t mind such issues, enjoy. As for me, it made this read less than enjoyable.

This book is suspenseful, romantic, and an extremely great read. This is Ellie and Leo's story. Ellie is in a bad spot with her ex-boyfriend and thinks she has a solution. But when things go wrong she is caught up in a deadly Mafia game. I loved the characters and the happily ever after. I cannot wait to read Rick's story next.

This is the second Romano Family book and is just as good as the first one. This one centres on Leo - the enforcer and Ellie - the thief. A great insta-love sexy book and a good action story to go with it. Poor Ellie, what she went through. Violent i n parts and action packed. A good suspenseful read. Cannot wait to read the third.

This is the second book in the trilogy and I loved every second of it. The storyline is well written, faced paced and keeps you on the edge of your seat. I can't wait for book 3.

Get Ready for Sexy Time
This book wasted no time getting right into the hot and steamy. I’m thinking “Oh no! It’s going to one of those lame books where they have sex in the first 20 pages of the book and the story is all down hill after that” Cue - eye roll 🙄. Wrong! Not what happened at all.
Yet again the author has proven themselves to have a good plot with a strong storyline that brought it all together and kept me on the edge of my seat till the end. What a shocker! In a novella?! Really?!
This is a two part novella too! Last half was action packed and graphic - the border run - the car crash 😱. Of course, the story is a bit rushed, not a heck of a lot of build up, etc. It is a novella after all. Yet I was engaged and waiting to see what was going to happen next. I wanted more.
The author continues to impress me with that they get done in a novella. Author has a talent for writing light reading novellas with just enough depth in the storyline to keep it entertaining (and sexy 😉) and depth of characters to either love em or hate em.
The storyline was solid, I did not find any inconsistencies and did a fantastic job of tying in Book 1 and the characters into this book which just added depth to this story. Excellent technique layering books/stories to add depth.
With that being said, the books are stand alone, no cliffhangers, and you don’t have to read the books in order, but I recommend you read them in order.
If I had to point out a negative or two - in this series (this is Book 2) - is these guys cannot be that good at being mafia bosses if the “bad guys” keep sneaking into their compound and stealing “valuable” things because they keep getting betrayed by people in their inner circle. Sounds like bad mafia management team, maybe they should get some HR training and services with a 360 management review program. 🤪
And one other thing I felt was a let down in this book was.... Oh! Sorry can’t tell you without it being a potential spoiler 🤷🏻♀️. I can live with it, but really?! Come on! The guy in Book 1 got his dues. 🤨
Other people may disagree with my review and I may have low standards from reading too many crap sexy romance novellas, but I have read six of this author’s books and have enjoyed all of them.
Editing is great. A few grammatical errors and a few misspelled or misplaced words, but overall a pleasant read.

A decent second book in the series. These Romano brothers sure are sexy! This one is about Leo, who is the youngest of the Romanos.
I like Leo. He's very dominant and sexy. I loved his interactions with Ellie and seeing him fall for her. Like Kane, he's definitely not as rough around the edges as some of Bianca's other MMC's from her other series', but I still like him.
Ellie was alright, if not a little dumb at times. She makes some stupid choices -- starting with stealing all that money from the Romanos (even if she is desperate). But I mostly liked her and she wasn't annoying.
I did like how she fit with Leo really well as far as Dom/submissive dynamic goes. I don't always love that in romance, but it wasn't overdone here and I liked how it was presented between these two.
The plot is more interesting than Kane's book. Some of the plot does overlap that book, which was a little repetitive, but I guess it's good to recap for those who aren't reading them back to back.
But once we get beyond the timeline of Kane's book, things get interesting with some potential traitors in their midst. And a brewing war with a rival mafia -- the Juliano Mafia. I'm interested to see where that all goes in Rick's book.
Overall it was a good book. Maybe not mind blowing. But entertaining and steamy. I enjoyed it.

The second book of the Romano Brothers is all about Leo. He is the youngest brother and he is fierce, loyal, dedicated, & very sexy. I just wrapped up reading the second installment in the Romano Mafia Brothers series, and if you’ve enjoyed the first book (and by the way, who hasn’t?), you might find that this follow-up offers a similar vibe, with an engaging storyline that, while familiar, still managed to keep me turning the pages.
The core of the story mirrors the tried-and-true formula we've come to love: our rugged, charming brother finds a girl, faces challenges that drive them apart, and then works to win her back. It’s like a rollercoaster ride of love and drama, which sometimes feels a bit predictable, yet is also comforting in its familiarity.
What I appreciated about this book was the way the characters remained relatable. Ellie sure has been through hell and back. She is a strong woman who refuses to be broken down no matter what life throws her way. Leonardo is a possessive and alpha dominant male who is a underboss for his family's mob empire. His brothers also run the leadership of the family's mob. The way they met was under a situation that Ellie could've easily not survived from. But the heart will call to you letting you know when you meet someone. Their attraction to each other is explosive to put it mildly. You have to read for yourself to see how this love story ends.

Her Maia Boss is the second installment in Bianca Cole’s Romano Mafia Brother series. In it, she chronicles the romantic journey of Ellie Russo and Leo Romano. Leo is the youngest of the Romano brothers and possibility the most cruel one. His father was ruthless as a crime boss and father. Like his brothers, Leo is an alpha male who is dominant and strong yet vulnerable due to emotional scars. Ms. Cole does a remarkable job with literary devices such as dialog, point of view and descriptive language. Her dialog is solid. Their internal dialog gives readers a glimpse into their true struggles. The dual point of view further endears readers to these two. The descriptive language makes the scenes vivid. Together these devices move this plot along and a smooth pace.

A história do Leo e da Ellie é um pouco parecida com a do Kane e da Jasmine. Neste livro, vemos um casal diferente e traumas e situações diferentes.
A timeline das mesmas até acontece ao mesmo tempo, por isso é que no primeiro livro, vemos um pouco deste.
Achei que havia temas que a autora poderia ter explorado um pouco mais, mas também não fiquei insatisfeita com a maneira como ela os abordou.
O Leo e a Ellie são personagens muito parecidas, quase como almas gémeas, e isso torna a conexão deles muito bonita.
Estou muito curiosa para ler a história do último irmão, o Rick, e perceber como a autora encerra está coleção.

The writing could use a little work. Put more emotion into it. Editing definitely needs to be done as there are words that don't belong in sentences. Some words look like auto correct got ahold of it and changed the word that is suppose to be there. Another thing that kind of annoys me when reading a series, is the same wordings are in every book. Change it up for each story. Yes the brothers are obviously going to think alike but don't repeat phrases. That's just my opinion though. Definitely enjoyed the story line. I did read all three books in the series. I felt the last book had the most emotion

1.5 stars because the quality of writing is superficial; also because this story has a lot of wrong words used in it; example, 'word' for 'work' which is sloppy proofreading. I laughed when Leo 1st sees Ellie and now understands what happened when Kane 1st saw Jasmine. As Kane & Leo are off dealing with the problem in #1 story, another group of bad guys breaks into their mansion and takes Ellie. Seriously?!! These are the biggest Mafia bosses on the East Coast and people can just break into their mansion? No guards at all. Not believable. Also, they have a lot of traitors in their organization. Not enough character development for me to believe their love story.

She risked stealing from the Romano mafia because of her ex, stupid move but best thing that ever happened to her in the long run. Her life is threatened, she was kidnapped which he finds her in their enemy territory and gets her out which he saves her but him and his brother are hurt and saved by their brother. Good chemistry between them as they understand one another. I give this book 4 cups of steaming Java. ☕☕☕☕. I am definitely looking forward to more action with the last brother of the mafia.

I don’t know why I keep doing this to myself! I guess I wanted to see if the stories would get better, but somehow this one was so much worse than the first one 😭. I mean, you have insta love and then you have whatever this was. At the very least make them have a proper conversation before they said that they’re in love. And we didn’t even got to see him properly avenged her, I suppose it appears in the next book but still, I wanted to see him do it here… in their own book.
