He’s a giant of a man who grunts for words and barks out orders, yet circumstances require I be his fake girlfriend and spend the weekend with him in an isolated cabin. And of course there’s only one bed. Just my luck…But I need this commission check that only Boston can guarantee me. So I hike up the mountain ’til I can’t feel my legs, eat questionable canned beans for sustenance, and vow to simply ignore him for two days. What I didn’t count on was a freak blizzard to lock us in the cabin for a bit longer. I also didn’t expect to discover that beneath all those muscles and long hair and smoldery looks, Boston has a soft heart and a sad past that makes me itch to fix it.And of course we have to snuggle to preserve body heat. My luck is turning…We find more—ahem—creative ways to pass the time, and holy snowstorm is Boston creative! We both know this charade ends when we get off the mountain, so we use our time together wisely.Turns out there’s one final he’s my best friend’s estranged brother. Yep, my luck has officially run out…Home is Where You Park It is a steamy romantic comedy between the bossiest big boy hero and the one woman he shouldn’t want because she’s his little sister’s best friend. It comes as a stand-alone, complete with a one-bed situation while snowed in, a fake relationship with benefits, a gaggle of friends who hold no prisoners, and all the sizzling banter you’d expect from an enemies to lovers trope. This romance ends with a spicy hot and perfectly sweet happily ever after.

Well hello, Bossy Beast Boston. *heart eyes*
This was such a fun and sexy read! It had all the feels I love and made my romance lovin’ heart so happy. The fake relationship trope is one of my favorites and this one was done perfectly. Add in ‘only one bed’ and this romance reader was one happy gal.

I couldn’t wait for Audrey’s story. I knew her story was going to pull at my heartstrings and make me all sorts of happy. With the brothers she has, she was bound to be completely lovable. Her quirks were adorable and I couldn’t love her any harder if I tried. Her harmonica playing (or her attempt thereof) was hilarious. Boston’s reactions to all of her idiosyncrasies was altogether hilarious, cute, and endearing. His grumbling and growling just made him all the more irresistible.

He is so perfectly grumpy and uses more grunts than words, but somehow he is still sweet and sexy AF. And does he have a heart of gold? YES. HE. DOES. Boston is one beast I’d like to get stranded in a cabin with. Audrey’s quirkiness and sassiness are the perfect complement to Boston’s broodiness and grumpiness.

Boston the Beast can boss me around any. time. And he can also take care of me while keeping me safe when we’re snowed in a cabin in the middle of nowhere with nothing to do but be very, very close to each other. I’d have zero problems with that. *waggles eyebrows*

This well-written story is a perfect example of why I love to read RomComs. Home is Where You Park It is utterly delightful, plenty delicious, and full of charm galore. I was constantly smiling or swooning or both. I couldn’t have picked a better book to start off 2024 with.

A steamy anonymous encounter turns into hate-at-first-sight when Audrey learns who the mountain of a man that rocked her world is when he’s not knocking her socks off. But Boston doesn’t have a lot of room to quibble considering the grief he gave his sister for doing nearly the same thing as he just did. They didn’t succeed, but these two tried really hard to break my heart. From Boston’s belief in his own relationship inadequacy to all the drama surrounding Audrey’s male DNA contributor. (That man is so far from being a “father,” I refuse to use the word to describe him.) However, I fell in love with these two as they fell for one another. Their chemistry sizzled off the page and it pulled them together no matter how hard they tried to resist. Now that we’ve seen one more pair happily coupled up, I can’t wait to discover what’s going to happen next.
I received a complimentary advance copy of this book from the author.

Boston and Audrey - swoons, growls, and love

I loved, loved this forced proximity, snowed in, opposites attract, just a fling, brother’s best friend romance of all the tropes, all the hilarity and all the big feelings. And the acronyms - EFRRWAB for the win! Boston is a growly, loner, lumberjack of a man who has recently been discharged from the military and has come to Blueball to try to repair his relationship with his sister, Keva, who recently married his best friend, Lincoln (book 2 in the series). Audrey is a perky and optimistic real estate agent who is best friends with Keva. She also has some family drama and pain of her own. When Boston gets help from Audrey with a real estate deal that will benefit Keva and Lincoln, things get twisty and tangled between the two of them pretty quickly. A freak snowstorm and a washed out bridge cause a bunch of unplanned alone time for Boston and Audrey and soon feelings start to try to push through the fake part of their relationship. But to get to their HEA, they’ll have to take some big leaps of faith while both doing major baggage unpacking. These are my favorite kind of angsty moments - screw up because of your past and then fix it out of hope for your future. This heartwarming and hilarious story was well written and included witty dialogue, three dimensional characters, and an engaging storyline I am loving the town of Blueball, the chosen families, and its stories.

The main characters made their first appearances in the Hellman Brothers series (Audrey) and in the Blueball Band of Brothers series (both) but meet for the first time in this new book not knowing who the other is.
Boston‘s the silent grumpy type while Audrey‘s the sunshiny peacemaker.
To be able to by some land the have to pretend they’re dating and spend a weekend in a cabin up the mountain.
Of course they get stuck as a snowstorm surprises them in the cabin and of course there’s only one bed.

Read for yourself this amazing story!
Couldn’t put it down!

Home is Where You Park It by Marika Ray is a delightful and entertaining read for anyone who loves cars and enjoys a well-crafted story. The novel follows the journey of Allan, who inherits a 1969 red VW bug from his uncle and embarks on a cross-country adventure with his best friend, Sam. The trip allows them to connect with their past, find love, and uncover unexpected truths about their families.

The story is built around car rallies, which adds a unique twist to the road trip genre. The authors' passion for cars shines through the narrative, making it an enjoyable read for car enthusiasts.

Allan and Sam's journey together forms the core of the story, and their relationship drives the narrative. The side characters, including Allan's mother and Sam's grandmother, also play significant roles in the story, adding depth and complexity to the plot.

The novel explores themes of loss, love, and the importance of family, making it a heartfelt and emotional read. The author's writing style is captivating, with a good balance of humor and emotion. The story is well-paced and engaging, keeping readers invested in the journey.

In conclusion, Home is Where You Park It is a fun and engaging read for car enthusiasts and anyone who enjoys a well-crafted story. The novel offers a unique take on the road trip genre, with a focus on car rallies and the emotional journeys of its characters. I highly recommend this book for those who enjoy stories centered around cars and the bonds they create.

Boston is a big mountian of a man who has come home from the military to try to fix his relationship with his sister. He's a growly bear who not only loves to growl, but grunt as his second language LOL! Audrey is his sister, Keva's best friend who has a sunshine outlook on life, and it turns out they have to play at a fake relationship for a couple of days for some business. They're supposed to stay at cabin together for a weekend, fate has a hand in keeping them together for a bit longer with a snow storm, and let's just say, they figure out a way to pass the time LOL! I loved every interaction between these two as they made me laugh a ton with their fun interactions, and the sparks were definitely flying crazy. There's also an emotional aspect to it because he has some issues that were keeping him closed off, but fate is smart, and paired him up with the perfect woman. Will they see that at the end of their stay at that cabin?! You'll have to experience all this goodness for yourselves to find out! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I recently discovered Boston is more than just a place with a bar there where everybody knows your name that you want to get to know. Boston is also a name of a guy that you definitely want to get to know and discover everything about him. That is if you can survive certain conditions of his!
Audrey, just happens to be the person who gets to know Boston in a very unique way, under very unique conditions.
That’s all I’m saying. I don’t do spoilers and believe me you don’t want me to. You need to enjoy all the witty banter, steam, name calling, situation dynamics that need to be resolved and the story itself for yourself. If you read the book before this one you’ll get the answers you’re waiting for. If you haven’t, don’t worry, you won’t be lost. However, you’ll definitely want to go back and read the first book in this series.

There’s a song from the 70s that says please come to Boston. In a weird way the lyrics kind of fit. Believe me if you read this book you would definitely come to Boston as fast as possible!

Book three in the series can be read as a standalone and ends with a HEA. It is written in first person from an alternating dual POV.
Readers heard about Keva’s brother, Boston, earlier in the series. After meeting Audrey in the Hellman brothers series and getting to know her better in this series, I was really looking forward to her getting her HEA. I adore the relationships she has formed with Nikki and her half-brothers. She has been such a good friend to Paisley, Keva, and Marlo. I love her kind heart, her bright personality, and her willingness to try new things even when she isn’t very good at them. Boston has recently separated from the Army and has returned home to mend his damaged relationship with his sister. I really loved that he was willing to do anything to get his relationship with his sister back on track.
Together, Boston and Audrey are fun and fiery. The attraction between the giant of a man and the pixie of a woman was hot and instant. When they get snowed in, neither one is overly put out to do what they needed to do to stay warm. I loved Boston’s fierce protectiveness of Audrey. I adored the way she helped him open up to the world of possibilities by being vulnerable. Funny, steamy, with the right amount of feelings: this is what rom-coms are made of.

Could this series get any better? Once again Ms. Ray has given us a delightful storyline full of fun, laughs and romance. The storyline is well written and I simply adored it. It’s a story about a grumpy, bossy hero (Boston) who just happens to be Keva’s (from the prior book) brother and Keva’s best friend, Audrey. However Boston and Audrey don’t realize the connection at first. Their attraction to one another is off the charts and when they get snowed in well let's just say things get hot and cozy in order to “stay warm”. Their banter was so much fun to read and their story brought a lot of smiles to my face.

I highly recommend all the Bluebell Band of Brothers books including this one. Grab them up and prepare to laugh a lot. You won’t be sorry.

Who knew when Keva's brother, Boston rolls into town, he would end up at a bar and having a moment in the back hall with a mystery woman. Boston is done with the military and it's now time for him to fight for his family. The sister that he left behind and the family she started without him knowing, proves that he has a lot of work cut out for him, but he is up to the challenge. The mystery woman turns out to be one of his sister's best friends and that just makes things a bit more awkward as Audrey isn't what he needs right now, but if it will help in his quest, then he can make her his fake girlfriend to get things done. But we all know how the fake gf thing goes, doesn't stay fake for very long. How will that work with Boston's goal?

It's finally Audrey's turn!! Not gonna lie, but ever since I learned her story in the Hellman Brothers series, I have been itching to get my hands on hers. I am so beyond grateful that we got this story! We get some really great drama, naughty bits that had me fanning my face, and quite a few laughs. I can't wait to see what happens next in this series and give this 5 stars.

Loved this newest addition to the Blueball Band of Brothers series, literally didn’t put it down till I finished it! The differences between Audrey’s and Boston’s personalities and demeanor come thru crystal clear, and those differences would have you think there’s no way these two could end up in a relationship, but those quirks somehow manage to balance the other despite Boston’s plan on how he wanted to live his life, with extreme minimal contact with other humans lol. Alas, the chemistry is too strong between them and things just don’t play out the way Boston wanted and that made for an entertaining story.

I loved getting to read Boston's story as he wasn't on Keva's good list lately. I loved that he was paired with Audrey who seems to have become her half-brothers' princess and the daughter Nikki never had. I loved that she was like naughty librarian at night and buttoned down professional during the day. I loved her and Boston's steam filled first meeting and I loved the caveat that helped get the two to spend a little time together. It was a little fake, a little forbidden and a lot of steam and rugged mountain military man. It was fun, just as Marika Ray's stories are.

This author just keeps getting better with each book she writes. This book features Boston and Audrey. They first meet at The Tavern and enjoy some steamy times. Unknown to Audrey, Boston is the estranged brother of her best friend, Keva. Boston calls Keva Annabel. Boston has come to make amends with Keva, but we know how stubborn she is, lol. I won’t leave any spoilers, but if you enjoy a good steamy story with family and friends butting in, you won’t be disappointed in this book.

I received an advanced reader copy of this book and this is my voluntary and honest review.

Chemistry everywhere!
The Blueball series is delightful. Seeing the returning characters and also the Hellmans, good stuff
Audrey has daddy issues and knows what she wants out of life. The American dream - husband, kids, white picket fence life.
Boston has come to town to fix his relationship with his sister. Nothing else. He’s a loner in the extreme and okay sleeping in a tent.
Meet cute in a bar; steamy back hallway scene.
Very cute developing story with all the Blueball and Hellman characters.

A great, fun read from start to finish! I enjoyed how this book mixes lightness, sweet, and spice, with the rebuilding of a relationship between an estranged brother and sister. Boston and Audrey have some amazing chemistry right from the beginning! Add in a fake relationship, being snowed in at a remote cabin, and things really heat up! I love the characters in this series, the friendships that are being built, and the strength of those bonds. Boston and Audrey have their ups and downs, and I was pulled easily into their world. Another great read!

I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

After serving his country Boston has come home to repair his relationship with his sister who he wasn’t there for when they both needed someone the most. When he meets Audrey, the sparks fly but so do the complications as she is not only his sister’s best friend but his best friend’s sister as well.

When Audrey meets Boston there is something between them that she is unable to deny even if she knows that he is wrong for her for so many reasons. She knows that it would be prudent to keep her distance but she can’t resist the opportunity to help her career and those she cares about the most at the same time.

Fun and flirty this story will not only bring a smile to your face but touch your heart as well despite their different visions of the future they realize that when it comes to love that is all that really matters.

good follow-up

Wasn’t sure about Tank from his sisters book but what a complete turnaround, he was a great big softie underneath the beast. Audrey I liked and they were well suited. The issues within both their families added a bit of angst but I liked the friendships with others, particularly Pete that helped make the story richer. Good read.

I was honoured to receive an advance copy of this book and this is my honest review.

Audrey Hellman is on a girl's night out at The Tavern. Audrey sidles up to Boston and manages to get him to dance. Gradually Audrey decides to have a one night fling with Boston in the ladies bathroom as she was never going to see him again, neither of them swapped names.

Audrey was a real estate agent. Boston Mooney has come out of the Army and wants to make things right between his sister (Keva Annabel Mooney) and best friend Lincoln.

Pete Williams the 3rd. A cunning 76 years old. Tells Boston that he will sell a parcel of his land for the Glamping Business but there is rules that must be followed. Can Boston persuade Audrey to work with him to get this deal.

Lusty Lady & Beast have so much fun with acronyms so don't even try to remember them!

POV: Dual
Spice: 🌶️ 🌶️ 🌶️

Fake relationship + only one bed + snowed in are some of my favorite things, and this one has all that plus small town with a quiet and growly former military MMC!

As an avid reader of everything Marika Ray, I’ve been so looking forward to Audrey’s book, and it’s even more better that her soul mate ends up being her best friend’s brother! Boston is the grump to Audrey’s sunshine, and I love their instant chemistry and how they compliment each other perfectly.

This is a mostly light and funny read with some heartwarming moments as family relationships are mended, and of course in classic fashion from this author it includes an epic grand gesture! I’m looking forward to what’s next in this series as it’s sure to be just as much of a good time as this book and all the other books in the series are!

I felt like I was in a reading slump, but boy did this book take me out of it. I couldn't put this one down. I love Marika Ray's books because I know I'm in for some real good laughs. This one didn't disappoint. This is the third book in the series and Keva's brother is the MMC. Then we also get Audrey the Hellman's step sister. Boston is one giant of a guy with a grumpy side to Audrey's sunny personality. Things get quite interesting for these two between a somewhat one night stand and being snowed in during a snow storm. Their chemistry won't be denied, but there is so much why they shouldn't act on it. This book has the perfect combo of heart, heat, and humor. A must read in my opinion!!

Home is Where You Park It has everything you love about a rom-com book:

• Enemies to Lovers
• Fake Relationship
• Forced Proximity
• Sister’s Best Friend

Boston “Beast” is a former soldier who is returning home after many years. His main purpose for returning is to repair his relationship with his sister and her husband (his best friend) whom he has let down more than once in the past. A chance encounter with a stranger on the dance floor of a seedy bar adds a layer of distraction to his focus but even more so when said stranger turns out to be his sister’s best friend.

Audrey “Lusty” is a small-town realtor who is inflicted with the peacekeeper gene. The only thing more shocking than her behavior in the back hall of the bar where she is out celebrating with friends is the revelation that he is actually her best friend’s brother. Knowing of him from her friend she immediately picks sides and vows that he does not possess the characteristics of the man of her dreams.

Boston is faced with an opportunity to help his sister and his best friend by securing land to expand the glamping site they have ownership in. As a result of a few stipulations by the land owner, Boston, and Audrey find themselves in a fake relationship.

Through their forced alliance they discover that the other may be more than their initial assessments. Although they may both want to extend their connection beyond the fake union, it is evident that they do not share a view of what that future should look like. Boston is not looking for serious and Audrey is looking for the HEA.

Why is it that the one thing she wants is the one thing he can’t give her? Or can he? Dive into Home is Where You Park It and find out.

The author, once again, delivers a story full of steam, humor, HEA, and great characters with appearances from some of our favorite Hell and Blue Ball residents. I highly recommend it!

Grumpy hero, sassy, sunshiny heroine and one bed while faking a relationship…all the best tropes rolled into one hysterically funny story. Just what I expect from Marika Ray. Set in the now familiar and hilariously named Blueball, Boston and Audrey’s story is filled with dirty, sexy fun and laugh out loud banter. Oh, and of course, familiar characters that long time fan are always glad to see again and again.
Did I mention that we’ve got a bff’s brother plot going on as well? Yeah, that little tidbit throws Audrey and Boston for a loop as well. But he’s too darn sexy for his own good and she’s what’s missing in his life. Marika Ray wrote a heartwarming, enjoyable book and some of her most loveable characters yet. I loved it!

Oh Boston, you sweet, foolish man. I'm so glad you found what you were looking for, and what you weren't looking for, too.

From the moment I was introduced to Boston (years ago, in a novella that turned into the 2nd book in this series), I wanted to know him. He pulled my heartstrings and Marika did not disappoint. He and Audrey are made for each other, even if it took them awhile to admit it to themselves (him even longer. As I said - a sweet, foolish man)
