* This book was given to me for an honest review. *
The first part of the book gives some theorical frame of the Montessori Method, using some testimonies. Its grouped by child-ages and explains about Sensitive Periods and challenges. I think it would be useful for someone getting to know how Montessori works.

The second part (the 300 activities part) gives some ideas of Montessori-oriented activities by age group and skills to develop. I have to say that the description of each activity is pretty short and many are repeated in the different child groups. It could be used as inspiration to activitries to do.

After all, a good read for someone that doesn't know much of Montessori and needs a bit of advice on how to start and what to do.

very insightful

I have a 3 year old that will benefit greatly from the concepts offered in this book. I did appreciate the literal approach to the information since I’m not a great visual learner. The book was not full of unnecessary photos of children playing with blocks or standing next to bookshelves. I loved the tips for activities as well as the suggestions for room arrangements. I will be implementing the Montessori way of learning for my son and this will be a go to resource.

Very thorough

I really enjoyed the book; it's very thorough. The first half covers all the theory, benefits, and testimonials of the Montessori method. The second part is a well-organized and useful list of activities sorted by age and categories. It's a great tool to assist our kids in becoming more independent, creative, emotionally intelligent, and developing critical thinking skills.
