Super easy read! I liked this book slightly better than the first one. Favorite character is still Harry (Hades). Now we gotta wait for the next one to come out!

A lot going on in this book. Things happen just for things to happen, but I’ve read worse books. I’m always one to support self-publishers.

Very fast pace and a cool concept, but is a little bit of a struggle to keep up. The scenes change really fast, so be prepared for something to always happen. Danny tho has my heart

It was okay, I loved the first book i actually got me into reading, but I just didn’t adore this in the same way. Nt sure why, but I feel they some characters were favoured over other and it was a bit rushed for character development in the second book, but I did like it and the underworld plot of it was developed amazingly ❤️ I’ll reread the first book anytime, but not this one. But I will still be reading the third book. LOVE HALLIE

I love these books so much! 🩷
It’s such a shame it’s not more popular!😭
I can’t really put it in words how much I love these books.
The characters mean soo much to me. They are my best friends and I actually think I would be soo incredibly happy being a part of this friend group and this found family. The nerdy talks, the friendly fighting and teasing, the history and the constant care for each other! 👌🏼💋

We got so much more Hallie content in this book which I loved. We also got to know a little about Demeter which was great. CUTIES! 🥰
I feel like there is still nothing interesting going on with Peter. It’s really sad bc everyone got a love interest or an interesting side plot but Peter is just kind of there. He is a sweetheart tho and I love him! 🩷
Harry changed so much in this book (can we blame him?) but at the end of the day he and Aubrey are soo cute!
To Aubrey and Hailey and even Zack I don’t have much to say except they are all baddies and I love them! 😍
Hailey and Zack finally, FINALLY happened!! I mean they happened before but… iykyk. 🥳
And then there is Danny my love, always! He is my light and my love and I actually love him soo much! ✨🩷 He scared the crap out of me, like the third act was third acting. Him and Kronos are adorable and, yes, I do ship them!
In honor of Delphi I would just like to say that I love her and she deserved so much better!!! 🩷😭

No to the plot:
Omg! I completely forgot they were in the underworld at the beginning of the book! Well that was a nightmare. Not in the way that it was a bad plot, I actually enjoyed it and thought it was interesting, but in the pov of the characters. I would have died down there!
And then in the second half they were preparing for war which was pretty fun. Why did the second part lowkey felt like the Narnia movie? Peter would have been Zack and the camp and the war. It all felt very Narnia!

I can’t wait to read the third book! But I also don’t want to read it cause that would mean it’s over! Agh, I love this series soo much! 😫😭🩷

4.5 ⭐️

I was so happy when a second book was announced. I couldn't believe the way it ended! Now that I breezed through the second book, I NEED MORE. It can't just end off like that.

I really love these characters, and I love to see their stories progressing. I can't wait to see them become the Gods and Goddesses that they will be. Also, I won't spoiler, but the 2 deaths that happened in this book, I DIDN'T SEE COMING!! One shocked me more than the other, and I had to close the book and reread that part to make sure what I read was right.

I do wish there was some more to Harry's time in the underworld as well as more time fighting the battle. Other than that, I can't wait for book three!!!

Cute easy read! Interesting twist on the Greek gods. The relationships are a bit weird to me, but maybe that’s just Greek mythology. Love Harry and Danny! Peter (Poseidon) still feels weak and abandoned to me, since her is apart of the big three compared to Zeus and hades

Found family at its best with relatable heros and so much action. This book was never boring and made me laugh a lot. However I espcially enjoyed this book because of its found family atributes and the characters. I love them all and they will be in my heart forever

It feels like, and reads like, fanfiction. Now that's not necessarily a bad thing and I will be reading book 3, but I feel like you need to be in the right mood for it

I just love takes on Greek Mythology. I have some questions about where the other big gods are but still a fun read.

The Six Olympians 2 by Maria Alarcon continues to be an engaging installment in the series.

Overall, I really enjoyed this book. The pacing felt unusual, not necessarily in a negative way, but in that multiple plot threads seemed to progress simultaneously while the main overarching conflict remained more in the background. The story centers on the build-up toward a war against their father, yet it often feels like there are several smaller arcs pulling attention in different directions at once, which creates an interesting but slightly uneven rhythm.

Despite this, the book remains consistently entertaining, and I stayed invested throughout. The characters, particularly Harry and Peter, are a strong part of the series, and their interactions help maintain momentum even during slower sections.

Even though it sometimes feels like the larger storyline is being stretched out, I’m still very interested in where the series is heading.

Overall, this was a solid continuation, and I would recommend it, especially to readers who enjoy myth-inspired adventure series such as Percy Jackson & the Olympians.
