The Lilly Pilly Ghost mysteries just keep getting better. I have loved reading this series. It has kept me engaged all throughout.
Abbie L Martin has created amazing characters and put them in great setting. There is as much interest in some of the minor characters as there is in Jones and her ghostly sister, Autumn.
The premise of a ghost helping her sister solve crimes, murder, chiefly among them, works quite well. The plot has a homespun feel good sense to it, throughout.
Lilly Pilly Creek is a place most of us would love to live and with the Eldershaw sisters taking care of business, you would feel very secure.
I would recommend this series to anyone who lies a good country cozy that has plenty of intrigue and lots of feel good vibes.

Another fun read in the series and I can’t wait for the next one! Was so strange talking about Christmas in hot weather. Definitely not use to reading books taking place in Australia 😉

Once again a nice cosy little murder mystery, with a cold case from the past as well! The characters continue to develop and interact well with each other, relationships building and changing and characters from previous books making reappearances. There are still some errors, but much improved from the last book. A good story with a satisfying ending.

(rounded down from 3.25)

This is a bit of a letdown after the second book, which I enjoyed a lot. I was expecting to get some answers and closure about the ghost situation and the future but aside from the Hugo coupling (which we knew was coming anyway), not much is resolved for the longer term for this duo of sisters. The mystery was also a bit weaker than the previous one so I ended up rating this lower than the previous instalment.

A lot more happening in this one compared to the previous one, a bit of a higher tempo with lots of different storylines at once! I really thought Plum would be able to see Autumn! Oh well only the next book will tell 😊

My enthusiasm continues. The ghost motif is proving a useful mechanism around which to build cosy mysteries. Once you suspend disbelief to accept the device the rest flows seamlessly and logically. I like the deft hand. No hammer cracking this walnut.

Another very readable (if not very credible story). I am enjoying the Adelaide Hills setting, the cozy plots, and the character development. Even if ghosts are not your thing, you may enjoy the mysteries and the hints of romance.

Love the Eldershaw Sisters!

I love the writing and ideas that went into this story! I had a feeling I might know who the villain was, but it took to the revealing of said villain to confirm.

I'm looking forward to seeing what happens in the next book with Jones and Hugo!
