Rate this book
Every betrayal begins with trust.

After learning the lesson firsthand, Nina has guarded herself and her clan against any threat. When her defenses fail, an assassination attempt leaves her vulnerable. With their bitter history poisoning their mating bond, she can either accept Zeke’s help and stay alive—or fight alone.

Zeke prides himself on honor and integrity, but is haunted by a past riddled with tragedy. When Nina is injured, he’s desperate to protect her and bring the people who did it to justice. As a Raeth sovereign, he must choose between his clan or his fated mate.

Anna Hawke is a paranormal romance novelist dedicated to bringing to life the voices inside her head. With a degree in Journalism and a vested interest in grammatical perfection, Anna’s written works contain sarcasm, spark, and sexy alpha males too handsome for their own good.

When she isn’t busy wrangling her three young children, gorgeous husband, and an opinionated grey tabby, Anna enjoys reading romance novels, riding horses, and traveling to places where hiking boots are required. Writing, however, is her favorite pastime, and Anna loves nothing more than pouring herself a 24 oz mug of tea, wrapping herself in a blanket, and giving her imaginary friends a voice.

What. Just. Happened?! Like, seriously. What in the ever loving world just happened?! Speechless. I am absolutely speechless. This entire book has messed with all of my emotions, all of my feelings. Like ALL of them. Y'all. I just can't right now.

Nina and Zeke, all though mates, have spent centuries apart. Neither seemed to want to have anything to do with the other. But there's more than meets the eye. Both have secrets that they've kept from each other. Both have been hurt. Both have been living in limbo. That is until an invitation from Kaien is extended for Zeke to attend his wedding. Once Nina and Zeke see each other, their fight to stay apart starts to diminish. The chemistry these two have is off the charts!

I always knew Nina was stubborn. I just didn't realize HOW stubborn the woman really was. Holy Hannah. Y'all. I can't even begin to tell you how many times I wanted to shake her and/or Gibbs slap her. The woman is maddening. But as the attacks on her and Zeke started happening more and more, it brought them closer together. While it still wasn't all sunshine and roses, it was heartachingly beautiful to see these two fated mates FINALLY come together and get their HEA that is long past due.

Y'all. I thought the plot twist in Across Shadowed Paths was big. But my mind can't even remember what it was because the plot twist in this one?! Y'all. There. Are. No. Words! I'm still asking myself what just happened?! I'm surprised I've written as much of a review as I have because my mind is still reeling from this book.

There's a quote on my blog that says "A book is proof that humans are capable of working magic." I am in complete awe of the world and characters Ms. Hawke has created. She seems to leave me speechless and craving more at the end of each book. Her books just keep getting better and better. Do yourself a favor and give her books a try. You won't regret it. I promise!

And of course no review would be complete without a casting. Love! I just love these two! What do you think?

ARC**

Thankful to th ARC team for sending this to me. An easy 5 star, light reading for me. Plus the MFC that is naturally strong and is already known all throughout 🤌😘

Though this is the first story I've read for this entire series, it kept me hooked to the last page and kinda like wanting more 🤭

Although there are story terms I'm unfamiliar with (like I said, this is the first time I've read this series), I wasn't lost since the terms are explained in the book, as well as the back stories that are easy to follow.

Anyway, all in all, loved this!!! 💙💙

This series is so good! I actually really enjoy the stories, and the romance. The characters are written so well!

This Paranormal Romance is a heartwarming read with a world full of numerous fantasy beings.
The romance is a slower build, with a romantic past complicating the current circumstances.
The spice in this book is very mild, making it a great read for a large variety of readers.
The book moves at a quick pace as the MCs fight for the FMC safety, and her clan.
The world building is superb. The book remains in the same world as the previous books, adding in new excitement.
The characters are ones previously introduced in the other books in this series, and have an extensive past built between them.

It’s been years since I last read a vampire and werewolf romance novel. I tried it on a whim but wow! This book really made me so nostalgic for the genre! I enjoyed it so much. The supernatural characters were somehow still realistic, and relatable but with fun superpowers that made everything more exciting. If you’re a fan of fantasy romance (or you used to be) give this one a try!

I loved This romantasy !
Its a light read and It has you entralled from the first chapter and until the end! Its about immortals; vampires, werewolves, raeths and elementals. Great for fans of twilight, vampire diaries and so on.
It’s a fated mates romantasy with 0-1 on the Spice scale.
I absolutely loved Nina and Zeke and Cant wait for the next book in the immortal Accordss Series!

This book is about two people who are fated together, struggling with an assassination for reasons that are unknown.
This is a slower build romance; I am honestly here for it. I love how from the start of Zeke and Nina's relationship in this book you can TELL that something had happened that neither one of them is willing to forget. I love that Nina is hardheaded but also a badass FMC that will do anything to protect her people.
I adore that Zeke is willing to keep trying even though he regrets his actions. Like, I would LOVE a man who's willing to admit that he messed up and still tries to get my attention!!
This book is brilliantly written, and I absolutely adore the author's work!

I don't normally read slowburn or closed door romances, I love my spice but, these characters chemistry and there dance around their bond was pretty heated. The main characters had me giggling and kicking my feet at some point. For a book filled with supernatural characters with unbelievable lives and powers, I love how relatable their problems and emotions were. It made it easy to fall in love with not only this book, but the series and author as a whole.

Two people that are fated for each other that deal in half truth an lies. A shattered mate bond and assasination attempts. Nina has a choice to accept Zekes help and stay alive or try alone. Zeke must decide to choose her or his clan but he can't stand her being hurt. Loved the characters and the world building.

My first reaction for this book was just incomprehensible internal fangirl squealing. Nova and Kane may be my favorites, but Nina and Zeke compete with Isaiah and Rukia for second. I absolutely love the angst and tension! The second chance romance trope is a trope I’m starting to read, and this absolutely made me fall in love with the trope.

Enjoyed finally seeing Nina more often. Zeke acted the way he did with a reason and it was good to see them figure it out.

My only concern is with all the raith abilities why aren’t they just teleporting and not dying?!

This one had a lot more death and violence but not too descriptive. I felt it less steamy than others but still closed door. Only one or two curse words.

Good characters

I really enjoyed it, but I didn't love love it. Nina and Zeke are good, but I tend to like a little more tension or angst between the main characters.
