I am Misty Vixen (not my real name obviously), and I imagine that if you’re reading this, you want to know a bit more about me.
In the beginning (late 2014), I was an erotica author. I wrote about sex, specifically about human men banging hot inhuman women. Monster girls, alien ladies, paranormal babes. It was a lot of fun, but as the years went on, I realized that I was actually striving to be a harem author. This didn’t truly occur to me until late 2019-early 2020. Once the realization fully hit, I began doing research on what it meant to be a harem author. I’m kind of a slow learner, so it’s taken me a bit to figure it all out.
That being said, I’m now a harem author!
Just about everything I write nowadays is harem fiction: one man in loving, romantic, highly sexual relationships with several women. Nowadays, I tend to write more human on human stuff, but I still have a lot of non-human ladies in mind for the future, so if that’s your thing then stick around.
I’d say beyond writing harems, I tend to have themes that I always explore in my fiction, and they encompass things like trust, communication, respect, honesty, dealing with emotional problems in a mature way…basically I like writing about functional and healthy relationships. Not every relationship is perfect, but I don’t really do drama unless the story actually calls for it. In total honesty, I hate drama. I hate people lying to each other and I hate needless rom-com BS plots that could have been solved by two characters having a two minute conversation.

Great addition to the series!
I just love this author’s books, this series specifically. The characters are just so real and so are their interactions with each other and the love and romance between them. This is the perfect slice of life series in this genre. I wish more series had characters this deep. I can’t wait for the next in the series.

Best /realistically wriren polycule so far
This series has by far the most real and honest portrayal of inter personal realtonship and mental health between members of a polycule i have ever read. Yes it's all writen as a kinda of ficonlized "harem by acident modern story" where he keeps luckibg into improbably sexy scenarios but its still amazingly down to earth enotonaly real. Having lived with multiple partners at once in the past and having real realtonship perspective looking back....this hits so much harder than almost any other story I have read. The characters also dont all just live happily ever after once they fall in love. Depression is real and can effect anyone even when "nothing is wrong" but in complex relationships that are different or opposed by society (or by ones family) it can be crippling. I love that even in this modern day harem "why choose" story the author takes time to humanize everyone and give real emotional breadth to the relationships. Love a sexy book that makes me think and grow both in my own relationship and thinking back on my life's mistakes or how to let go of past realtonships that my not have been what I thought at the time. Also bonus points for a health/ positive depiction of weed in a romance book (something i don't remember ever reading ) Compliments to the Author again. 10 out of 10 such an amazing job with this story.

More! More! More!
I can't get enough of Gabe's and his girlfriends' lusty adventures! I love how Goth Girl Chloe evolved in this one. The story itself is rolling along beautifully, gathering mass and constantly changing, like the snowball rolling down the hill. Long lost best friends, sisters, landlords, and want-to-be mothers being pulled in left and right. I am definitely looking forward to the next part of this story!

Slice of life, harem adult situations
Grove's life continues to change and for the better. I'm not into the bratty sex or the spanking, but different kinks for different folks, and all told, it was well done. Surprised but pleased there will be a book 4. Wow. Over 1100 pages thus far. A lot of emotional exploration, and that's what makes the sex scenes better, that those so engaged have relationships and love the one(s) they are with. Enjoyed.

Another Great Book!
Misty has cracked the code writing excellent stories about people in unusual circumstances, yet making it work out for them. The well paced story keeps you reading and interested. Gabe and his growing group of women are making a go of this new relationship. Listening and supporting each other. I'm really enjoying the series. I believe you would as well.

Nothing really wrong with this, just didn't hold my attention very well. I suspect the themes of these books may have been tapped out for me, as the latest addition to the menage is taking a lot of bandwidth in this story and reading about her neuroses didn't really grab me. I won't say I won't read book 4, but it's not on my shortlist for sequels either.

What a life.
Really, this series is above and beyond just a fun harem life. The way Misty portrays all of her characters, their positives, and their negatives are so richly written. I am falling for all of them. The deep thoughts conveyed in this series really make me step back and look at the world around us. Can't wait for your next installment, Misty.

EXCELLENT Well worth waiting for
I just love the expansion of the Goths character in the story line!! The expansion of the cougar’s experience details! I am so thankful for the overall expansion of the story line and actions of our characters. I can say the I reread the original Our Own Way compilation monthly but this is Next Level! Keep it up Miss Misty 🙌😱🙃

Crazy love it!
The characters continue to grow, the "flock" right along with them. There is drama, excitement, love, sex, comedy and so much more. I love it and will be continuing with the next book!

Spicy yet Endearing!
I’m just enraptured by this series and hope that somehow it never ends. The relationships have such meaningful dialogue and experiences that feel real. I loved that brief meeting of Chloe’s family. Overall, this is a great series and I can’t wait for more!

I love Ms Vixen’s work. It just gets better with each series. Her MC isn’t some macho dickhead. He is thoughtful and considerate and truly caring towards the lives in his life. A big thank you to her for the work she does.
