Unshakable Swagger is a guidebook and companion for men who wish to radically overhaul their confidence from the inside-out. With a combination of inner-foundation principles and outer-world techniques and social strategies, this book serves as a resource a man can turn to in order to achieve unwavering confidence in every situation he may encounter.
Few good advice in a book filled of mediocre slush.
If you're struggling with your self-esteem the book is going to provide long-winded bullet points of how you should ideally behave ("you absolutely must have a firm grasp on your emotions", "As soon as you enter the social gathering, start to work the room", ).
But no points on how to get there.
I think the author is not aware enough (maybe just a curse of knowledge) to see how big of a demand this is and is not going to help you make it easier
Oh and I will just leave this quote here uncommented, judge it yourself.
Direct quote about the power of tension and how to make yourself "more valuable, sought after, rare, and difficult to win over":
- You can ask the person to qualify him herself to you (...). - You can poke fun at small mistakes they make (...). - You can send mixed signals (...) - You can let some time go by before you contact someone again (or answer a call) after they last spoke with you.
I have never read a more perfect summary of all of human existence. It is as if the author interviewed anyone and everyone who has ever achieved enlightenment and extracted only the best bits of wisdom. I have seen people faint in the presence of this book and awakened only to speak in tongues.
Whoever wrote this...whoever penned this masterpiece...I thank you. You must be either some gifted old soul or a perfect idiot.
