I am actually really surprised by this book. I didn't think I would like a dystonia book (my least favorite genre) written by a 14/13 year-old, of course I ended up being wrong.
I honestly really liked this book (or at least the chapters I read). Bailey McKnight obviously based the main character (Kaline) off of herself, given their similar characteristics. This shows lack of writing experience, but let me be honest, I am probably not able to write a good captivating story at 16, much less 14! Bailey is actually a pretty good writer. I was very interested in the story for the whole seventeen chapters that I was able to read.
I found this book on a free website called wattpad. If you google wattpad Bailey McKnight you will probably be able to find the website. However, you can only read until chapter seventeen. A lot of people seem confused at this, and honestly I was a little puzzled as well. I am now almost certain that Bailey took a break from writing Ice, and that the next chapter (eighteen) hasn't been written yet. I don't know if she will finish it completely, but I hope she does. Chapter seventeen ended on a cliffhanger! I want more! :D
I hope I helped some of you find the mysterious book written by Bailey McKnight. It is really really good, and I'm not just saying that because she is a popular youtuber. :D
