I brought this book used as I always do when I see a book on Israeli Judaism. Or Jewish people anywhere in the world. This book about the Jewish people in Canada amnd covering three cities in Canada Montreal (where I live) Toronto (where I have family) and Winnipeg,
For the part in Montreal it didn't go into as much detail as other books I read on Jewish people begging here in Montreal but still was very good. It did speak of Dr, Victor Goldbloom who I recalled as a cabinet minister here in Quebec,
For the part in Toronto I learned several things and found that very interesting. It also spkoe in parts about the clothing industry and the Jewish Congress and the problems it had years ago,
As I never been to Winnipeg that was all new to me so really liked reading about it and there was a part about former Cabinet Minister Herb Gray.
Overall this book was a good read, I would give it 4*.
