This was hard to rate. I really enjoyed it, but I didn't love it. But I loved certain parts about it. Like Stiles. I adore Stiles. Always have and always will. So it was great in that sense.

I'm going with 4 stars and will probably read it again and it might make me change my rating.

I had this weird feeling when I read this that I should have liked it more. It kind of felt like the way I feel about George Clooney - I see his attractiveness, I know he is intelligent, he's quite talented and I even enjoy some of his movies, but he just doesn't "do it" for me.

At any rate, this is well written. It is got this broody, edgy feel to it - though that broody, edginess circles around Stiles, not Derek for a change of pace. I think maybe that is what didn't work for me? Not sure. At any rate I am not rating it, because I don't really feel like it. It didn't really make me feel much.

One of the reasons I read Sterek fanfic is because I love Stiles. He is my favourite character on the show by far. So a BAMF!Stiles in full Marine uniform made my day, punk. The action was fast paced, and I liked the descriptions of the military procedures. And in the end there was Derek, so it is all good. Recommended!

3.5/5 stars Not what I was expecting. I enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would. I still feel like something was missing though. It was good, it just didn't really make me feel anything. The idea of Stiles becoming Special Ops, though, yes. Perfect.

Oh, I could totally picture Stiles becoming this badass Special Ops. And even with his new found strength, abilities and confidence, it was still believable to see him submit to Derek. It was an interesting idea to have Peter (who else?) kill teenagers for life sustenance and force Stiles back to his hometown to deal with him and resolve the issues with Scott, Derek and the rest of the pack. Loved the writing portraying Stiles as a Marine, just enough technical to make it interesting but not overly dense. I so want to read a sequel on this!

Action packed, strong feelings, a bit of angst and tense moments between the cast appearing here and the well deserved sweet romantic moments at the end. Everything worked together great.

Oh so lovely.

So I have a thing for military stories, and I have a thing for Sterek (obviously), so when I saw this and that two things that I adore got combined? I was sold. Immediately.

I really can't even form any complaints other than that I wish it had been longer. I'd love more from this setting. It was just so wonderful.

Sterek fanfic where Stiles is BAMF Special OPS and Derek is a werewolf. Another short that would be great in longer version, but came across as too short. It was a great action packed short though.

Special Ops story line worked really well. Pity it only takes 20 minutes or so to read it.
