Can Cooper and Noel learn to embrace life's challenges together?
For Noel Echolls, planners and schedules are essential to keeping her anxiety at bay. So when a co-worker leaves without notice, and Noel is thrown into heading up two of the town's biggest events of the year, it's no wonder she has a panic attack. Too bad it's in front of Cooper Meyer, the handsome new business owner she has a scheduled meeting with.
Opening a bookstore is what Cooper has been working toward for the last two years. His goal is to have a safe place for his disabled younger brother to work alongside him. The upcoming Christmas event would be a perfect time to open the doors if he can get everything together by the deadline. He's in the middle of going through inventory when a beautiful woman ducks into his bookstore looking panicked. He offers her a quiet corner to recover, and quickly learns of her skills in organizing.
Cooper surprises himself by offering her a job in the evenings to help him get the bookstore stocked, and Noel is even more shocked when she agrees. As they work together, they both discover an undeniable connection. But between Noel's lifelong struggle with anxiety and Cooper eventually becoming his brother's full-time guardian, will it be too much for them to overcome?

Melanie D. Snitker is a USA Today bestselling author who writes inspirational romance and romantic suspense. She and her husband live in Texas with their two children. They share their home with three dogs and a variety of small animals. In her spare time, Melanie enjoys photography, reading, training her dog, playing computer games, and hanging out with family and friends.
Noel and Cooper are both taking on new responsibilities when they meet. And they handle it well, for the most part. Of course, to make a good story, they had to have bad days.
I loved the main characters and the siblings of the main characters. There was even a surprise good guy!
This is my voluntary review of a copy I received from the author.
Enjoyed reading about Noel and her anxiety problems. Like the approach of the author with this sweet young woman afflicted with this and her handling of it in such a realistic manner while dealing with cold and distant parents who were always verbally abusing her.
Handsome and single Cooper Meyer is the town's new bookstore owner. Noel meets him while she experiencing a panic attack while entering his new store. He immediately helped her breathing and calmed her down and she helped him get his new store organized and opened in time for all of the town's holiday shoppings. He wants to be become Jett's main caregiver, giving his parents some time together and to enjoy retirement together.
Noel had such a sweet understanding with all individuals and their social stigmas and problems. She treat everyone the same with kindness and respect. That's why she understood and was patient and kind toward Jett, a young man with autism and other problems. She also volunteered a lot helping out at the ranch that had such great programs dealing with these problems.
Noel and Cooper's story went well until they both started analyzing their situation or relationship. Once again proving the importance of communication in all stages or life and relationship.
I received an early copy, ARC, and am giving my free and voluntary review
Noel has been under the thumb of her parents her whole life. They are rich, demeaning, and inconveninced if Noel doesn't do exactly what they say. One thing she does enjoy is helping people at hippotherapy stables. She encounters people with special needs there she would never run into in her parents' social circles. Essentially, she becomes a more well-rounded, emapthetic person! When she encounters Cooper and his brother, Jett, who has Fragile X Syndrome, she takes it in stride beautifully. Cooper hasn't dated anyone who felt eventually taking care of his special needs brother was something that they could do. With Noel, things are different. Not only does he feel a connection to her, he also sees how she treats Jett with respect and dignity and wonders if he may have found someone he could spend his life with. Unfortunately, the first time Noel is entrusted with Jett's care, things don't go well. I won't give out any more details on that...just pick up the book and find out what happens!
I really found this book a realistic peek into what families with special needs members experience on a daily basis. I also love that there was a sprinkling of prayers throughout that the characters said, leaning on God. I received an advance copy of this book from the author. That in no way incluenced my opinion of the book.
Noel likes everything organized and well-planned. She also has anxiety issues. When her co-worker quits unexpectedly and she is expected to take on both jobs, her sense of anxiety increases. Her dysfunctional family also causes great anxiety. Cooper is committed to the care of his adult, special needs brother. Noel and Cooper are falling in love as they work together and begin spending more time together, but both are concerned about a future together because of their own personal problems and commitments. Only God can work out His perfect plan in their lives as they pray and depend on Him.
I always enjoy Melanie Snitker’s books because they are well-written, have wonderful characters, and include Christian elements.
I received a free advance copy of this book. My review is voluntary and unbiased.
This is a sweet and clean romance. Part of a series, but can be read as a stand-alone.
Noel works for the city. She is an introvert and has anxiety. She wants what her brother has – the partner and the family. For now she gets to be the best aunt ever. She is working on an event and when her partner goes on leave to help with a family emergency, Noel then has to meet with the stores. Cooper is new in town and is opening a bookstore. Noel offers to help him as she has exceptional organizational skills. Each person has some issues, so would anything ever work out?
Very cute story with great characters. Emotion is definitely pulled in and I got mad at a couple of the characters. It is definitely worth the read.
This book was very good. It told of a special needs child, his family and how everyone loved him and cared for him. His older brother wanted to help care for him and take some responsibility off of his parents who never had time on their own together. Finding someone to marry that understands his wanting to help his parents and care about his brother’s needs too, seemed impossible. God’s ways can be amazing and fulfilling as well as making them a family and trusting him to guide them in their lives together. When we put God first in our lives, he works all things out for our good for those who love him.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this tender romance. I found the characters to be believable and very likeable, but not perfect. I appreciated that the book tackled some difficulties in life that I haven't seen in other Christian romances. I would love to read more of the Brides of Clearwater series and would gladly read other works by author Melanie D. Snitker. I highly recommend this book to readers of clean romance and of Christian romance. I received a complimentary copy of Marrying Noel and am sharing my opinion of this well-written book.
This is a very important read. How we respond to those who have disabilities reflects so much on who we are as a person. Yes, sometimes you don’t really know how to respond, but I’ve found that a simple smile goes a long ways. I can relate to many aspects in this story. I am a planner and list maker. As the oldest of ten I also know what it is like to bear the responsibility of caring for younger siblings. Life is not easy but God wants us to treat others with respect and befriend the lonely and struggling. I received an ARC. My opinions are my own.
Marrying Noel is a Christian, inspirational romance between Noel, who has an anxiety disorder, and Cooper, bookstore owner and brother to Jett who has special needs. These characters are so believable and they stole my heart. From the time I began reading, everything on my to do list faded away. I enjoyed how MS. Snitker worked through the difficult moments and brought these two their HEA. I highly recommend this entire series.
I enjoyed this story. It was interesting to read about a special needs young man as well as someone who dealt with anxiety. I was ready to get upset at the characters once, but after they had had time to think and pray and talk to others, they got things straightened out. I really didn’t like Noel’s parents. But I don’t think I was supposed to. This can be a stand alone, but it does tie in with another book in the series.
A good book that dealt with panic attacks and disabled members of your family. Noel is under a lot of pressure preparing for the Christmas events in town, but she has time to work in Cooper's bookstore. She connects right off with Joel, Cooper's brother with a disability. This book showed the demand on a person's family that has a disabled person. Also, that it isn't a weakness to take medication for panic attacks. Enjoyed the love story that developed between Noel and Cooper.
This was so good! I love that Jace and Noel are twins and how they were always there for each other. I also love the connection Noel has with special needs and is able to connect with Jett. Jace and Noel's namesake is also great. I love Cooper and Noel! Great story! Great characters! I received an advanced copy of this book and am voluntarily sharing my honest opinion.
I loved this heartwarming story about Noel and Cooper. They are so realistic you can feel their emotions. I liked the side characters, especially Jace and Jett. The Christian values shine through in this story. A wonderful, enjoyable read! I received an advance copy of this book from the author, however, I voluntarily wrote an honest review. All opinions are strictly my own.
This is a sweet romance with real life issues that have to be worked through. The author presented very real struggles for Noel and Cooper to overcome. They both knew that their relationship had potential for much growth, but they also recognized the obstacles. I enjoyed how the author skillfully guided them through to a very happy conclusion.
This is a sweet romance about finding the person who accepts you and loves you for who you are good and bad. Noel suffers from anxiety and has horrible parents. Cooper has the responsibility of a mentally challenged brother. I thought Noel and Cooper were a great couple and really enjoyed their story.
This is a great story and it includes lots of info about dealing with special needs family members and anxiety. Cooper found a way to earn a living and to care for his brother May God bless and send help to anyone born to parents similar to Noel's. They treated people horribly!
6 books in a row that captured my heart and drew me into the story. I think this might’ve been the best since it featured a fragile-X individual. Our grandson is just like Jett. I hope this story becomes a powerful platform to raise awareness and tolerance for these special needs children.
I really enjoyed Melanie D Snitker’s “Marrying Noel”! It is so heartwarming and tender, it is sure to touch your heart like it did mine. I’ll admit I got a little teary. I would definitely recommend this beautiful story! I’m looking forward to reading more by this talented author.
I really enjoyed how this story dealt with real, difficult issues. The title and cover make it look to be just another fluffy romance story, but it is not. It is so much deeper than that. I liked how Cooper and Noel had real struggles, individually and with each other, and it wasn't easy for them, but they worked through those struggles.
Noel met Cooper when she went to deliver flyers about the Christmas activities. They decided they wanted to be friends. Noel was very busy with her job. Then her boss had to leave of family sickness. When Noel was at the bookstore that Cooper owned she met Cooper's brother a special needs person. She wanted to help Jett over come some of his fears.
This was such a sweet book that dealt with faith, overcoming, acceptance and forgiveness. The disabilities and the way they were handled were well written. Loved the dynamics between both set of siblings. Great book!
I loved this touching story. Cooper and Noel were made for each other. The care that the characters show for each other is touching to see. A heartwarming story that shows love winning over some of the hard parts of life.
Melanie D. Snicker did a great job. Noel Echols was working as a planner. She met Cooper Meyer as she walked into a bookstore that was fixing to open as she was having a panic attack. She ended up helping him open. Jeanette Stracner
Marrying Noel (Brides of Clearwater #6) by Melanie D. Snitker - This series is on kindle unlimited. I have never been prouder of fictional characters for drawing appropriate boundaries with toxic people and situations! I’m going to miss this little town! Happy Holiday Reading!
In a broken home life twins help each other find love and acceptance. Noel deals with panic attacks when she meets someone who understands and accepts her as she is.
I was never quite sure how the story and romance would turn out. Several endings were possible. I was not disappointed. Ms. Snitker is truly a talented writer.
A sweet, heartwarming story. Noel is kind and loving. Cooper is a caring man, taking responsibility for his special needs brother. I enjoyed this sweet storyline and how the characters overcame the difficult situations.
I really enjoyed this story of Noel and Cooper. Cooper was impressive taking on the responsibility of his brother with special needs all while trying to open his store. This is a clean romance.
