Just hours after the Shifting Sands Medallion is finally returned to its rightful owners, Morgan must face one of her biggest challenges yet after one of the Easton family members has a brush with death.
Easton Island is the continuing saga of one woman’s journey from incredible loss to finding a past she knew nothing about, including a family who both embraces and fears her and a charming island that draws her in. This inspirational women’s fiction series is for lovers of family sagas, friendship, mysteries, and clean romance.
The Shifting Sands Medallion is finally returned to its rightful owners and Morgan is thrilled that the ancient artifact is going home.
Only hours later, her brother pitches an exciting yet potentially risky Easton Holdings Company project to his grandmother and sister. Although Elizabeth isn’t on board, Morgan is intrigued, partly because of the location – Mackinac Island – and partly because of who the project involves.
Brett convinces the senior Easton to allow him and Morgan to journey to one of the most popular tourist spots in Michigan to meet with the property’s owner. Before the meeting is to take place, Morgan is faced with a new set of challenges when one of the Easton family members has a brush with death that requires her to dig deep and face her fear of failure.
Elizabeth has no doubt her granddaughter is up to the task. After all, she is an Easton. Determined not to let her family down, Morgan is out to prove something, not only to the Easton Islanders, but also to herself.

I am really enjoying this ongoing story but once again, this book is just too short. The ONLY reason I did not give it 5 stars is that I finished it quickly and want more. This one did have more of a conclusion than some of the earlier ones, but it is more of a novella than a complete book. In my opinion, this is a drawback and kept that final star from being awarded.
I just love this inviting series! It has clean language, always a mystery or five involving Morgan and/or her family.
In this book, a lot of drama unfolded: Morgan hangs over the Shifting Sands Medallion to the Israeli people’s representative. The drama is that a bomb threat was called in (we later find out who made that call). Morgan is given a substantial reward for returning the medallion.
Brett has asked Morgan and their grandmother to potentially invest in a resort on Mackinac Island. Prior to the meeting with the man currently owning the property - David Wynn, Brett collapses and is rushed to the hospital.
Morgan must then meet with Mr. Wynn without Brett. The meeting goes well. Since Mr. Wynn isn’t sure about the joint adventure with the Easton’s, or anyone for that matter, now is the waiting game for his decision on whether or not to proceed.
Then Ronni contacts Morgan and informs her that money has been stolen from guests at Morgan’s bed and breakfast. So Morgan has to figure out who the thief is. Unfortunately, she has an inkling as to who the culprit is and it’s an employee of hers.
Then, Naomi pulls something awful on Morgan and Chester. Why Naomi hates the Easton’s so much is beyond me. She despises Morgan even though she just met her recently. Naomi only hates her because she’s an Easton. Bitter and jealous woman is what she is!
So, ya, a lot happened in this read. Oh, and I forgot to mention the flowers. Wyatt received a bouquet of flowers that must have cost one hundred dollars and he doesn’t know who sent them! We don’t find out in this book, but I suspect Naomi or Mrs. Finkpin sent them in order to make Morgan think that Wyatt is with another woman and they’re from her. The two nasty women are attempting to make Morgan jealous and cause friction between Wyatt and Morgan. If this is the case, it didn’t work! Hahaha. I’m sure the next book will tell who sent them though.
Another great book in this series! As Brett, Elizabeth, Quinn, & Morgan are at the airport to meet the Israeli chief scientist for the Israel Antiquities Authority who was representing Israel in the ceremony in the turnover the Shifting Sands Medallion to Israel. It is an exciting day & there is most of Easton Island as well as Mainlanders! As the Israeli delegation is being introduced to Morgan & her Grandmother, Wyatt gets a radio call! As Wyatt starts toward them, men clad in riot gear come out a side door & begin rushing them towards the exit! Someone has called in a bomb threat! The group is rushed into the bunker that her grandfather had built many years ago! When the advance Israeli Security team had checked out the airport & grounds, it was discovered again! Finally the security team let them know the presentation could begin! After the presentation, the Israeli delegation is going to leave. The bomb threat caused the spectators had been told to leave so Mr. Blum feels it inappropriate to continue the ceremony! Mr. Blum hands an envelope with Morgan's name elegantly embossed on the front. As she accepted it, she broke the seal & removed the paper inside... "a check with so many zeroes it was hard to tell how much it was...made out to her! She is shocked & not sure what to say. Her grandmother & Brett step forward & profusely thanks Mr. Blum.
What adventures will the future hold & how will Morgan use the check? I thoroughly enjoyed this new book!
Easton Family Dynasty (Book 10) is an effortless read with a small town Lake Huron Michigan setting. Easton Family Dynasty is a who dun it mystery with relatable small town characters, including annoying neighbors. The story flows and some twists and turns (conference calls, employee caught stealing, bomb threats) keeps the reader engaged. Foreshadowing throughout the story has this reader of the Easton Island series wanting more. Hope Callaghan’s style includes a character list and tidbits from the previous stories to refresh the reader of past events. As a retired reader, who at times has a limited attention span, I enjoy Callaghan’s writing style: short paragraphs, with just enough description and dialog to keep the mystery moving. Recipe for Halifax Donair included made me hungry for a good Greek gyro. Kilwin’s Mackinac Chocolate Peanut Butter fudge is a local favorite.
This series just keeps getting better and better!!!!!! From 2 different health scares, to a neighbor's razor wire fence, to a thief at the bed and breakfast, this story is a fast paved page turner that is filled with twists and turns. The one common thread that ties it all together is the love of the family she didn't even know she had until just a few years ago and the friendships that surround and support her every step if the way. This is wholesome reading with characters that are so real you could believe they exist in reality. I really enjoy this series and can not wait for the next book to find out if new investment property is in the future and hopefully watch karma fulfilled when the two troublemakers on the island are finally exposed.
The Easton Family is met with a situation that could bring them to their knees, but in true fashion Morgan, her grandmother and the rest of the Easton Harbor family pulled together and proved successful. This series has become my favorite of all that Hope Callaghan writes and it has plenty to keep one involved with the story. There is romance and the sweetest dog ever! I don't want to say much and give away the story, but it is a great story. A word of advice, if you have not read the books read them in order so you will understand the relationships. I am looking for the next installment!!!
When Brett suffers a heart attack, Morgan must take the reins of the dynasty he and her father meticulously built over the years. She and her grandmother navigate a challenging board meeting, emerging victorious and confident. The Wynn account remains uncertain, with hopes pinned on David Wynn's daughter Harlow, a renowned actress. Despite their optimism, Harlow's hesitation stems from a tragic past—her mother's death in a fire—which has left her reluctant to engage with her father, potentially complicating the business negotiations.
Book number 10 of the Easton Family Dynasty is a great addition to the series! It ties up a number of outstanding issues: like returning the Shifting Sands Medallion, a meeting to talk about a possible reconstruction on Mackinak Island and Morgan filling in temporarily for Brett at Easton Holdings Company. I love reading more about this family, which all feel like old friends! I received a free copy of this book from the author and write this review voluntarily.
Absolutely wonderful next chapter in the new life of Morgan Easton. After a scare while on a business trip, Morgan has to fill in on the board of the family company. Back home, other matters almost blow up in her face. With the help of family and friends, most of the problems are handled. It's the next chapter in the life of Morgan Easton and a wonderful easy clean read
Loved it! The Easton Island series is just fanatic and this installment did not disappoint. It’s fairly fast paced while leaving nothing out. I adore the family aspect and how important it is, how it isn’t just the core family but the close people around them that make this big beautiful family. I really enjoy that this is a clean book without foul language, nothing graphic or sexual, it’s just a clean, wonderful story. I’m excited for the next one!
I love this charming and heartwarming series! Like everything Hope Callaghan pens, this whole series is exceptionally well crafted. When a family member falls ill, Morgan must spread her wings a bit more to face the challenge. Wonderful plot and great characters make this on3 a great read. I enjoyed this book and am looking forward to the next in the series. I received a complimentary copy of this book and chose to write a voluntary, unbiased review.
Thus book covered several topics: Mackinac Island, family crisis, fence, theft, among others. Is love in the air: Elizabeth and Gerard, Brett and Quinn, Wyatt and Morgan? You don't want to miss this read. Book only came out yesterday, but it was great. Misss Hope never disappoints me. I've read all of her books, I do believe
I absolutely love all of Hopes books. I think I say it every time but I mean it every time. She has a gift of writing the best books without putting a bunch of vulgarity in them. And I also like how she includes our Lord in everyone. God bless you Hope just keep them coming.
I can’t say enough about this book. I Love the Fsmily and their friends. The mysteries continue and keep me very intrigued. What i happening next? Who is causing what? It is truly an excellent read and to be accurate I must read on to the next book to find out what is next. Definitely recommend this book. Now on to the rest of the story. I can’t wait.
Easton Family - A Series about Family and Personal Growth
This is a great series about a woman finding family and friends after the loss of her mother. You get drawn into each of the characters' lives. You root for them as they experience difficult times. Can't wait for the final book coming next March.
This like her others are incredible. They hold your interest from beginning to end. I became involved in the lives of each person as if I knew them and cared for them personally. At the end of each book I can't wait for the next book in the series to begin. Thank you Hope Callaghan...
Morgan continues running her B&B, learning more about her ancestry and dating Wyatt. Mischief at the inn, health scares and a mystery complicate matters. I enjoyed it and recommend it
I love these 📚 books so much! I just wish they were a bit longer! Morgan has grown so much in the series. From someone upset because of her mom’s death to a confident lady. The characters are well done and you can picture them. Can’t wait for more.
Book 10 in this enjoyable series. Morgan's brother Brett has a health scare, and she steps up to keep the company running smoothly. The Medallion is returned to the Israeli Government, and the B & B has some thefts.
The characters continue to develop along with the storyline, which is obviously to be continued 😉 and I'm looking forward to reading more of Morgan's adventures!
Another awesome book! I love the Easton Island characters! A wire fence, that's dangerous. That's amazing that Morgan is going to give money to the food bank. Awesome awesome book!
Hope Callaghan has a way of making me feel like I am right there with the characters in the book. I have a mental picture of what I think each person looks like. Can't wait for the next book.
It was so nice to read a non-violent cozy mystery! I love the characters and look forward to the next book. Naomi just gets more evil while Brett and Morgan get nicer. Following their romances has been fun. Having characters who are interested in using their time and money to help others is defy kind of book.
The Easton Family Dynasty is one to be proud of and to cherish. Morgan, Brett, and Elizabeth grow closer and have some adventures along the way. The villains aren't too villainous, and the scenery is gorgeous. Enjoy!
I love this series ! Right from the start you feel like you are part of the family. You don't necessarily have to read previous books because the main characters are described but such good stories you'll want to read them all !
I thoroughly enjoyed this book, along with the first 9 ! Each one was endearing and had just enough suspense to keep the story interesting ! I'm looking forward to more stories from the Easton family!
As always, a quick read with a lot happening. Even tho it's months in between books, it doesn't take long to get back into the storyline. I love the characters!!
Thoroughly enjoying this series. Sad I am ready to read the last book in it. Romance, intrigue and a cast of interesting characters. Hope has done a great job with this series. Wishing it was a real destination with a real Mrs. Arnesby's delicious food.
I read the whole series of 11 books in 13 days. I absolutely could not stop. If you love a faith based, life changing read with a great characters and an Adorable furry side kick. This series is for you!!!!
Hope Callaghan is a wonderful author and I am highly enjoying her series. Her characters are amazing and there are plenty of plot twists to keep you interested.
