It was really interesting to read about all the different people who were involved in helping Harlan in his time of need, and the different roles that were required for everything to unfold the way it did. Short chapters, simple language, but a fascinating viewpoint and reminder to each of us how precious and fleeting life can be. A great encouragement for us to be Good Samaritans when given the opportunity.

This had the potential to be a phenomenal book. But, it was very repetitive. The same information was repeated over and over again.
