Owning a dog is supposed to be fun and rewarding. I knew that it would also at times be challenging. We thought we were ready.
And then Mac arrived in our home!
I never realised that Mac would come with a mirror. The longer I have spent with him, the more I seem to have seen and learnt about myself.
In this book I describe how becoming a dog owner caused me to (re)consider deep questions of life and faith and I hope that through my story, you also may consider, with me, the biggest question of all, “What is the purpose of life?”

An easy to read book. I love the way the dog & his owner get compared to us and God. It’s a funny, beautiful, interesting book to read. I definitely laughed out loud a couple of times.
