Colt I never thought I would end up back in Texas, but when the woman I had a fling with calls to tell me she’s having my baby, I know there is no other place I should be. It doesn’t hurt that I still haven’t stopped thinking about my time with the Texan beauty. My life is thrown into chaos as soon as I arrive. From taking care of Kaitlyn and my son to dealing with the politics of being in another chapter’s territory, I am running in circles. When tragedy strikes, I’m not sure who I can trust anymore, the club I’ve been a part of most of my life or the one my baby mama was born into. All I know is that I’m going to need help from my brothers back home to solve this murder.
Kaitlyn I always wanted to be a mother, but I never imagined that I would have one with a member of an MC that wasn’t my father’s. Then I met Colt, and we had a fling for the story books. We are thrust together in this adventure in new parenthood, but Colt has more on his mind than just our little family. For once in my life, I want to be a priority, but I know how MC life goes. If the club calls, you answer. Only Colt seems different. At least until there is a murder in his club and all signs point to my father’s. Suddenly I’m in the middle of a war I want nothing to do with, but helpless to stop it. Will I be able to keep the peace between all the important people in my life or will I be forced to choose sides?
Cala Riley, better known as Cala and Riley, are a pair of friends with a deep seated love of books and writing. Both Cala and Riley are happily married and each have children, Cala with the four-legged kind while Riley has a mixture of both two-legged and four. While they live apart, that does not affect their connection. They are the true definition of family. Here comes the story I have been dying to read! Colt started out in this series as a suspect for being the rat but by the end of book 1 we find out that he is NOT the rat but dealing with the fact the girl he slept with for a week before he moved to Las Vegas is pregnant and that she's the president's daughter of another MC club
Oops?
In the ''Wrath'' book Colt was nowhere to be found as he was dealing with things in San Antonio, wanting to be there for the birth of his son and for the next early months before figuring out what to do with their distance.
I loved Colt and was a big fan of Kaitlyn. She was a strong character for me.
We find out that these two each had crushes on the other when they were in High School but never did anything because of who their fathers were and the different MC's not getting along. Fast forward to years later and they cannot deny themselves anymore so spend a week together which resulted in her getting pregnant.
Alongside the new baby story and the fact Colt must deal with her dads MC along with her parents, Colt's fathers MC was killed, and a few members are suspect. Colt spends the next few months trying to find out what the hell happened and wants to find his killer and the rats to clean house.
And yes, William is again somehow connected to all of this.
But you know who truly made me want to vomit in this book?
Katilyn's mom. OMFG I hated her, from the moment she never listened to her and has been trying to hook her up with another member (who was obsessed with her) RIGHT AFTER GIVING BIRTH, basically wanting Colt to fuck off and give her daughter away. It was disturbing how she was acting, and I swear after the second time she did weird shit, I knew I KNEW she was involved in some shady shit and would be the main villain in Kaitlyn's life.
Her dad though was stuck married to a psycho and the reasons for her ''psychotic break'' was not good enough for me and even more disturbing.
Her mom drugs her tea after basically barging AGAIN and kidnaps her.
Colt finds the rat after it's revealed that it's one of his dad's good friends and the treasurer of the MC (the one guy he liked a lot too) when he is hanging around Kaitlyn's mom and the guy, she wants her to be with (Morgue lol). They plan to kill Colt and deal with everyone who stands in their way which was insane.
What shocked me after that initial shock is the fact Kaitlyn kills her own mother because she is causing harm to not only her but to her son and to Colt. Talk about forever trauma.
Colt and Kaitlyn take this event to move away from Texas and go to Las Vegas.
And yes, the William plot is still not finished, and the next book won't be out until next year.
A few things to add regarding Colt and Kaitlyn:
1) He was celibate from the moment he moved to Las Vegas so was she. 2) He only wants her to call him Spencer (especially in bed) 3) He puts her first before the club and proved it over and over, despite her thinking he never would 4) These two were the healthiest pair. They had eyes only for each other.
The character development in this book was really good and I really liked the plot of this book. Though I will point out the pacing could’ve been better especially with plot points that were really drawn out but overall this was a good book.
I liked the relationship between Colt and Kaitlyn, but they spent a little too much time doing other things in the book rather than spending time together. We would get small scenes of them together, and then large sections of Colt dealing with club stuff. That’s just not my preference, I like the focus to be on the couple more than other things. I did like how sweet they were with the baby when we would get scenes with them together though.
After a Texas fling turns into a surprise pregnancy, Colt finds himself away from the club to do what’s right and take care of her and the baby. What he discovers is he finds it’s more than a fling. Kaitlyn didn’t want her life tied to the MC club. Having grown up with her father in is own club and a rival of the baby daddy things get tense between clubs. Their story takes through their journey of navigating life with a baby and the feelings they each have for one another. A few surprises have you trying to guess what will happen next, which I loved. It’s a great read with a HEA.
This was amazing. I loved the story. I just wish there were more of them before them, baby. It was crazy and a little shocking at times, but now I just want to read the next book.
This is book 3 in the Lotus MC series, and I am TELLING YOU, you’d think this author duo had been writing MC for YEARS. It is THAT good. Colt and Kaitlyn have it all! An amazing alpha and caring MMC with allllll the 𝒹𝒶𝒹𝒹𝓎 𝓋𝒾𝒷𝑒𝓈. Kaitlyn the MFC is sweet yet strong, knows what she wants, and won’t let anyone tell her what she can and can’t do. I loved the suspense and engaging story line and the SPICE was SPICINGGGG. The chemistry between these two is off-the-charts craziness. There is no denying one another, especially once they both get a big surprise. I absolutely love how all the side characters play such an integral role in the storyline in this series, it just makes me hungry for more! The twists had me absolutely shocked. Once you know, you’ll know… This is a fast-paced and engaging story that I didn’t want to put down. This is a 5-star series and this one does not disappoint! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Thank you to Love Notes PR, and the author, for providing me with this book for review and promotion.
3.5 STARS A really enjoyable romance. This is the first MC romance I've read, and after being full obsessed with Sons of Anarchy, I really don't know why it took me so long. I was incredibly invested in the relationship between these two, especially when we also had a long distance element, which is incredibly close to my heart. The level of MC drama mixed in with the relationship was a pretty perfect mix. Overall I can't rate it higher because I didn't absolutely love it, but I will be on the look-out for the other books in this series to get my fill!
Special thanks to Cala Riley and LoveNotes PR for the opportunity! 💌

Colt is the 3rd book in the Lotus MC series. I went into this without reading the first 2 but I loved the side characters so much I need their story too so guess what’s been added to my TBR 😂
Colt is a member of the Lotus Motorcycle Club who ends up having a brief fling with Kaitlyn. Her father Killer (🙄 the club names are kind of cringe but I get it) is President of their rivals, Noche Oscura. Fast forward 9 months and Kaitlyn is giving birth to her and Colt’s son Kolby. Right off the bat Colt is there by her side against the wishes of her parents although it’s presented that’s it’s more of a coparenting type situation and not romantic.
We have murder, family betrayal, matricide, and of course all the spice, along with a twist of an ending I didn’t see coming!
At first I couldn’t get past the names of the MC members but I ended up really enjoying this book and rooting for the MMC and FMC.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
Colt and Kaitlyn are Romeo and a Juliet vibes, since Kaitlyn is the daughter of the MC’s rival. Yet this does not stop Colt from being there for Kaitlyn as she transitions to motherhood. This couple definitely has you smiling! We also get some suspense and tension with the rivalry. Overall, a good story!
The plot was interesting but the execution was a miss for me. I couldn’t feel the connection to the characters because it just seemed rushed, and I couldn’t follow the time jumps.
#3 in the Lotus series and I was so darn excited to have Colt Daddy finally get his turn lol.
Two almost strangers at a bar finding solace in each other despite being sworn enemies has the recipe for some good forbidden tension between Colt and Kaitlyn. Add in forced proximity with a surprise to help mend the feud between families and a side of found family you have the recipe for the perfect edition to this amazing MC series.
We get to see a side of the VP that is gonna turn all women into puddles. Swoon city. He loves hard and he loves fiercely. So protective of what's his. Kaitlyn was perfect for him, growing up as the MC princess of the rival, her life and choices were never her own. Always someone in the background pulling her puppet strings, but with Colt she was free to be whatever she wanted. She thrived and she lived.
This book was so darn good. The series keeps getting better and better!
Ahh I adored Colt and Kaitlyn so much which comes to me by no surprise! I cannot even tell you how freaking good this was, I was so obsessed with the story and couple as I always am with this author duo. It kept me on the edge of my seat, the stakes are high and the intensity has your heart racing.
I adore how the moment Kaitlyn calls Colt about being pregnant he leaves immediately everything and goes to be there by her side. It may have started as a fling but it was never truly just that between them. They are so good together and I loved how deep their connection was, the passion with them was everything.
These two are so damn amazing as a couple, they're just so right for each other in every way and you can feel all the emotions and their incredible chemistry so well!
P. S. The way he called her 'little mama' had me meltinggg and baby Kolby had my heart!
So first thing is I hated Kaitlyns mother I couldn't stand her. Thinking she was better than everyone and forcing or trying to force her daughter to do things she didn't want. I'm sorry but what mother tries to get her daughter with a man she approves of when she has just had a baby with some else I was like nope sorry what the hellnis wrong with you and from then on I couldn't stand her. But Colt and Kaitlyn I loved Colt he tried his best to do right by Kaitlyn he loved her and his son. Kaitlyn I'm sceptical about her she acts sometimes like she's living under a rock but how much under a rock can you be when you grow up part of a MC. For me she need abit more of a back bone at times. But I did enjoy it and look forward to the next one.
I really really liked the story line and that is why I gave it a 4. I almost gave it a 3 because Kaitlyn annoyed me. I thought she was selfish in reference to their relationship and didn’t even consider him and his feeling about moving.
Colt by Cala Riley is book 3 in the Lotus MC series. This is an accidental pregnancy, forbidden romance between Spencer Brown aka Colt and Kaitlyn ‘Katie’ aka ‘Little Mama”. A story of a couple proving their love could overcome obstacles and finding a way to be together against the odds. Their romance unfolds against a backdrop of betrayal, revenge and murder involving the rival MC’s.
Colt is Reaper’s VP and due to his recent secretive behaviour, he had been under suspicion while the MC searched for who was betraying them. It turned out that on his last visit home the sparks between him and Kaitlyn had ignited and they had given into their feelings. Now he was going to be a dad, but she was part of a rival MC in Texas. They had known each other in high school and both had a crush on the other. He thought she was beautiful but couldn’t talk to her due to their circumstances. He wished she wasn’t the princess of the Noche Oscura and she wished he wasn’t a member of the Lotus MC. Both their fathers are the presidents of their clubs so their romance is forbidden.
They have kept in touch while she was pregnant and when she goes into labour he dashes to her side. Her dad not happy he’s there and wants him to leave but he stands up to him. He adores and loves his son Kolby, so will she give him the chance to be the dad he wants to be. They have to cope with being new parents and getting to know each other while everyone is against them. They are worried what they are going to do because he can’t change from Vegas to the San Antonio Chapter due to a bad relationship with his father. She can’t leave the only life she has known.
Colt is very protective and is amazing with both Katie and Kolby, performing all his daddy duties. He knows he has obligations to his club but he is desperate to prove to her there is nowhere else he’d rather be and she would be his priority over the MC. A tragic event leads to more problems for them and Colt is left not knowing who to trust. Luckily Fang travelled with him and is there to help the couple. He is an absolute sweetie and I loved how he advises Colt to not let her go if he wants her.
Who causing trouble with the MC’s and who will be targeted next, who is being framed and who is loyal? Is one of his club’s enemies causing problems and are things worse than Colt first thought? Katie gets caught up in the drama and starts wondering what would her life be like if she moved with him to Vegas. If they stayed could Colt and her father find a way to get on and work together. When Reaper, Natalie, Wrath and Midnight all arrive to help Colt, she sees what a good MC chapter is like.
I understood her reluctance to leave but thought Colt worked so hard to show her he’d do anything for her and Kolby. He had so much going on but was always there for her. There is a HEA for this couple after all the twists and surprises. There is also some sad news and a shocking revelation that leads us into the next book. The bonus epilogue sets up Midnight’s story.
The story centers around Colt, a dedicated member of an MC, who finds his life turned upside down when Kaitlyn, a woman he had a memorable fling with, calls to inform him she’s pregnant with his child. Despite the chaos and responsibilities that come with this revelation, Colt knows there’s no other place he should be than with Kaitlyn and their unborn baby. His return to Texas is filled with mixed emotions, not just because of his lingering feelings for Kaitlyn, but also due to the political tension of being in another chapter’s territory.
Kaitlyn, on the other hand, always dreamed of motherhood but never anticipated it would involve the complexities of MC life, especially with someone from a rival club. Her relationship with Colt brings joy and tension as they embark on the journey of new parenthood. However, their lives take a dark turn when a murder within Colt’s club points to her father’s MC, thrusting them into a dangerous conflict that tests their loyalty and love.
Cala Riley skillfully portrays the raw and passionate dynamics between Colt and Kaitlyn, creating a narrative filled with tension, romance, and suspense. The chemistry between the two protagonists is palpable, and their struggle to balance personal desires with the demands of their respective MCs adds depth to their characters.
The novel excels in its depiction of MC life, capturing the brotherhood, the codes of honor, and the conflicts that arise within and between clubs. Riley’s writing brings authenticity to the story, making the reader feel the weight of the decisions and the stakes involved. The murder mystery adds an intriguing layer to the plot, keeping readers on the edge of their seats as they unravel the truth alongside the characters.
Colt is more than just a romance; it’s a story about finding where you belong, making sacrifices for those you love, and standing firm in the face of adversity. Kaitlyn’s desire to be a priority and Colt’s dedication to protecting his family and seeking justice create a powerful narrative that resonates deeply.
Cala Riley has crafted a tale that is as heartwarming as it is thrilling, with characters that are both relatable and compelling. Colt is a must-read for anyone who enjoys a romance steeped in adventure, loyalty, and the rugged allure of MC life.
Oh, Colt. You big, bike riding, tatted, soft teddy bear daddy. I've been looking for a MC series to fill my gaps because Tarnished Angels and Vikings MC don't come out again until October. Lotus MC is my new favorite. I remember with the cover reveal back in May, the girls of Cala Riley said that Colt was a teddy bear when we needed him to be and damn were they right. You could visualize him just standing outside the door and shaking off the day of all things motorcycle club before he walked in and turned on dad mode with Kaitlyn and Kolby. I loved it. I love how both of these characters were the next generation of their own clubs. And that they went to high school together but never acted on their feelings because of being from rival clubs. They stole one week together in secret that resulted in, you guessed it, baby Kolby. Kaitlyn's dad was none too happy when he showed up at the hospital for the birth and then Colt just kept showing up. Regardless of being the VP of the rival club, Colt made it very known and clear that he was the dad and he wasn't leaving his post. That the Texas Lotus chapter and Kaitlyn's dad's club would have to get with it and just be okay with Colt being there for his son and baby momma. He did everything in his power to show her that he wasn't leaving. That he was going to protect them. And that they would be his first priority, even to the club ranking. I loved watching Kaitlyn's view on how she didn't want to leave her dad. I understand that being a daddy's girl. And she thought she had the built in support system. Even if her mother was psychotic. I was glad to see chapter after chapter Kaitlyn learning that every club isn't like the one she grew up in. That the Lotus men put their women and family first. that they in themselves were a family and leaving Texas to go to Vegas would get her a new support system that would be better than the one she thought she had. The mystery weaving thru this story was great and goes thru the series. Corrupt politicians causing chaos. Psychotic mothers and shady club members. It's definitely a new MC for me and I'll be setting on the edge of my seat until the new stories come out. I cain't wait to see how Savage takes control of the Texas chapter. And I'm ready for the single dad biker to come. Thank you to Cala Riley for trusting me with an early copy of their baby. I finished it before release day and then had to set on it for a minute to come down from all my emotions. That's when you know a book is perfect.
This is the 3rd book in the Lotus MC series but it can be read as a standalone.
Colt and Kaitlyn are forbidden from 2 rival MCs but when the fling turns into an accidental pregnancy they have to navigate that. Colt falls hard and fast for Kaitlyn, he is protective of both Kaitlyn and Kolby, their baby. This man would do anything for his girl and their baby even if it went against what Kaitlyn’s father wants since he is the president of the rival MC. I loved being able to spend time with Colt and Kaitlyn and watching them fall in love and navigate their new relationship. They grew as parents, a couple, and a family while dealing with the drama of a murder. Colt has always wanted Kaitlyn while Kaitlyn never wanted to be someone’s second priority to the MC but Colt shows Kaitlyn that she and their baby are his number one priority. I loved watching Colt and Kaitlyn try to be co-parents without being in a relationship to finally biting the bullet and getting their chance and happily ever after. I can’t wait to dive into the rest of the Lotus MC series and read about everyone else and watch them get their happily ever after. Colt’s nickname for Kaitlyn being little mama was everything and swooned every time he used it and his MC brothers adopted that nickname for her road name. While Kaitlyn calling Colt by his real name and not his road name made me swoon.
Favorite Moments & Quotes
“You have nothing to be sorry for. Besides, I would rather you call me than not in situations like that.” “You say that now, but Colt, you were doing club business, and I know that comes first.” “You’re wrong. Club business does not come first. Maybe that’s how you;re used to things being, but that's not how our club works.” “You and Kolby are my main priority, no matter what. Yeah, sometimes club business might hold me up for a little bit, but I need you to know, I will always come to you as soon as I can. CLub business is important, and when I have no reason not to, I need to prioritize it, but it will never, ever, be more important than you or Kolby. My brothers understand that and agree with it.”
High school crushes. Rival MC prince, and princess. Meet cute at a bar years later.
A week held up in a hotel room just the two of them, until reality sets in and they must get back to their own lives. That is until months later, Kaitlyn calls saying that she is pregnant. They aren't sure what will happen, but they plan to do it together.
Colt, being brought up in the mc world is not for the weak, but being the son of the president is a whole different ballgame. With a mother who chose drugs over being a mom, and a father who chose the club over being a dad, Colt was groomed to be a VP of a Lotus MC chapter. The day he got the call that Kaitlyn was pregnant his whole life changed, but the day his son was born it was all for the better. Now he just had to prove himself to her and her father the president of the rival MC. The thing about life is when happiness comes it seems to be followed by some sort of storm that wants to rain on the parade. The storm of betrayal has rolled into town and it's going to be messy.
Kaitlyn, being an MC princess is not all it's cracked up to be. You may have this great title, but none of the power, there is always someone telling you what to do, how to do it, and who what they think is best for you. Only have you ever met a princess who doesn't rebel and do what she wants no matter the consequences? Well, you aren't going to find one here either, she knew who he was the minute she saw him at that bar, but she didn't care anymore. It was just supposed to be a little fling, it wasn't supposed to end with her being pregnant with the enemies' baby, but Colt wasn't what she expected, not at all. He was so much more.
Plot: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Spice: 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ (Colt has a mouth on him😏)
Cala Riley, my loves, wow I am not typically one for the pregnancy trope, but I enjoyed watching Colt be the father he never had, and Kaitlyn be the mother that she always wanted for herself.
So I am one of those people who love the accidental pregnancy trope. Throw in forbidden, forced proximity and found family and I am all in!
We get a glimpse of Colt and Kaitlyn on where they met in the past and then in the present. Kaitlyn has family who is part of a rival mc for Colt. Colt is there for when Kaitlyn gives birth and he refuses to leave town after the baby is born despite Kaitlyns parents and clubs attempts to get him to leave.
I loved how this book had some suspense in it. When I read the previous books in this series I was expecting suspense to be part of the plot and that didn't disappoint. Colt will do everything to protect Kaitlyn and their son Kolby regardless of what MC he is part of.
Colt is everything you want in a protective MC who has the touch her and d*e vibes. The way this man went above and beyond for those he loves and cares about is everything. He was willing to leave his found family behind if that is what Kaitlyn had wanted him to do despite him not having the best memories in their hometown. I also loved how Colt's club stepped up when he called and they were instantly there for. That showed Kaitlyn how different the two clubs were and started opening her eyes to the possibility of change. I will add my heart broke for Kaitlyn and what happened with her mom...I mean she got what was coming but nobody deserves that trauma and heartbreak.
Thank you to Cala for the ARC of this book and Lovenotes PR.
Now possible spoiler: The only thing I had a hard time with was when Kaitlyn slightly came across selfish. In her inner monologue she was always pushing away the idea of change and moving to where Colts family was. It took her a long time to even consider his feelings and with the length of the book that somewhat bothered me but not enough to stop reading. I also wish we saw more of the club interactions with the other old ladys and Kaitlyn that was what I missed in this book that we got to see in the other 2 books in this series.
This is book #3 in Lotus MC series and I have been so excited for Colt’s book! He always seemed a little bit of an enigma and quiet for being VP so I wasn’t sure how serious he took his role in the MC. Turns out, I had nothing to fear because he loves his MC family. After a brief affair with the girl he crushed on but was forbidden due to being from rival MC’s. Kaitlyn similarly crushed on Colt from afar for so long, and knew that her father wouldn’t approve so what is the harm in a little fun. So when two little pink lines change Kaitlyn and Colt’s life forever. Both of them took parenting veryseriously, and for different reasons. Colt had always had a little bit of a tumultuous relationship with his own father and Kaitly with her mother. Of course their families, mostly Kaitlyn’s family had a lot to say about her co-parenting with Colt. But these two were solely focused on their little family and their baby. Their chemistry and friendship was written so well, and it was obvious they were falling deeply in love with one another. Colt showed readers both his vicious VP side but his loving and protective side as well. He cared for Kaitley and their baby so well. One aspect of this book that I think inparticul was well done was the writing of the dynamics of the MC. The brotherhood and family that they have but also the curription and deception that is sometimes prevalent depending on the leaders. There were a lot of twists and turns making you wonder who side everyone was on. I was on the edge of my seat waiting for it all to play out. If you love an interconnected stand alone with some an hero that dotes on his heroine, is uber protective, takes no crap from others, and has an amazing found family the Lotus MC definitely needs to be on your radar! Cala Riley I cannot wait for what is next in the Lotus MC keep ‘em coming!!!
i'm so happy colt finally got his own book; he was always in the background of the other books, and we finally get to see what's happening with his baby mama drama. he's returned to his hometown so he can be there for his son, but he doesn't exactly arrive to a warm welcome. kaitlyn is not only the mother of his child, but she's also the daughter of a rival mc president. her father is not happy to see the two together, and there's a lot of tension.
i didn't really connect with her as a character. she's a little naive at times and too trusting with the wrong people; she gives them second chances or brushes their red flags off but then tries to change colt and convince him to stay in a town he hates. she struggles a little with finding herself after becoming a mother, and we don't get to see much of her outside of this, so it was hard for me to relate to her. i wish we got to see more of her through interactions with other characters outside of her little family and father.
i liked the change of scenery in this book; we get to see a different chapter of the lotus mc and a rival mc, the noche oscura. there's some stuff going down in the chapter, and colt has to step in to solve a mystery. there's some betrayal involved, and i loved trying to guess what was going to happen. i also liked how this mystery brought colt closer to kaitlyn’s father, and they ended up developing a nice friendship, which i totally didn't expect.
colt was mostly alone in this book, except for his family and one member of his mc, so there wasn't as big a found family trope as previous books, which i missed. the mc did make some appearances towards the end, but i wish they had some more scenes because i really love them all together.
i would recommend this book if you like: - mc romance - accidental pregnancy - close proximity - alpha hero - found family
Each book in the Lotus MC series just keeps getting better. I think I love that no matter the issues, the brotherhood is there, even when one of them (well two) are in a totally different state. Colt has only ever had eyes for a certain lady back home. He knew he would never be good enough for the MC Princess, no matter what, so he left Texas as soon as he could. When he goes back to see his mom, he gets one amazing night with her, and they use that entire night to their advantage. Enter a pregnancy and a soon to be father that will do anything for his baby and little mama. Kaitlyn, knows that there are some big things she needs to figure out and the most important is how to tell her father that Colt from a rival MC is his grandbaby’s father and that she actually is really happy about it. Here is what you are going to get with Colt, a story about two people that find each other and will do anything for them. They have to make some big decisions on where they are going to live, but also deal with some things happening in the background that has Colt on high alert. Honestly getting to get all this time with Colt gives you a new appreciation for him and just how far he will go for Kaitlyn. We get a look at the bigger issue that was introduced in Reaper but since this book was mainly based away from the main club, it is just a glance. What I will say is that this book was amazing. We get so much packed in and witness a found family or in this case a brotherhood, that is stronger than anything else. I love Colt and his Little Mama, and their connection is strong and true. There is never a hint of an issue beyond Kaitlyn needing to make some decisions and the way she relies on Colt makes you smile. I am so ready for the next book!
↓↓ I've been waiting for more on Colt since the first book and I think he has stolen the spot for my fave of the series so far.
To everyone Colt comes across as this tough man associated with the Lotus MC but when around Kaitlyn he is this sweet, extremely protective man. I absolutely loved everything Cole is, he has to find the balance of being a new dad while also still being apart of Lotus MC and all the issues that come with the rival MC that Kaitlyn is associated with.
Kaitlyn has grown up in the MC lifestyle and always knew that she never wanted any part in it when she was older. When she has an incredible time with Colt, things take an unexpected turn when she ends up pregnant and ends up back in the lifestyle of the MC.
This story has so many twists and turns that will have you trying to figure out what will happen next. I really enjoyed the brotherhood of both MC's and while these two got their HEA, we are left with some questions of other members of the MC and I can not wait for the next in the series!

Finally getting to read Colt’s book after the way book 2(Wrath) ended with the mystery behind Colt and all his disappearances, I was already over here like “gimme gimme!!” Lol
I gotta say I was hooked from page 1 of the prologue. It left you thinking oh gosh what is in the way of both these people?! But I loved that was how their story started. I felt like it really put into perspective how much these two were meant to be.
Then jumping right into chapter 1 and I was even more hooked. I loved Colt so much, through Wrath is still my man! But seeing how Colt was with Kaitlyn and then their son was so sweet and heartwarming. I was not expecting him to be fully like how he was but gosh it just makes you love him even more.
Kaitlyn took me a little to fully like her. There wasn’t anything really wrong with who she was but her indecisive attitude about what she wanted to do with her life/family I was slightly annoyed with. I was like come on girlllll just go with Colt. Then at the same time I got why she was like that too. I mean with the mother she had, never hated a mother so much as this lady right here!! I also loved her relationship with her dad but I didn’t like how he never wanted her to leave. So I was happy with him at the end.
I love this series so much, it is a top MC romance series of mine that will forever be in my heart. I am excited for what is next to come as each book gets better and better! . . . 4️⃣.5️⃣⭐️ 🌶️🌶️🌶️ 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻 9/10 recommendation
Once again the duo of Cala Riley gives us a story of true love that is forbidden. We finally get to swoon over Colt, the VP of the Lotus MC Vegas chapter. I have been intrigued by him and his character since book one. His story is filled with danger, angst, twists and turns, heartbreak and riveting moments. Colt and the one woman who owns his heart, Kaityln, spend a week together wrapped up in one another's arms. It seems they are perfect for one another, but there is one big problem: they are from two different MCs. A turn of events brings them back together in Texas, a baby. Here is where life takes so many turns and lives are lost. Colt has so much on his plate but Kaitlyn and Kolby, their son, are his priority. The way that he cares for both Kaitlyn and Kolby. When he was talking to his son, my ovaries were working overtime. Kaitlyn's father is the Prez of another MC, which causes a lot of turmoil with Kaitlyn, Colt and himself. A heartbreaking event brings the two men in her life together to fight for the same cause. I loved how Killer, her dad, and Colt buried the hatchet and came together to find answers and deal with the trash. Drama, secrets and revenge are at the turn of every page. You think you know what is happening or who is involved, but then Cala Riley throws you in a different direction. I can't wait for the next installment in this addictive, page-turner series.
I absolutely adore the Lotus MC & Colts story was pretty good. Colt is the VP of the Lotus MC in Vegas, but what happens when he finds himself in the bedroom with the daughter of an MC located in another state, let’s not forget they quickly fall for each other but know things aren’t going to work, that’s until 9 months later & Kolby enters the world. Kaitlyn has grown up around an MC her whole life since her father Killer is the president of one, but now that she has a baby with a different MCs VP, things become a little tense between everyone. She becomes the Little Mama everyone calls her because she is fierce when it comes to her little one especially when it comes to her mother. Some stuff did feel a little off with her mother, so when everything went south & secrets came out I was kind of expecting it cause she was definitely a nut. Colt is obviously possessive of his family & when he finally goes all in it becomes so much sweeter for remainder of the book. Colt is a man that loves to worship his old lady, but has no problem making her his good girl on her knees. Also we can’t leave out Colt is the best father to his little boy, my heart full on swooned every time. My heart broke so much for Honk then to Rogue & Fend, it was a crazy ride all the way to the end but it was so worth it. I love this author & this MC so much, I feel like I’m reading my own version of Sons of Anarchy & I can’t get enough especially with Savage being next.
