Summers in Seaside

The Men of Summer

Their greatest responsibility might be their most rewarding challenge.

After Dante came to terms with being bi five years ago, he fought for our second chance and we quickly settled into a routine… until life threw us a curveball. A responsibility neither of us envisioned.

We struggle to find balance while Dante’s on the road with his band. It can get lonely sometimes, but mostly working from home as an ethical hacker, keeping my personal life under wraps, and raising a child who’s not actually ours keeps me busy. I capture the mundane moments Dante’s missing, one photo at a time. We may not be a picture-perfect family, but I can live with that… as long as nobody gets hurt in the process.

I’ll do anything to protect them. A found family. A beautiful family. My family.

The Men of Summer is a Found Family Romance, with a spin on Secret Baby, that is part of the Summers in Seaside Series. It's currently available for preorder and a Boys of Summer sequel: Both books follow the same couple, but each story stands alone. No cliffhanger!

This book follows Dante and Zayn as adults. A younger version of these two took center stage in The Boys of Summer, but this book stands alone (although Easter eggs exist for those who read both).

I love that the book features an established adult relationship (though they still have their own insecurities, which mirrors real life) rather than the usual 18-24 YO age range seen in popular books.

The story flows and covers two decades effortlessly, and it was fun to watch Jeremy grow up/mature/blossom alongside his adoptive parents. The banter between the men is endearing, as is seeing how each influences Jeremy’s life.

A fast character-driven read that will leave you begging for more.

Wow! I absolutely loved this book. Amazing characters and wonderful plot. Very beautifully written and easy to read.

This book follows Dante and Zayn as adults. They now live a great life. Dante realised who he is and what he wants in life. Dante gets a little gone call from his father that will forever change his life. Jeremy is growing up and becoming a teenager. I loved the chemistry and passion between Dante and Zayn. They were made for each other.

Overall I loved this book very much. If you’re looking for a found family, secret baby romance then you’re going to love it.

This is a cute love story between Dante and Zayn, as well as their relationship with their son Jeremy as he grows up. It takes place over the course of over twenty years and we see their love grow and blossom. There were good times and bad times, and they stood by each other through it all. Dante and Zayn make a great couple and they share sweet and steamy scenes throughout the book.

This read took us on a journey with Dante and Zayn. The twists that life tossed at them and how they handled the ups and downs of family, work, and the emotions of raising an adorable little boy. It was an interesting take, as it takes their story through the years and comes in at different times to check in. I really liked the characters, their heart, and their dedication to each other.

I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

Dante and Zayn are now living a great life. It took Dante realize who and want he really wanted in life. But the two of them are making it. But then one day Dante gets a phone call from his father than will forever change his life, Zayn's life and their relationship. Will they make it and live happy ever after?
Jeremy is growing up and becoming a teenager will he be able to deal with the effects of having 2 dads raising him one being famous.
I absolutely loved this one. It really shows you what families go through when they are treated differently by everyone else. It shows you how they can overcome all of that to live and love.
A well written enjoyable book.

Time for Family

Zayn and Dante are now adults and know what they want and that is to be together as a family. Obstacles present themselves that need to be dealt with but overall, this story was well written and very enjoyable. Raising their son Jeremy was one of the best parts and really showed the growth and development of these characters. While it is not necessary to read "The Boys of Summer, " doing so will provide more background to their overall story. However, I found this book particular book to be charming and could not put it down.

I received an ARC of this book and voluntarily leave this review.
