Be unleashed, my Knight. They were warned before against crossing us and did not heed it. Teach them to fear you.
The Resonance is underway, and Ty has been captured.
After his incredible experiences at the Tournament of Scions, Ty is back on Earth. Surrounded by a literal army of enemy scions and monsters, the fate of all he's built hangs in the balance.
The time has come for the Knight of the Wild to anneal his various and strange powers into something greater than the sum of their parts. If he cannot, it will mean the end of not one universe but three.
Dear Readers, the Resonance is well underway. In Knight Unleashed, our hero will face dragons, newborn gods, and much more. Hold onto your seats - you're in for a wild ride.
The book ended at 87%. It does have two previews and some bonus chapters. This series is no longer available on Royalroad. Mistakes I have found will be listed on Goodreads.
The MC is no longer even close to human, but the story says he isn't a god or a demigod, yet he can rip holes in reality. So what exactly is he? I personally liked the MC better when he had all his social issues. Now he has a brother, A clone and other relationships. You know that he is going to win every single fight he gets in, so for me the story has lost some of its shine. Don't get me wrong it's still a decent story despite the mistakes and the fact that the MC has reached the OP point of the story.
7/10 Nothing new really. Just the MC going around beating the bad guys. But sometimes that is all you need.
A wild, wild, wild ride, so Ty's abilities are truly diverse, I was thinking how will he be able to pull off his abilities but Mr. Renfroe made it fantastic, Ty has now truly been unleashed and what a way to let it loose, I was hoping that despicable Mir would have lasted longer but he got what he deserved in the end, above all again I was mislead with the plot and the path of our story, I was not prepared to read Ty surrendered, and was tortured again (Ty you masochistic dummy).
This Book was really tight and full of battles, and they were BATTLES!!!! Again there were so many ways that this could have gone, and again not the way I was hoping and thinking, if the 5 star review was not enough of a hint to how this story is going, I do not know what else will.......
Had to drop this. The "romance" turned me off of this book hard. All his romantic relationships seem gross. People constantly offer to sleep with the MC (he blushes and ignores it) and I'm not sure what that's supposed to be adding to the story. The author had a good story going but at this point I can't keep reading with this kind of thing thrown in my face every other chapter.
This first part of this book is like a car chase that goes on wayyy too long in a movie. Should have ended the last book with it instead of doing the cheap cliffhanger, would have been better for both books. Story is getting a little thin and a little convoluted.
It's getting very copy paste, the MC is entering heavy plot armor boring OP phase, constantly getting put in a bad spot then getting an epiphany or other deus ex that saves him. Also him screaming cringe sayings anime style during attacks is getting worse and worse.
You can only do the same thing so many times before it loses its shine.
It's been a good series to date, and this one remains solid. Lots going on and quite a bit of character development keeps things moving. We're at least one, possibly two books away from what I feel would be a natural end, but we'll see if I'm even in the ballpark. Regardless, based on past and recent performance I'll definitely read book 7 at the very least.
