She calls him daddy from pretty much the first moment she sees him. I've never liked the term "daddy" as a kink. It feels like you want to have spicy time with your father. Usually, it's just during spicy time when a character says it, but not in this book. In this Fated mates book, she dubs the MMC Daddy and pretty much only calls him that. I can usually ignore it in most books, but it's so prevalent and cringe in this one.

The story itself was fine. Alpha finds true mate. She is not in a pack since her mom has kept them on the run her whole life. The secret as to why is revealed, and now she is in grave danger and needs daddy to save her. There is a lot of spice, of course lots and lots of spice.

This was my first book by Kora Raine, and I absolutely loved it!
I was hooked from the beginning, and I absolutely devoured this book!

Another amazing book by Kira Raine. Darkness Calls was beyond hot and spicy and had such an amazing story. I had the pleasure of being an ARC reader of Darkness Calls and I highly recommend it!!! It was so good, I absolutely can’t wait until the next one :D

A Book That Is Perfect For Someone Looking For Spicy Rmance With A Hero To The Rescue

I loved this novella. It was so spicy but also had good plot and depth. It did seem like it didn't have enough plot in between some spicy scenes but that was definitely made up for later. I loved the characters and I loved how I was able to read this book in one sitting because it had such an easy-to-read flow. A very good twist that wasn't drawn out also kept me reading as it wasn't such a long part of the plot that I wanted to stop reading. This but did the opposite and kept me intrigued and focused. Very good novella and I definitely recommend it to someone who lives a quick and spicy read with wolf shifters!

Ceren has been on the run most of her life, never staying in the same place for too long, but never knowing why. Ryker is the Alpha of the Moon River Pack, who finds his mate in Ceren. When her past catches up to her, it's up to Ryker and his pack to protect Ceren from the Alpha who wants to own her.

I enjoyed the story, I mean who doesn't enjoy shifter mates? I did feel the end was a bit rushed, like some information was missing (whether intentionally glossing over parts, or just not included in the final cut).

Omgoodness, this is an amazing Novella. U have wolf shifters, and Ryker is absolutely amazing. I love his and his mate's connection. And i can't wait to read more bout them and Nathan and his mate. If u haven't read anything from Kora, ur definitely missin out she is an amazing writer.

This book was amazing! Darkness Calls was my first shifter/fated mates romance and I was very pleased! The main characters Ceren and Ryker are so easy to fall in love with. The book was easy to follow with great smut and noticeable plot! Would recommend!
