Gorgeous billionaire heartthrob and real estate developer Marshall Bach never met a piece of land he didn’t want to purchase nor a piece of wetland he didn’t want to possess. A man alone who gave up on love decades ago, he has nothing but his work to keep him warm. But when he meets Sabrina Turner, what he thought would be a one-night stand upends his life in ways he cannot comprehend. But just as they come together, they are torn apart.

But when fate intervenes and lands her right back in his lap, he decides to possess her. But once he has her, what is he going to do with her? And when a child gets involved, he quickly realizes that Bree Turner is not a piece of land he can possess and bend to his own will, but a strong, independent woman who will accept nothing less than total love and commitment from two words Marshall Bach knows nothing about. And when the tables turn and it is Bree who must lift Marshall up, will they finally find their happily ever after? Or will so many other obstacles come along to tear them apart once again?

That connection never died

Sabrina Turner not only knocked Marshall Bach down, she bowled him over. There was this instant connection that told Marsh that Bree was THE ONE. He was a confirmed bachelor and wanted to remain so but Bree had him rethinking that commitment. She felt that connection too. Her best friend Andre Washington tried to talk her out of her dinner date with Marsh but she had to see where it was going for herself. They spent an incredible three days together that had Marsh dreaming and thinking about her every day while on an emergency business trip, he got the most shocking news of his life that also broke Bree's heart.

Four years later, the connection was still there, but this time Marshall was not going to leave her again. She was too good for him to drag her into his cutthroat life. But now Dani was involved and both mother and daughter needed his protection and he would do whatever it took to protect them and he did.

I just loved the unconventional relationship between Andre, his wife Sharon, and Bree. They were truly good friends. Natalie Gilbert got just what she deserved. I wish Mallory would have written about Marsh getting his revenge on Doylan Struthers for lying. When you hear the statement that " money is the root of all evil," this is true with everyone in this story except Bree Andre and Sharon. Connor Rogers was downright disgusting, all engrossed in power and money and bigotry.

I loved the ending of the story how Marsh wanted his family first before he told Danica anything. He got what he always wanted and that was a family of his own.

Back to the way it was!

Great read. I was glad to see the drama and more pages. Truly reminded me of the way the author used to write when first bringing the Reno, Sal Luca, Tommy, Big Daddy, and children books, she still has great reads and pages for Mick but the others are shorter and far and between. Brought out the younger children too soon in my opinion.

I am still waiting on the story for the last son of Big Daddy. Just love the series. Maybe time for me to start over. Until next month when I look everyday for the next story and I buy without even having to know who it’s about….lol.

What A Wonderful Christmas Story…Love Came for Christmas, Indeed!! 🥰🥰

I absolutely loved this story! I purchased it today, started it and finished it!! But that’s how I read all the books by Ms. Mallory! She’s a gifted storyteller, but this particular book was truly amazing!

I loved the instantaneous recognition they both saw in each other at first meeting! Things moved on from that moment on a crazy rollercoaster ride!! There were some surreal moments, but the journey was well worth it for Bree and Marsh in the end!

This is an excellent Christmas Love Story! Grab your copy and enter into the world of Sabrina and Marshall, obstacles and all!! You’ll be so glad you did!! I highly recommend this book!! Kudos, Mallory!! 💜

The best

You write the best book s. Your men in these books are take no mess kind of guys. Strong. Supportive, and real. Women, we!! Once they realize what they're men are they have there backs. Your books I read are again what I will continue to purchase and read please do not change anything about your style of writing. So many of the authors I have been reading are boring, only sex, sex, sex no plots, no intrigue, no mystery, weak women giving it up out of both drawlegs, weak men only wanting the same. Rags to riches is a hit for me. The big daddy books ,and nick the trick books are good also. But nick could be a bit more real with his love for his wife. Keep up the excellent work .you. Have me watching and waiting for the next book.

Mallory Monroe has written a masterpiece with this story! I am hoping for a sequel to this one! I could not put it down! All the characters played a pivotal role around the main characters (Sabrina aka "Bree" and Marshall aka "Marsh"). I was hoping to see more of a take down of racist Connor Rogers and his evil ranting against Bree and other folks. That Doylan Struthers needed another "beat-down"! That ex-Natalie got her just desserts! I am also happy that Sharon and Andre remained tight with our main characters and everything turned out nice! Great story!

Excellent

Me Monroe does not disappoint and she excelled with this seasonal read. Ohh it was just brilliant I read in one sitting. As always full in-depth characters with storytelling that flowed better than any mighty river I care to compare it too. Lots of twists and turns to keep you guessing. I hope in the new year that she does a follow up with these characters. Outstanding I recommend you will thank me 😉

It was good, but why does she always leave something unresolved or a justice unmet? I am still not over the public abuse the daughter in "Gentleman James and Gina" endured at the hands of the townsfolk. I refuse to read the book again because of it. Clear it all up. Books are not messy like life. Ms. Monroe, you are in control.

Yes, it’s April and I read a Christmas story. I was in a book slump and I forgot I had this book shelved.

I enjoyed every page of this story. By far, the best out of the “Rags to Riches” stories. I just wish that Bree’s name was criminally cleared.

Highly recommended. No matter what season it is, read it!

Marsh's explanation was accepted to easily by Bree.
Bree's protection of her family is understandable. One situation left unresolved, is clearing up her past and bringing those responsible to task. Great to see Bree's family remaining intact.

Loved The Who Done It!!!

I'm really happy that I couldn't figure out the who done it. But I would have liked more details on the city council leader. Have to admit , there are more typo's lately. Especially with the price raise

I found the book gripping and emotional, i couldn't put the book down i must say i feel like the end is not finished as it seemed a bit rushed in places there was not enough story to the ex wife and what will happen to her young son.

CHRISTMAS LOVE

Ms. Monroe has to be my favorite author and I do have a few. Love Comes for Christmas was great, Founding and losing love on Christmas can be hard, but when it’s true love it will works itself out, especially if you find the right bad boy.

Ummm

I don't want to give away any spoilers but I have to say that the heroine in this work of art is to smart for the mess that she allowed to go on. Yeah, kinda hard to get through this one. She was to smart for this.

Did not seem to flow well. A lot was going on and sometimes just seemed confusing. What happened with Nickie's son?

Great story

I really enjoyed this book, I don’t celebrate Christmas but I did like how the story line went. My parents played their Christmas song every year when I was a child. They had that soulmate connection and reading about it was so refreshing. You are batting 98% I’m still a fan.
