Dasher

Rate this book
A holiday shifter/monster mashup with fated but forbidden love.

KRAMPUS:

A mysterious new business is poaching workers from my pleasure club, and I have an idea of who’s behind it. My rivalry with Santa is legendary from our competing businesses to the way we handle the holidays, making my half-brother's new does top the naughty list for questioning. Especially one fluttery, pink-haired beauty that’s too enticing to my inner demon.

No one is that innocent. I can't wait to get Dasha Dasher into a private room and uncover everything about her.

DASHA:

Gaining the gift of flying isn’t the only perk as Santa’s new Dasher. The rest of the year, I get to work next to the other reindeer shifters at his mystical gentleman’s club instead of living in a chilly North Pole barn.

At least my aunt is training me, though that hasn’t been all glitter and cocoa. She owned every spotlight when she was a flyer. She’s trying hard to mold me into what she was—smooth, sensual, and able to fake lust without making weird faces.

If I can’t get my act together, Santa will revoke my flying powers, fire me from the club, and then I won’t get to see the intriguing horned legend that makes my skin heat when he watches me.

Got this for review on netgally.

I wanted to read more Christmas themed books thisnyear but more fun and diffrent. This looked interesting with a deer shifter, krampus, fated mates and stripp club which is a mix I didn't know I needed. It was a fun story with a lot of drama, sexy times and a great romance between the deer shifter and krampus. Lived all the characters around them as well even the bad ones. Very entertaining read.

Honestly this book was kind of strange…. I didnt know how to take it…. Shifter reindeer becomes dancer in the non Christmas fly day! It was just strange….

Then you get Krampus, who is Santa’s brother… i honestly still don’t know what to make of it! BUT HOLY SPICE!!!!!!! 🤭🤤

I say strange, and not knowing what to make of it BUT THAT IS DEFINITELY NOT A BAD THING!!!!!!!!!!

This book was amazing and more!!!!! Had me kicking my legs in the air and squealing NEEDING more.

I cannot say anything more because I’m legitimately in awe!!!!!

Holy Hotness! Santa is a very bad boy in the off season! He owns a strip club and his reindeer are actually all female shifters that strip for the club when not flying his sleigh! Jack Frost is a rich VIP, Krampus is Santa's brother and owns a competing club and new little flyer, Dasha Dancer, is in way over her head! This has to be the most fun erotica that I have ever read! This book totally has the potential to be a series and I dearly hope it will be as the characters are fun, the plot is spicy with entertaining dialogue and the spice is definitely hot, hot, hot! If you are going to get your panties in a wad over the fact that someone as wholesome as Santa is a very, very bad Santa then you should go read something else, but if you can deal with childhood idols being sssexy and bad in all the best ways, then this book is right up your alley!!!

Dasher was a VERY unique way to write about Santa and his reindeer. Did I like it? No. But did I appreciate the creativity? Absolutely.

Dasher is a hostess at Santa's club but also has been chosen to pull Santa's sleigh and has a lot of expectations to live up to. All those weigh heavily on her and she forgets to really think about what makes her happy. Dasher was kind of a flighty character and I found her exhausting. Maybe I'm just a grump.

When she meets Krampus and recognizes him as her mate they'll have to navigate how they're possibly going to work. Dasher is a ball of sunshine and Krampus is a grumpy bear but these two were pretty cute together. I really liked Krampus' character. He was a good mixture of possessive and protective. I thought the story itself lacked some cohesion but overall it was an interesting read.

This was an incredibly interesting take on Santa, his reindeer and Krampus.

I love the pairing with Dasha's sunny disposition and Krampus' grumpy one. I have enjoyed the way Dasha was able to shine and to grow into her own shoes when let free of her family. The kind of freedom you taste when someone starts believing in you without ties.

Higly recommended.

Holy Sh*t!! This book is amazing!!! I went into this book thinking it would be just another trashy shifter fic, BUT I WAS WRONG! Yeah, it had all those elements but it was SO GOOD!! It had great plot and character development, and I laughed so hard in places! The spice was on-point and added to the plot and never felt over used or just filler. I even felt invested in the story and by the time I reached half way, I couldn’t put it down!!

***4.5/5 Stars***

Dasher was a holiday romance that had all the spice!  With reindeer shifters, Krampus, pleasure club’s and more, this book was unlike anything I have ever read.  It is the most unique Christmas book ever!  Within the pages were characters that were easy to like, a story-line that was fun, and moments filled with all the heat.
What a twist of fate to link a gentle doe to someone like me.

Dasha Dancer was one of Santa’s reindeer.  She was a shifter, who in the offseason worked at Santa’s gentlemen’s club.  Dasha was new to both of the scenes, so I loved watching her try and push herself.  She wanted to be the best she could be, as a flier and a dancer.  Surrounding her were the other reindeer she worked with, plus elfs, and demons too.  It was such a fascinating world!  So the moment Krampus, Santa’s brother, entered the club sparks flew between them!
“So, it’s pleasure you seek from me, Dasha Dasher?”
She leans forward until we’re eye-to-eye. “That’s one reason.”

From the moment Dasha gave Krampus a lap dance, I couldn’t stop grinning.  He had a pleasure club that worked differently than Santa’s, but he couldn't stay away from her.  I loved how he was kind, and that he always seemed to have her back.  Even if he came across as a monster to others.  Although that tongue of his, it was truly like another character in this book :).
“Dasha.” Krampus’s voice makes me feel like I’m in the kitchen pulling warm cookies from the oven. I want to melt against him. How could one moment together make me need him so much?

The chapters were short, and it made this book so easy to binge in almost a day! And I loved how the side characters stood out so easily.  I’m hoping that we’ll get some of their stories or novellas down the road!  Also, while the rivalry between Santa and Krampus kept me wondering what was going to happen next, I enjoyed watching how family and friendship played into this story too.
“When I fuck you, Dasha, I will claim you. I will take you in every way you wish, but only when you’re ready to call me yours.”

Dasher was a seductive Christmas story that was filled with all the steam.  I really enjoyed reading this book, but you need to be comfortable with erotic moments being watched by others.  If you’re looking for something to shake up your holiday reads, this is definitely the book!

Omg!! I want more of this couple!!
I wasn't sure what to expect when I read the summary of this book; it made me curious enough to give it a shot, and I'm glad I did. This book had funny and spicy moments, and I wasn't expecting the twist near the end of the story.
I love how Dasha changed and grew as a character alongside Krampus. I also enjoyed seeing how the reindeer lived when they weren't flying around the world on Christmas day. I'm excited to see more of the reindeer's stories.

This book was hard to put down! I thoroughly enjoyed every page. Let me start by saying: do not judge this book as a Christmas story—because doing so would be a massive disservice. It’s not, and it doesn’t try to be (just look at the cover!). If you’re searching for a sweet, typical holiday tale, this isn’t it, and you might be disappointed.

But if you’re open to something entirely different, you’re in for a treat. The writing is clean, simple, and precise—I dare anyone to find a flaw in it. The characters? Dynamic and absolutely engaging. Dasha’s energy is contagious, like when she’s bouncing in her seat while getting her makeup done. An exasperated makeup artist hilariously tells her, “I felt like I was sweeping mascara while on a bus with no shocks.” That’s just one of many charming and laugh-out-loud moments that make this book such a joy.

And let’s talk about Krampus. He was nothing like I expected—in the best possible ways. Sure, it took a minute to adjust to this entirely new version of the North Pole, but once I did, I was hooked. If you approach this story with an open mind and maybe a cup of “Dasha’s Dynamite” (cinnamon whiskey) in hand, you’ll discover heaping portions of romance, playful banter, family drama, behind-the-scenes North Pole intrigue, and yes—a whole lot of spice.

I, for one, am grateful to the elves who pulled back the curtain and gave us front-row seats to this wildly entertaining, unconventional tale. Highly recommend!

Disclaimer - I received an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest opinion.

A good little story wherein Santa's reindeer are shifters and after the big Christmas run, they work in his club named The Arctic. The jolly fat man isn't quite the character we've all been led to believe. He's a businessman who traffics in sex for show. His club has the girls dancing on stage and performing private lap dances and other things in rooms where touching is allowed.

Dasha Dasher is new. Having been picked shortly before Christmas, she loved flying the sleigh more than anything. She also loves her new job as hostess at the Arctic. Then she meets Krampus and realizes they are mates. He wants to complete the mate bond with her but that could mean giving up her life and everything she loves just to be with him. Also, her aunt, the previous Dasher, is insistent she learns how to dance on the stage and become intimate with men.

There's plenty of conflict between Santa and Krampus as well, just to add to the mix. Oh, and the spice level is probably 4 out of 5.

I really enjoyed reading this story. I loved the characters and it was nice to see Krampus in a positive light. The pace of the story was perfect and everything flowed well.

This is an unusual take on Santa and his reindeer. I love Dasha and Krampus. They are a grumpy sunshine pairing that sparks joy. Krampus runs a club where supernatural can explore whatever their interests are. They are a collection of misfits Krampus has collected and protected. When he meets his mate, his very rigid life is sent into chaos. Dasha has been selected to help pull Santa's sleigh and she's hired as a hostess at Santa's club. Dasha wants to do her best but multiple people are trying to shove her into her aunt's image. Krampus helps her find her confidence and figure out who she wants to be. They are spicy and adorable together.

Dasha's family is vile and the antithesis of Christmas Spirit. I think they actually take the cake for this year's villains in all the books I've read.

Santa gives mixed feelings bordering on creepy and I'm not sure how much of that is actually Santa or the perception of others. Santa's setup seems exploitative and manipulating his does into working at his strip club if they want to pull his sleigh. I'm curious if it's a perception issue or it is as manipulative as it feels.

This book introduced so many characters and I would love a whole series in this universe.

I love this book so much I read it again last night, this is a delightful, steamy, action packed, fun romance 💕. Sasha Dasher is a beautiful, charming and talented Reindeer shifter. It’s her first year pulling Santa’s sleigh and starting work at Claus Club. She’s had a very lonely childhood, mother seldom home, she lives alone in an old, cold barn. Aunt Desi lives in luxurious apartment, has trains her to dance and act every day, never satisfied. Dasha is sweet and kind and tries hard to please everyone. I love her bubbly personality. Krampus is Santa’s half brother, they don’t get along well. Krampus visits Claus Club with his guards, now the fun begins 🤩. Krampus sees Dasha and is fascinated, who is she? Dasha sees Krampus from a distance, intrigued. I find Krampus very interesting and funny, big, strong , has horns and his reaction to finding Dasha his fated mate is so delightful he’s in for a wild ride. I loved reading about their complicated relationship, the highs and lows and their amazing journey. Wonderful HEA. Awesome reading.

Loved this! I’m always on the look out for different paranormal holiday romance books to read during the holiday season and jumped at the opportunity to read this one!

All her life Dasha has been groomed by her aunt to take her place at the Arctic Room- Santa’s gentleman’s club. She’s been told she’s too fast, too quirky, too much and yet not enough. But one fateful night she runs into Krampus at the club and everything changed.

Dasha and Krampus are absolute 🔥. I love how absolutely head over heels in love with her he is, that he would do absolutely anything for her and helps her realize that she’s perfect exactly the way she is.

This book was the perfect holiday spicy read I was looking for!

Excuse me while my page becomes a Georgie Monroe stan account for a second. This is definitely one of my favourite books that’s I’ve found since I’ve started my bookstagram. Monster/ shifter romances are quickly becoming my favourite genre. And books like this are the reason why. It’s written so beautifully. I connected with freaking Krampus. Like I fell in love with him too! lol like how do you make a Christmas shifter romance with SWers and cookie making elves so good? I thought it was gonna be corny I’m not gonna lie. I wish I had found it during Christmas time cuz that would’ve been so good lol I am obsessed and I need more of Dasha and Krampus and the rest. I’m blown away.

4.5 stars. Oh my gosh, I can’t stop laughing about how naughty Santa and his female reindeer shifters are on the other days of the year not spent preparing for Christmas and rewarding the good kids.

Dasha Dasher so came into her own person. She was every bit the nervous newbie excited to be in her new role as one of Santa’s flyers but she also needed to fit into his strip club business on non Christmas days. You could tell she was young, awkward and clumsy at times but made an impact on Santa’s half brother, Krampus. Despite her aunt’s controlling influence, she managed to navigate life and make friends even as she’d been told numerous times by her aunt not to mingle with others.

This was not the usual kind of book I'd pick up, but when I saw that Georgie Monroe had a new book out, I had to have it - and I loved it! Krampus was delightful, and I was a big fan of Dasha, too. The tropes were chef’s kiss. I also found the whole world super interesting and intriguing - although I would have liked a little more background about the world before diving into the story, as although this book is part of a series by different authors, it seems like each book is intended to act as a standalone, too. There were also a few scenes where I was a little confused about what was going on and I had to re-read them to figure it out. But overall, I loved this and can't stop thinking about the characters and clubs! The spice was excellent!!

I wanted a Christmas story... Santa, flying reindeer, elves, and cookies... And this gave me all of that and more... Friendship, romance, spicy time and growth of character...

I was rooting for Dasher to come into her own... to bloom. And she did. Sometimes, we have to not rely so heavily on the approval of family and seek our own path.

I really enjoyed the positive changes that happened between the fated mates. And the support of their found family.

It's a fun and fast read. Definitely recommend.

From delivering toys for Santa during Christmas to working at his strip club in the off season, we follow Dasha Dasher (yes, one of Santa's shapeshifting reindeer) as she turns from timid, first year flyer to being a witty, confident pole dancer and finding her mate in Santa's brother, Krampus. It was a uniquely intriguing spin on our favorite holiday characters all in a fun and sexy read. Started a bit strange but hanging in there was rewarding.

It took me a chapter to get into the Santa/Krampus/does/elves/demons, etc. mindset, but it was a fun twist on ALL the relationships: Santa running a gentlemen’s club, Krampus running a sex club. And Dasha caught in the middle. I loved how Krampus helped Dasha to accept herself, have confidence in her strength and stand up for what was right for her! Very empowering!

A Wild Holiday Mash-Up
Rating: 8/10
Spice Level: 3/5
Reread: Maybe
Continue Series: Maybe

Dasha Dasher - Santa's new X-mas night flyer (reindeer shifter)
Krampus - Literally the X-mas monster and Santa's half-brother

Dasha Dasher is a reindeer shifter with a dream: to fly. After her first successful flight night (X-mas), she finds herself caught in a less dreamy situation, training to be a hostess/stripper in Santa's Club. Enter Krampus, the Christmas monster and Santa's half-brother, who instantly bonds with Dasha. Their connection is immediate, but complications arise as they navigate how to reveal their bond to Santa.

The heart of the story beats around them putting off the consummation of their bond and the antics of Desi, Dasha's aunt, whose ambitions threaten to disrupt the holiday "harmony" even more. Santa's club and entire business is slightly morally off-putting and I hated him for like half of the book. Krampus and his a bit less forceful employment and yet sex club isn't far behind Claus on the ladder to shady choices. However, Desi, in a combination of the business she wants to open and how she is forcing and gaslighting Dasha into things top of any shadiness from the X-mas brothers. Not only are the brothers against Desi and thus we don't like her plot-wise, but she is also a horrendous human and I truly wanted to strangle her.

This novella blends holiday magic with a respectable amount of spice, exploring themes of love and family dynamics against a backdrop of holiday festivities. The idea of reindeer shifters being given flying gifts from Santa, paired with the entire sexual/sensual-centric clubs and activities is definitely something that you don't usually come across. The book is a good holiday short read if you are looking for a dash of monster romance, some vague shifter/monster, some fated mates spice, and all of it with a super winter backdrop.

As a last note, it was not very clear to me from the blurb, but this book does indeed have a dash of monster spice. Besides the fact that they insta-bond, there are a couple of scenes that are spicy in which Krampus is in his monster form. Additionally, the entire set-up of clubs and what the flyers had to do, and especially how Desi was pressuring Dasha really bordered on an uncomfortable degree of forced sexualization of the poor girl for me.

Krampus is such a sweetheart. He's grumpy to everyone BUT NOT HER. I LOVE HIM.

The attraction was instant and they were fated mates, yum. No he didn't see her across the room, stalked towards her and growled "mine." She literally ran into his big, scrumptious back and that's when they realised.

"A body thwacks into my back, sending me a step forward because I wasn’t expecting it. I turn to find messy pink hair and big tired blue eyes staring up at me. When I inhale, I ball my fists as a handful of thoughts ricochet an argument inside my mind. This isn’t possible. It is. Take her. I can’t. Push her through the portal and into the safety of Criminal. They will ban me and take her back. Not if I kill them. That’s preposterous and wrong. Do I care? I should. Because that could ruin this first impression of me and my mate is going to have a hard enough time getting used to having a monster in her life. I have a mate."

She's one of Santa's doe shifter, Dasha Dasher. For 364 days of the year, Santa's Does are strippers/dancers in the Artic Room run by Santa. Krampus owns a business called Criminal. Its basically people watching others have sex, hot I know. Dasha's aunt, Desi, is the like best thing ever and finds every way to show Dasha that she's basically nothing compared to her. Dasha's style is like a Walmart version of Aunt Desi because its not her own. Krampus helped her find her own dancing style.

“You’re not ready, Dasha. You’re scared to dance like you want–”

“I just want to be good.”

I growl at her. “You are good. The way you’re moving against me now… you know your body, you just listen to others instead of yourself. If Nick and Caren and Desi can’t see what you are, they are blind to talent. Use what you already have, Dasha. It’s beautiful.”

“Thank you.” Her eyes tear up. “Will you please have sex with me now?” - Priorities

“You made me come in my pants like an adolescent, Dasha Dasher. And you’re going to do it again tomorrow.” He shoves my legs apart, scrambles backward, and licks, making my hips lift off the bed as he slips his tongue deep inside me.

In the old days, I would have slaughtered anyone who stood in my way, mounted Dasha and took her like the beast trying to escape from inside me, because that’s our nature. Find, take, claim, mine. But we’ve all worked hard— humans, fae, gods and demons— to make the world into a better place.

I really really really like him. He's so Krampus.

Plot: ⭐⭐⭐

Yes it actually had a plot and a good one at that.

Smut: 🌶🌶🌶

GUUUURRRRRLLLL!!!

WHEN I TELL YOU THE TONGUE ON THAT BEAST. There was a scene (or 2) that fulfilled my Beauty and the Beast fantasy. If you know you know.

Well, this put the jolly fat man in a whole new light. Who would have thought Santa ran a strip club in the off-season and did you know all his reindeer were does? Gives a who new meaning to Santa’s ho-ho-ho. Of course, Santa’s half-brother Krampus had taken things one step further and ran a steamy sex club. While both clubs were for the mystic world (i.e. no humans), I could almost see the sparkling icy lights of the Arctic Club or the dark, smoky rooms of Criminal. When someone starts trying to poach workers from Krampus’s club, there couldn’t be a worse time to run into his fated mate! Dasha has just had her first Christmas run with Santa and is excited to be working at his club. A bit awkward, a bit ditzy, she is always struggling to live up to her aunt’s expectations and has a bit of a self-esteem problem. So, when she literally runs into Krampus, she’s unprepared for the feeling of being seen for the first time. There are some hilarious moments as Dasha and Krampus try to come to terms with their mate bond. Like when Krampus was stuck in his demon form and couldn’t shift back when separated from Dasha. Dasha’s Krampus cookies were pretty funny too (especially when she said he couldn’t have any). However, I loved how Dasha and Krampus were so open with each other and how Dasha came into her own with Krampus’s support. They even get one over on Dasha’s devious aunt.
