Rate this book
Laurel Sharpe's job as a barista means she interacts with hundreds of people a day, but there's one customer in particular she always looks forward to seeing. At 81 years old, Mr. Parker is not only full of sage wisdom, but also provides much needed humor to lighten Laurel's busy workdays. When his grandson, Scott, comes to town for Christmas, Laurel finds herself attracted to him - but there's a catch. Scott intended to spend a few days in Green Grove visiting his grandfather - nothing more. But that changes when Mr. Parker breaks his leg, and Scott decides to stay and take care of him. As his attraction to Laurel grows, he has to face the facts. He's already left one girl waiting at the altar. Will he ever be brave enough to make a lifelong commitment - especially to a girl like Laurel?

I had so much fun writing this short and sweet Christmas novella! Full of cozy small town vibes and heartwarming humor, I hope you'll enjoy reading it just as much as I enjoyed writing it :)
