My heart and soul both belong to the Ruthless Kings. As the club’s VP, it’s expected that nothing comes before the Kings for me. And for the years, I’ve been happy with that life. But recently, I’ve been feeling a longing for something more… It was on a routine run down to Phoenix that I found what I’ve been looking for. The problem is, she belongs to another. She belongs to the President of the club I’ve been tasked with getting back into line, to be exact. But the heart wants what the heart wants. If Molly and I want to be together, we’re going to have to navigate a sea of betrayal, club politics, violence, and even death.
We’re going to have to risk it all… but if we’re successful, it will be well worth it.
I loved it! This takes place before Ruthless Kings Vegas. Hawk is Boomer's dad. It's so wild to hear about him falling in love and the crap he goes through for Molly, trying to get her out of a bad situation. He's a good guy, and it was the right choice. Right after reading this, I went back to read Reaper's Rise. I have the worst memory when it comes to this stuff. Thinking I knew how things ended up leaves me super curious what direction this could go in, if there's another book. I'll read anything KL writes at this point.
But it was hard. Not only does this book end on a ridiculous, and heart wrenching, cliffhanger but it was all sorts of crazy.
I almost DNF’d this book but just wanted to see the MMC and FMC get together already. It takes 74% to get to their moment. 74%!! The whole first 74% are these ridiculously repetitive monologues that the main characters give. JUST GIVE IN ALREADY. Molly’s story is so sad, I felt for her, and the cliffhanger didn’t help… I found the time jumps super awkward. I wanted more about them together!
Definitely not a favorite of the series… guess we’ll see what happens on the next one.
This book was very slow monologue until about chapter 16/18 of 31 chapters. Then slow again. Needed something more. If I didn’t know better I’d think a ghost writer wrote this and not K.L Savage. It was not up to par had no conclusion like all the others. I actually just skipped and skimmed through the book. Sorry.
I read this story on the Radish app. So therefore it was broken up into episodes/chapters. Yes it makes it sometimes take a bit longer to read but the story was still a great story.
People new to K.L. Savage may have a hard time with the way it ended or flowed but if you are a fan you will get it and enjoy it for the story it is.
If your new consider it a prequel to Reapers Rise and read that one next. Even if you have already read all the others maybe read Hawk and then reread Reapers Rise- Reaper to get a recap.
I love Molly! She is so much stronger then you would think or even she thinks!
Hawk is an amazing character and I feel even more hurt for him!
Their story is not easy or pretty but then again no Ruthless King has an easy story!
This was a good story for the most part. However, there were several times throughout the book where it was repetitive (mostly with their internal thoughts), numerous editing errors, and then it ends with a huge cliffhanger (which I absolutely hate!). If the repetition wouldn't have been included, there would have been plenty of room for the rest of the story. It's beyond irritating when authors draw out a story over how many ever books instead of completing the story within one book. For people like myself who literally read at least 5-7 novels a week, it's impossible to keep up with what happened several months ago in a certain book. It's for this reason that I don't usually read any series until it's complete, but unfortunately I had already started this one. I honestly don't know if I will continue reading this series, as it seems to be getting worse with every book. I thought that the author was getting back to how it was in the beginning (the last couple of books were more like the original ones), but now it seems as though it's continuing going downhill. I know that this series and author both have a lot of followers, and I hope that you all will be able to enjoy the rest of the future books.
It had been a while since I had read a K.L. Savage book, but I had read all of the Las Vegas’ series. I loved them and looked forward to reading Hawk’s story.
I really loved the storyline of Hawk and Molly. I did not realize that this story was a cliffhanger. I HATE cliffhangers! But after reading several reviews, found that the next book is Reaper’s Rise.
The writing and grammar was terrible. What I thought was so weird was that they used all these difficult words, which were unnecessary, especially for an MC book.
This was a beautiful nightmare. Absolutely no other way to say it. I just finished and I am in tears. I have read all the other ruthless kings books so I know the future as it pertains to this book, but it still left me whirling and breathing heavily. And damn if it still is not a cliffhanger end despite them I sledge of the future. Get ready for a ride. Oh! And get used to the word: staff, stakj, and precipice as the authors really like these three words.
What an ending. NO!!! Molly is referred to as a whore in Hawks letter to Reaper in the next book. Jenkins is her son...she was not a whore. Being kept a slave and then sold into human trafficking??? I really didn't understand. Anyway, I liked Mol's and it sure was sad to read about her that way. Otherwise, I liked this series.

I find it confusing that there are reviews dated from 2022 and they mention about Hawk’s child Boomer??And the death of Hawk? This book was released on December 12th 2023 and it ends on a cliffhanger(which doesn’t make me happy because there is no mention of whether there will be a sequel). Hawk is not dead and his son is named Jenkins so can someone explain this to me please?
This is a well written story which is an action packed,, emotional roller coaster, with danger, suspense, intrigue, challenges, romance, and love which all leads an entertaining and addictive thrilling page turner which ends in a cliffhanger. I look forward to reading more in this intriguing series and I highly for this talented authors work.
I don’t like cliffhangers, the question is where is Molly? This is an excellent read, Molly has gone thru so much in her young life, then bam kidnapped, thrust into a situation. Then Hawk shows up, she is saved, kidnapped again.
Poor Molly . What the heck. She's been rough though it since her kidnapping and then again argh . And hawk what's gonna happen with him and jenkins. Really good read. Good plot twist .
Another smash hit. I love these books. Hawk and Molly are great main characters and this book will blow you away. Excellent writing. Explosive storyline.

K. L. Savage has done it to me again!!! This book lifted me up and slammed me on the ground left me gasping for more. Hawk is Reaper's bestfriend and Boomer's dad this is his story and I have to say I absolutely loved it. Hawk is truly a Ruthless King in every way and Molly was made for him in every way, but he broke every rule for her. This story was so exciting and I was on the edge of my seat. Highly recommended and I am simply in love with K.L. Savage and the Ruthless Kings!!!!
I devoured this story in one day since it was short.
I always wanted to know who Hawk was as a person. I came across from his name from Reaper's rise story.
I loved how Hawk was actually a good person and fun. But I do feel way story ended left some unanswered questions. I've just started the series so not entirely sure if the answers come across other books which I highly doubt. I already know what happens to Hawk which is a tear jerker but I was hoping this book would of said how that exactly happens and more about what happened to Molly.
This book can easily go into a book 2 to go into those details but doubt highly that will happen.
I absolutely loved Hawk and Molly’s story but I was left with sooo many questions!!! I hope KL will write another book that will answer all of the questions left in Hawk and Molly’s, and Boomer, and Sara’s and Reaper’s stories. Did reaper avenge Hawks death? Did give up looking for Molly? Did Hawk tell Boomer that his mother was NOT a whore, that she was kidnapped twice and forced to do things she didn’t want to? If not why? Just sooo many questions still unanswered 😢
I really loved reading this book. It made the whole story of the ruthless kings coming together. Hawk and molly did everything they could to protect each other and Jenkins(their son). You get why Jenkins ended up with Reaper in the end. And why Sarah (in Reaper's book) doesn't know about her parents. Just wish that this book was on more sites(could only find it on Radish)
