Present day Sydney, but this is not the city you know. Super powered heroes and villains stalk the streets, swim the waters and soar through the skies. Every one of them registered, catalogued and government approved. Most of them anyway. Sasha and Alexis, are on the hunt for the people responsible for their parent’s deaths. Their quest for knowledge soon becomes one for revenge and then of survival as the shadowy mastermind behind their tragedy once again uses them as unwilling tools. Along the way they gather other allies with unusual powers and abilities and set their sights on bringing down the mysterious organisation and its sinister leader.
Andrew has designed a world full of interesting characters. His imagination is fantastic and some of his scientific ideology is not completely novice. Some of his characters are very complicated, others very shallow. I can see there could be a followup story as there are some interesting cliffhangers. I eagerly await the sequel if he continues. Highly recommend.
Phenomenal storyline, great character development that really gets you to connect to the characters as the story goes one. Would highly recommend to anyone who loves modern fantasy, sci-fi, YA books!
Andrew draws you into a world of Superheroes that grips the imagination and takes you to a place where pages vanish and you enter his world that he has created for you. DEFINITELY check this out well worth a read. Andrew has shared his very creative Imagination that started when he guided me through a world of superheroes when Andrew was an imaginative, creative and gifted Game master. Reading his book takes me back to adventuring and in turning the pages of his book I am transported to his world that started in the pages of a game and now extends in the pages of a book and grips my imagination and entertains and enlivens and creates a world as he did years ago
A really interesting read and my first introduction to the world of superhero’s. Backdropped in a dystopian Sydney, some great characters with a lot of potential…I hope that I can rejoin them in the future.
