In general, I like that your poems are oriented towards your feelings, thoughts, questions. Everyone can relate to that. You make yourself vulnerable in that. As your friend, I wanna encourage you to not fear vulnerability in future, now that you felt what can happen when people take advantage of it. Stay true to your sensitive and emotional nature. Anyway, I'm not your therapist.

First and foremost, I would like to highlight the poems and lines that were the most pure and touching to me.
"I called to wish you a happy birthday
But you didn't pick up" (p. 21)
Honestly, „Të dua“ made me cry. It's real.
The letter on page 41. Cute.
„If he asks you about me“. Very good.
„Vivienne Westwood“. Great.
It’s the ones that don’t need any metaphorical level or comparisons. The language is definite, the poems are just there and therefore they tell a sober story, without trying too hard. I’m not saying you are trying too hard in your other poems, I just like the pureness of it.

One metaphor I really enjoyed is the rental.
"As if our feelings for one another were rental
As if breaking the lease was the answer" (p. 18)
That's a very good line.
On page 53 this metaphor returns. „You’d say I love you; Then you’d run away. As if our feelings for one another were rented on a market place.“ I get it. You like things that last forever, or that make you feel that way at least. You're not a renter. You're a buyer. But are you still? Or did he hurt you too much?

This connects to my next thought: What I like about IYRAOOCYHEN is that you're in it. I feel like I got to know you better by reading your poems. Apart from that, I feel like qualitatively good art exists when the consumers also get to know themselves better. Like I said before, by asking universal questions and sharing relatable thoughts, your poems become good art. They made me think. After reading "Home" I asked myself: Will I ever feel love? How does love feel for me? If love feels how you describe it, I wanna love someone. I love my friends, but that's not the same. Is this an act of love? Me, taking time to write a review on my notes and copy pasting it into gmail. To let you know I like you. And also: What is home? For me, home is a wandering construct. Something, somewhere or someone, you feel attracted to and safe in the moment. Home therefore is freedom, also symbolized by the bird on page 25.

However, „My secret garden“ and „Be-e“…
I might be biased, but reading these I felt like in a Lana Del Rey song which might feel like a compliment for you. I personally think that the figures of nature, fruits, bees and hummingbirds are outdated and seem quite old-schoolish. Yet I really liked the verse "give you nectar, give you my essence“ (p. 62). The sexualness of it.

The concept of part four might be my favorite one. Love is a feeling and feelings aren’t connected to language which feeds the idea of writing some poems in different languages. „Venë t'bardhë, jo t’kuqe“ shows love to yourself, in your mother language. You seem to start finding some kind of comfort in solitude. It shows a powerful side of you. After that, you are romanticizing him again. Why? I would've loved to see a harsh, fierce Kreshnik in this part. One, who knows his worth and his intelligence... Part five. Good. Solid. Reading part six made me think of something one of my best friends once told me that I would like to share with you: Once you realize how much you bring to the table, you’ll decide who is allowed to sit at your table.

I started reading IYRAOOCYHEN without any expectations. I kept an open mind and was positively impressed. I like your choice of words (with few exceptions) and the rhythm of the poems. You're good. Excited for volume two. I still have a few questions, though. What did you love about him? And also I am wondering, what breakup song do you relate to?

A very very good friend of mine gifted me this book as a birthday present.

I started reading it whilst I was at the lowest point during this year.

The author takes the rawest and deepest emotions that we bury deep within ourselves, and arranges them in the most beautiful way there is.

The authenticity of the author when writing about a heartbreak, the betrayal made by a loved one resonates with every once of your body.

My absolute favorite is the one called : Damned when I read it I cried for about 20 minutes. It puts words into feelings I have had during all my past relationships. The feeling of despair, the feeling that life is crumbling to dust and all you want is to go back to theses last times together to beg the Gods to make them stay.

Kreshnik has no doubt written the most beautiful and inspiring book published theses past years.

In a world where everyone tries to bury its demons, Kreshnik confronts them and beats them out of his mind.

So if you’re going through any type of grief, any type of trauma, theses words will resonate with you like they did with me. The healing journey is long, but worth it and this book tells you it’s ok to fall, only if you get up again.

Thank you Kreshnik for these beautiful writings and for sharing your grieving journey with us.

This poetry moved me in a way that no one else could. The style and language is beautiful and raw and the illustrations are touching and wonderfully rendered. Wish I could read it for the first time again. Can't wait for what Hoti has next.
