An excellent collection of essays affirming Palestinians’ inalienable freedom and moral obligation to fight the genocidal, settler-colonial aims of zionism by any means necessary
A brilliant collection of essays, creative works and interviews that are both informative and educational, providing context for the ongoing genocide against Palestinians in a manner that is accessible to its readers. The collection is thoughtfully curated, with works pulling from early and contemporary activists and scholars, interviews from experts, and some poems. The later pieces propose tangible actions for the global anti-zionist movement and address misconceptions of Palestinian resistance. Highly recommend you give this a read.
Not really a book per se, so I won’t give it the traditional treatment I do with other reviews.
What I will say is that this served as a necessary reminder of what solidarity looks like when it comes to the liberation of Palestine. Some important and informative pieces in there that I believe everyone should read.
All sorts of things to disagree with in here, but in sum this is an extremely valuable collection of essays and interviews on the history and politics of the Palestine question, situated within a framework of decolonialism and unapologetic anti-imperialism. I learned a lot.
